Kobe Bryant recently stated in an interview that he would beat LeBron James in a game of one-on-one. The Black Mamba was bold in saying, “I’d win, I’d win. That’s what I do. One on one … that’s easy for me, you know. Playing one on one is how I grew up playing; it’s like my thing.” And in case you missed it, Kobe has a knack for winning with a team too, having just completed a fistful of NBA championship rings courtesy of the Lakers’ hated nemesis, the Boston Celtics. LA-based streetwear giants Undefeated cranked out special tees for each of the Lake Show’s three consecutive NBA Finals runs and are launching a preemptive strike against the My-hammy Heat this preseason. ‘BRING THE HEAT’ is a simple challenge, one that Kobe and company will be tested on come their Christmas Day showdown against the Heat. Look for the South Beach-bashing tee at all UNDFTD locations and online this Friday.

The Nike Air Foamposite One in the Royal colorway is easily considered the greatest sneakers of all time despite having a swoosh the size of tiny paper-clip on the forefoot of the shoe. The minimalistic branding worked just fine with the Foamposite One because the shoe itself was a spectacle in itself; Nike (or any other brand for that matter) had never done anything like Foamposite before, and the introduction of Foam also fell at a time during which Nike started to break away as the be-all end-all of basketball performance sneakers. Re-issue number four will arrive in early 2011 so make sure you have some Christmas money left over to cop these once these drop – although some overseas sneaker retailers have had these early. Take another look at the 2011 Retro version of the Nike Air Foamposite One in Dark Neon Royal after the jump and let us know if these are a must-have for you. via jordan8420.

After years of purists dismissing their ‘Ape Jordan’ origins, Gourmet may have gotten the last laugh versus Nike. The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Heineken’ is a legendary pair precisely because of the German beermaker effectively ending its distribution by issuing Nike Inc. a cease and desist letter. It’s pretty obvious collaborations have become considerably more prevalent in the seven years since the Hiney Dunks dropped, and now their world famous lager’s logo appears fully authorized on the lateral ankle of these new Heineken x Gourmet Quattro C hightops. As indicated by the ‘C’, these joints feature a canvas upper whose all-black ankle patch adds a bit of tonal depth, while white laces and soles add contrast and just a hint of green on the heel tab shouts out the bottle after which they’re designed. Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these Gourmet x Heineken collabo kicks.

The last Size? 10th Anniversary was a real treat for fans of Nike ACG, as it featured the the Nike Lunar Air 180 in a colorway taken from the origial Air Terra ACG. The next project should light up the eyes of Puma collectors, as the Puma Dallas will arrive in two great colorways. In partnership with Puma and Sneakers N Stuff, the Size? x SNS x Puma Dallas features colorways inspired by military attire – the SNS-designed olive green canvas taken from the Swedish military issue M90 camouflage and the navy blue and red from Size? a tribute to the royal marines of the UK. The Size? x Sneakers N Stuff x Puma Dallas collaboration is scheduled to released on November 13th, so check out the extra preview shots after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more information.

“I got all this cos I’m faaaaast!”
When you watch this new Slim Chin video by adidas Basketball, be mindful of the fact that actor/comedian Ken Jeong is not just a comedic genius, but a doctor! Jeong graduated from Duke and got his MD at UNC, so he’s probably one of the brightest guys you’ll ever see telling a joke for cash, and he has a simple formula for how you too can live in the lap of luxury: SPEED. In Slim Chin’s latest spot, he’s seen leaving Kenny Powers’ ambitions for excess in the dust with a solid gold jetski taking laps in a caviar-filled swimming pool. What does that have to do with Three Stripes slasher Derrick Rose? The Chicago Bulls point guard is among the fleetest of feet in the NBA, and you can see just how that quickness translates through his new adidas adiZero Rose into riches by clicking the jump below for the full video.

Earlier today, Sneaker News showed you a sneak peak at the Metallic Pewter Nike Air Foamposite One in shots both outside and side-by-side with the OG Dark Neon Royal pair. All teasing aside, these have gotta be up there with some of the most beloved Foam colorways, with the satiny matte finished upper perfectly resembling the metal from which they get their name. These are scheduled to hit retailers in Spring 2011 along with the OGs, and just as is the case with that already iconic colorway, these joints are inevitably going to pop up early from select retailers. Case in point: you can already grab sizes 8-12 somewhere between 3-6 months early (official release date TBA) from Marquee Sole, so check out the detailed gallery after the jump and let us know what you think of this metallic colorway.

The Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience is exclusive to New York’s 21 Mercer Street Nike Sportswear flagship store (and of course a brief cameo at Nike Harajuku in Tokyo). It’s so incredibly fun to have nearly unlimited control over ultra-premium materials that Italian Matthew Lauretti has made not one but two trips to NYC with the expressed goal of copping new Bespokes! Part due for Lauretti showcases how wide the materials options really are on AF1 Bespokes, with these joints mixing large-gauge perforated leather, croc skin, waxed denim and nubuck in a colorway that could best be represented by ‘Toronto Raptors’. Check out more shots after the jump and let us know how these rank against the best Bespokes.

When you think of skate videos, fisheye lenses and underground hip-hop come to mind. The cameraman is typically riding himself, often with the lens held low so you can catch the tricks from near ground level. This sort of perspective not only lends a signature aesthetic but magnifies the significance of most tricks, something that apparently can be beautifully achieved with a more cinematic approach. In Paul Rodriguez‘ “It’s Different on My Mountain” spot for his sponsor Mountain Dew, P-Rod is seen skating in a variety of locales with crisp visuals, the climax of which is an extended shot that leaves you guessing till the end. Click the jump below to see the full vid and stick with Sneaker News for more on the Nike SB P-Rod IV.

2010 has been so jam packed full of Foamposite technology that it’s spilling over into 2011. Still ahead of its time even 13 years after the initial release, the Nike Air Foamposite One is set to retro in its OG Dark Neon Royal colorway and this brand new edition dubbed Metallic Pewter. The satiny shade of silvery grey is absolutely perfect, and unless wearing metal shoes wasn’t the type of thing that’d get you committed, people might actually think they’re cast in pewter. And while Foamposite is known to improve its conforming fit on your foot as it warms up, these kicks are great about avoiding creases unlike the super-malleable metal they’re colored after. Check out these new teaser pics courtesy of Marquee Sole‘s contribution to the Sneaker News Blogs, where you’ll find a bunch of outdoor photos of the Metallic Pewter and Dark Neon Royal Foamposite Ones.
