Nike Room Socks – Holiday 2010

Dropping this Holiday 2010 season at $30 a pop is the Nike Room Sock in four colorways. These slip-on house-slippers will give you the opportunity to rock Nikes without dirtying up your rug or scuffing up your floor. The thickly padded Nike Room Sock features a slip-on construction with plus cushioning around your feet, and you will have these four colorways to choose from. Something more relevant to Japanese sneaker culture than in the U.S., the Nike Room Sock should be a fun addition to your at-home line-up. Limited Edt Vault x New Balance M577BST

It might be easy for US sneakerheads to confuse them with Japan’s similarly named Limited EDT, but anyone who knows SE Asia can tell you that Limited Edt Vault is at the top of Singapore’s sneaker boutique list.  Revisiting a tag team that first released a collabo sneaker back in 2008, the Limited Edt Vault x New Balance M577BST will release at a bunch of the best boutiques around the world, but only in a tiny 100 pair run.  The Tiffany-like black and aqua colorup is solid, but the real draw here might be a VIP ticket into the Limited Edt Chamber where you’ll find a well curated collection on display.  US sneakerheds will find these at Bodega, UNDFTD, Nice Kicks and Sole Boutique (plus Livestock in Canada) on November 20th, and you can see more shots when you click the jump below.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Cross Combat | Available

Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals ObyO capsule has been marked by quirky tongues and African-inspired late ’80s/early ’90s hip-hop aesthetics, but for his latest effort, the great Scott got into the Delorean and went back further.  Way further, in fact, all the way back to the middle ages, where you might expect to see a crusader rocking something vaguely similar to the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Cross Combat.  In shape, the Cross Combat is more or less a super-high take on the adidas TRX and uses an identical sole, but these joints are set apart by their use of a beaded cross inset into the tongue.  Check out more images after the jump and look for these at select adidas Originals retailers including Extra Butter NY.

Nike Air Max Wavy – Midnight Navy – Photo Blue

The Nike Air Max Wavy was a great option for the ballers on a budget, as the obvious Foamposite inspiration combined with the $80 price-tag made the Wavy a shoe that was hard to turn down. Starting off with the Arctic Blast colorway and then later followed up by a number of familiar faces like Copper, Matte Black, and other familiar Foamposite releases, the Wavy grabbed immediate attention as a shoe that should not be overlooked. Although the material itself wasn’t Foamposite (closer to the Playerposite material), the satiny upper was still a nice touch – and this new Midnight Navy/Photo Blue colorway looks to be the headlining colorway for the Air Max Wavy this Holiday season. Eastbay just made a pre-order available so check out the extra shots after the jump and let us know what you think.

Nike LeBron VIII – Deconstructed

Engineering a pair of sneakers to fit the exact needs of LeBron James is a tricky task; he’s not the prototypical small forward because he’s as fast as a small point guard but weighs as much as a power forward. After six signature shoes featuring Zoom cushioning, the script was flipped and Air Max was the centerpiece for the Air Max LeBron VII – undoubtedly the most successful LeBron signature shoe to date. Here we get a look at a deconstructed pair of the Nike LeBron 8 and the LeBron-specific 360-Air Unit that was designed just for him; the Air Unit features 80% more Air than the 360 Air Max used in Nike’s running shoes, and the midsole is constructed of three major pieces – the outsole, Max Air, and the upper midsole that features support curves and a thicker heel. Take another look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more tech information and updates regarding the Nike LeBron 8. via nikeevanli.

Air Jordan VII Retro Premio Bin 23 – Detailed Images

Purple labels are a sign of ultra-premium quality from Ralph Lauren to The North Face, and now Jordan Brand turns to the royal look to designate its creme de la creme.  The Air Jordan VII Premio marks the fourth Bin 23 release, and something of a departure from the first three.  Each of those had focused on the sheer luxury of the package, offering rich earthy and golden tones courtesy of deluxe leathers.  But for the Bin 23 AJ7, we’re looking at more of a period piece, with the Seven’s signature spikey lines moved from the tongue and extended from the outsole onto a high-contrast heel pattern that might remind you of any number of early ’90s aesthetics.  The closest you’ll get to to a Hillman College reunion, see more of the Air Jordan 7 Premio when you click the jump below.  via IST

Nike Air Trainer Huarache Spring 2011 Preview

SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE

The Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid is certainly one of the best releases of the year and one of the better fresh designs of the decade. Inspired by the original Nike Air Huarache Trainer, the Zoom Huarache TR Mid is certainly a worthy bearer of the proud Nike Training torch. But some who consider themselves older souls might prefer the classic over the modern, and for Spring 2011, the call will be answered, because several colorways both new and old of the original Nike Air Trainer Huarache are expected to release. A new colorway that mixes medium grey, black, white, and photo blue will be available (previously released at JDSports) as well a black and varsity red combination, but of course it’s the OG Raiders-esque colorway that should rings bells of a long gone era. It’s one great span of releases if you’re a fan of the Huarache Trainer so check out all three upcoming colorways of the Air Trainer Huarache after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more information on upcoming Nike Retro releases.

Cristiano Ronaldo x Nike Mercurial Superfly II Teaser Images & Video

This Thursday, October 28th, Nike will unveil Cristiano Ronaldo’s newest signature boot – the Nike Mercurial Superfly II. Sure to turn some heads this year on the soccer pitch, the shoe will feature the long-lived Safari print covering the entire boot, with a prominent orange Swoosh placed on the upper and a smaller Swoosh on the medial side. The choice of colorway is interesting to say the very least, as this marks one of the truly rare occasions where a legendary Nike-specific design element made prominent by streetwear will be used on a strict performance shoe like the Mercurial Superfly II. Also included in this preview is a teaser video in which a top-secret package containing the new Ronaldo boot is being transported overseas from Nike’s most top secret offices in Beaverton, OR, with a cameo appearance by legendary Nike designer and Safari-print originator, Tinker Hatfield. More information will be unveiled on October 28th, but in the meantime, take a look at the preview images of the all-new Nike Mercurial Superfly II after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates coming soon.
