All of Reebok’s marketing strategies of 2010 have been successful in a sense that the brand has regained our attention in more ways than one. It’s back on the basketball scene, after it signed number-one pick John Wall to an endorsement deal, and also touched on fashion circles with it’s collaboration with Emporio Armani. How does it spark the interest of the ‘hip’ crowd? Employ none other than Terry Richardson, the iconic New-York based photographer with a flair for the daring and trademark flash exposure. In this campaign that was published in Vice magazine, Terry Richardson did his usual sublime work with a focus on Reebok Classics like the Paris Runner and the CL Nylon an the new joints from the Reebok Fly Generation like the Ree Down and Ree Funk. In a year that’s seen adidas Originals and its ObyO collaborators offering all kinds of new lifestyle oriented designs, it’s reassuring to see Three Stripes dig into the vaults to preserve the classic models. The adidas Torsion SP is a trail runner that’s been around nearly as long as Nike’s All Conditions Gear division, and this new colorway has a sort of timeless quality about it. And that’s not because they’re like so many of the other classically styled two-tone and other simple colorways that have dominated 2010, but rather because the combination of navy, kelly green and orange has a washed out/aged look next to the light grey base. Check out more images of this elder statesman of the outdoors and grab a pair from fellow Germans, Schuh-You.

One of the more curious partnerships of this year has been the Emporio Armani x Reebok EA7 Collection; the high-end fashion label teamed up with the athletic apparel outfitter to introduce a collection of sleek lifestyle silhouettes with Reebok’s comfort and technology. Shoes like the Pump Vintage Mid utilizes Reebok Pump on a mid-cut street-wear lifestyle shoe, while the sportier Pump 7 Running shoe aptly combines athletics and aesthetics from both labels. the Emporio Armani x Reebok EA7 Footwear collection just hit stores so take a look at the gallery after the jump and head over to Reebok to cop a pair. via HS.

Wait, isn’t John Wall with Reebok? Well, Nike was a possible destination. Nike’s courtship of the number-one overall selection of the 2010 NBA Draft included this Player Exclusive of the Nike Hyperfuse in blue, black, and white, with a a special JW11 Nike PE Logo on the outer ankle collar. It’s clear that Nike had its targets set on John Wall but obviously there was a higher bidder in the mix. These size 12.5 samples were made just for John Wall but you can count on these never seeing the light of day now that Wall will be wearing the Reebok Zig Slash on the court. Take another look at John Wall’s Hyperfuse PE and pick up this rare pair of kicks from forces_whitaker on eBay.

With fewer and fewer AJF releases as time goes on, it’s starting to seem like the CMFT Air hybrid series has taken the Air Jordan Force Fusion collection’s place at Jordan Brand. Here’s a look at the first leather colorway of this mashup based in summer 1997, the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 LTR. These upcoming releases combine the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ immortal white-on-black leather sunray design and apply it to a lowtop that rides a University Blue Nike Air Max 97 sole. An impressive look that suggests the CMFT lineup has a bunch of quality looks in store, and perhaps more materials will be on the way. We’ve seen leather, a mesh material, and even a snake-skin print mudguard. What else in store? Continue reading for another look at at this latest CMFT Max Air 12 and stick with Sneaker News for more updates and information for all Jordan brand releases. Thanks to Kickz101.

Green means ‘Go’, as in ‘go’ cop a pair when these drop. Why? Well, the color green rarely ever makes its way on an Air Jordan shoe, and when it does, it’s set aside for use in trimming and contrast. Rarely ever is it the primary display of an Air Jordan shoe (unless your name is Ray Allen). Well, for this colorway of the Air Jordan II – one-third of the Halloween Eve-releasing Air Jordan II Candy Pack – the upper is completely green on the nubuck, synthetic leather mudguard, and pebble-textured synthetic leather upper, with black acting as the contrast color. This is truly a one-of-a-kind release in an age when Jordan Brand has not been shy about colorways and Retro models, so take a good look at this upcoming colorway after the jump and cop these when they hit Jordan Brand retailers on October 30th. via Dunk.

A new NikeStore opened in Incheon, South Korea this May, and like all Swoosh flagships, the Incheon spot has its fair share of impressive displays. Perhaps none is more unique or valuable as the Nike Basketball ‘locker room’ in the 3rd floor lounge that features what might be the most neglected TV in SE Asia. That’s cos you’re not likely to care about what’s on the tube when you can come face to face with autographed kicks from the two greatest shooting guards of the last quarter-century. Inside display case pedestals are signed copies of the Air Jordan VI and XI Defining Moments Pack, along with the home and away versions of the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Big Stage’. Gold sharpie marks on these pairs remind one of the eleven NBA championships and three Olympic gold medals shared between Michael and Kobe, and you can see more of the Nike Incheon store display when you click the jump below. via IST.
