Houston Rockets power forward Luis Scola has followed Kevin Garnett as the second NBA star to sign on with Chinese footwear brand Anta. Scola’s upcoming Anta signature should meet with a warmer greeting than the KGs’ mixed reviews, as the design is both more familiar to US sneakerheads and their unique inclusion of Luis’ career accomplishments might be the best since the Air Jordan X. Things like ‘Spanish basketball league rookie of the year’ wrap around the heel of this pair, which is colored up after the Chinese flag. Even the sole on these is interesting, with midsole tooling similar to the Hyperdunk 2010 and Zoom Kobe V from Nike, but the podular outsole unlike anything we’ve ever seen. I would really like to see more companies come to the U.S. market. Peak especially! I would cop a pair of Anta shoes to give em a try. I like to mix it up! I'd cop these and the KG even if they are kinda ugly!

Lmao I know Scola is a good player but I would never buy his shoe. Plus its kind of ugly, not as bad as I expected though
