BREAKING NEWS:
Earlier this year Sneaker News confirmed the re-release of the Air Jordan XIII (13) Retro in Black/Altitude Green. However, the 2010 version comes with one noticeable alteration; the upper of the shoe is constructed with the mesh material seen in Air Jordan XIII Flint instead of leather that was used in the original version. The pebbled material on the heel and smoother leather on the toe and tongue remain. This drastic change in material will surely stir some level of debate, and for those who considered passing on this release (whether that decision was based on having the shoe already or not being fond of the original), it looks like some reconsideration might need to be done. I love these more than the ogs now that material with the whole color scheme makes sense plus adding it won’t get hella wrinkly like the ogs did. Damn only if these were dropping in the states I would go so hard for these like I am for the flints

Wow…the 3M on these should be pretty spectacular. If they end up re-retroing these in 10 years or so, my vote is for glow in the dark accents. Can you imagine how INSANE an all-black base with reflective silver and glow in the dark green would look?!?!?!?!

earlier they daid the 2010 flints werent gonna have 3M, which is pretty retarded, good thing i have my 05's, and these probably want have it either, I rather have the og look, but i still WILL COP!!!

is it just me, or do the newer 13s comin out seem to be more "slim", like the toebox looks pointier or somn? anyway these are fresh regardless

Not even close IMO…The leather upper was/is much better. Especially for quality appearance. I'm happy for the changes though. So many of the same make of kicks waters things down. Easy pass!!!

but yeah im not sure if this is better than the leather either like that one guy up there said, but they still good! i really dont like the green tone tho. it looks so awkward after seeing the OGs so many times

the mesh isnt a bad thing, but the probably with it i have is that it kinda messed with feel of the shoe. before it was a more distinct feel, seeing as how the whole concept of the shoe was Black Panthers, and they were usually in black leather. i mean not a huge complaint but its deffinately a different shoe almost now

I was thinking the same thing. The green is definitely off a little bit. the original was definitely a warmer green. I would say copped but I just know that they'll re-re-release these WITH the the leather in 5 years for all us OG purists. And then boom another insta-cop.

lovin the new changes, the old 05's were just distinctive and sorta bland in my imo. the 3m mesh makes it stand out much more. i love it. you cant go wrong with 3m on a nearly all black shoe

5s and 13s are my favorites,but these are an easy pass,not feelin the mesh 3m side panel and the neon looks too bright…stick with my other pair which are still DS

I don't feel good about buying Jordans nowadays. Almost all his team stuff are ugly. What's with the new 2010s? The retros have people complaining after each production photo and each step they take in them. Powder 9s hit the outlets and I still did not touch them. I made mistake back in 94 to choose the charcoals over the powders. I was asking for money back then. Now I make money and I don't feel like it's up to my standards. I haven't bought Jordans since the CDP 7/16. ANY Jordans for that matter. What makes me want to get these when I have fears about the quality?

I feel you man, i feel like Js aren't really worth the $$ nowadays. Most of the new shit that i bought are crap from them (quality). Even the for the love of the game 7s, it was exclusive and was a quickstrike and the quality was decent/ good but not good enough compared to regular nike basketball shoes including the ones that are made to be beat. The fact is that jordan is in debt (word from my sources). so thats why there is a raise in price for his js and lack of material/ quality. Like really? your shoes cost more and the quality/ material aint worth the money i'm paying. This disappoints me a lot. But i'm glad that i'm slowly trying to quit the sneakergame even though its an addiction. i rather get fly with $100+ clothes and $100+ jeans rather than look bummy on torso to legs and just fresh on the feet for a certain time before it gets beat.
