The Nike, adidas and Li-Ning US headquarters are all in the beautiful state of Oregon, but only one of those huge global brands can say their campuses are truly everywhere. The adidas Originals Campus 80s has been a staple as long as its name suggests, and this pair delivers on the potential for simple elegance its classic design. Featuring black leather stripes and heel tabs atop an aqua suede base, these have a bit of Un-Tiffany flare to them, and the ultra vivid blue/green looks amazing next to the high-contrast black and white accents. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select adidas Originals retailers including Schuh-You.

It’s like hitting the rewind button to the earlier part of the 2000′s with this new women’s colorways. The basic color combination of Anthracite and Orion Blue on a white midsole is something you’d see as a GR release from 2003 – in fact, there was a pair of women’s Dunks in a similar colorway, but not surprisingly larger sizes are hard to find. This new 2010 colorway takes a simple colorway and adds a touch of glittered patent leather on the rear heel. Check out the details of this new Dunk High and hit up Dr. Jay’s, one of the East Coast’s most reputable streetwear retailers, for your pair today.

Nike was the first major sneaker company to branch out into skateboarding footwear and apparel, and Nike SB was such a huge hit, Three Stripes followed suit and established adidas Skate. And now with the Swoosh adding snowboarding as the ‘other SB’, it looks like we might see more majors carving up the slopes. New Balance and 686 have been working together for some time, and now it’s perhaps the biggest name in all of snowboarding working together with adidas Originals.
The Burton x adidas Originals Superstar features a clean-as-can-be navy and white colorup that’s spruced up with a brown leather tongue tag, whereas their Vulc Mid goes the panda bear route. Both feature D-ring eyelets for that rugged mountain look, but the premium suede and leather construction is quite smooth. It doesn’t stop there, as adidas and Burton has also produced a slick line of apparel that combines adidas’ classic styling with the surf/snow street-look, with jackets, tees, thermals, trackpants, and more with a special adidas Originals x Burton Glühwein label and other unique branding touches. Check out the entire Burton x adidas Originals Footwear and Apparel collection after the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for more adidas Originals collaborations.

Kazuki Kuraishi’s adidas Orignals ObyO capsule has offered a definite, if hard to define niche within Three Stripes’ lifestyle sneaker offerings. They’re not overwhealmingly ostentatious like Jeremy Scott’s designs, nor as sporty as James Bond and David Beckham’s looks, but the KZK adidas drops are as distinct as this new pair’s name. The Kazuki x adidas Originals Gipfel offers a strange moniker for a shoe whose design elements are strangely familiar. Lacking obvious similarities to preexisting adidas models, the Gipfel is something like a cross between the Top Ten and a sole that might make you think of the Air Jordan III sans Air. All at once conventional and brand-new, the adidas Gipfel will be available at select adidas Originals retailers soon. via SdG

When you’re a young kid, being in school can seem super tedious. You gotta stick it out and most of us actually enjoy learning, but if we’re being honest, who hasn’t wished their class would just turn off the lights and put on a movie? Well, if you got lucky enough to be wearing these new Nike Air Max 90 GSes at the time, your feet might draw their own share of onlookers. With a navy and white design adding neon CMY accents, these AM90s are somewhat unassuming in normal light, but when darkness falls, the glow-in-the-dark laces make these a special pair. Check out more shots below and grab a pair from Kickscrew.

The weeks have been flying by so it might be tough to keep up with all the happenings in the world of kicks, so it’s tough to find one source of information that’ll give you a summary of all that went down. Luckily for you, Sneaker News has got that down to a science, so let’s begin! In Air Jordan news, some interesting changes to the upcoming Altitude XIII were revealed, causing some interesting debate. However, the White/Cement Jordan III will return unaltered, which resulted in cheers across the board. The Air Jordan 1 Banned re-emerged, as did sample of the Sky Jordan – the Air Jordan 1′s ‘little sibling’. Last week the Doernbecher Jordan III was unveiled, so Sneaker News gave you a thorough look at the rest of the gorgeous six-pair collection.
In basketball news, the Royal Foamposite Ones popped up with a pre-order, and as we inch closer to the release of the LeBron 8 Pre-Heat, Sneaker News gave you a complete detailed look at the shoe. While LeBron will be making an appearance tomorrow at the new House of Hoops in Miami, he spent most of the week playing some pre-season ball, as Sneaker News gave you a complete look at all the NBA Pre-season kicks (with some celebs on the side). Nike SB introduced some new October releases as well some treats for 2011, and we also got a look at the Grey Perf Pack – though the three were sold separately. What isn’t being sold at all is the Solebox x adidas Then & Now Package, which featured one of the best two-pair package set-ups ever. Finally, some great sneaker-related events went down – Sneakerness in Vienna, Sneaker Pimp in LA, and the ‘Four Point Play’ at Packer Shoes in NJ, and Sneaker News provided some great recaps of all three. Of course, the biggest event will go down tomorrow, as Sneaker Con October 2010 will open its doors. Take a load off and get caught up in the world of kicks with this week’s Sneaker News Weekly Rewind.

High-flying acrobatics, brightly colored costumes, funky head-hugging masks – what else could you ask for? Lucha Libre is more than just a regional style of wrestling, it’s a traditional activity of Mexico that goes back to the 1930′s that has permeated American pop-culture. With top American pro-wrestling stars and even feature comedy films surrounding “Free Wrestling”, Lucha Libre is celebrated nationwide – and serves as the basis for this custom pair of Nike Dunk Highs.
Of course, a Lucha Libre Pack was done by Nike back in 2006, but none of those three releases rival the detail of this custom pair. C2Customs is responsible for this work of art, as it uses red and white stars and stripes with a carnival font on the heel that reads the name of the person who requested this great custom concept, but it’s the altered tongue, shaped and cut out to appear like a Lucha Libre mask, that puts this custom near the top. Take another look at the Nike Dunk High Lucha Libre Custom by C2Customs after the jump and let us know what you think. via paintorthread.

Tomorrow, October 16th, marks the release date of the Nike LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’ (also nicknamed the ‘Pre-Heat’), a shoe that introduces and firmly establishes LeBron James’ footwear strategy into the Miami-an culture. The release of this shoe will coincide with the grand opening of the brand new Foot Locker House of Hoops retail spot, located inside the Foot Locker store in Dadeland Mall. LeBron James will also attend as part of a special event in which he will address 100 youths and will culminate his appearance with the long-anticipated release of the Miami Vice-inspired LeBron 8. These are in fact slated to release in wider availability in November, but for those who are in the Miami area, get yourself to the new House of Hoops in Dadeland Mall tomorrow and do your best to get a pair! If you’re outside of the Miami region, look for them at Osneaker soon.

The most recognizable feature of the Air Jordan XI is the patent leather that surrounds the mudguard, emanating the unmistakable aura of luxury and suave. Another trademark of the shoe is the carbon fiber plate, located at the arch of the foot. Sole Collector celebrates the introduction of carbon fiber to the Air Jordan Legacy by appointing the material as the master of this special colorway of the Jordan CMFT 11. It features a synthetic carbon fiber weave mudguard, paired with jet-black mesh upper, white midsole, grey heel, and a translucent bottom sole, while the magazine’s signature color of purple is placed acutely on the Jordan branding on the bottom sole and tongue tab, with a special ‘SC’ on the heel where the ’23′ once was.
The Sole Collector x Jordan CMFT 11 SC is surely a one-of-a-kind collaboration and the rarity of this partnership is reflected by the limited nature of this release; only two known release points are established – Nike Santa Monica in Santa Monica, CA and Nike Roosevelt Field in Long Island, NY – and twenty-three of these pairs will come with a special lasered carbon-fiber box. Continue reading for a detailed gallery of the Sole Collector x Jordan CMFT 11 SC and let us know what you think.

With all the camouflaged kicks out now, it wouldn’t be too terribly shocking if Jeremy Scott or Nike SB came out with a ghillie suit shoe. This month is a busy one for hunters across America, so we’ve seen SB and Vans both employ Bill Jordan’s Realtree camo print, but Off the Wall is getting away from sincere crypsis in favor of celebrating the classics. With these new Vans 106 lowtops, you get two classic camouflage looks, one in browns with rocky details to mimic the desert, with the other your traditional four-color jungle look. Somewhere between the upcoming Bodega x Realtree x Vans Chukka and their San Diego Padres Old Skool, these new Vans releases just hit Mischief over in Japan, so stick with Sneaker News for word on a stateside drop.

Loyal Sneaker News reader and Air Force 1 fanatic Big Troy recently had a special event to celebrate, and his new bride surprised him with an Air Force 1 Low sneaker cake in a colorway borrowed from the central motif for their wedding ceremony. The Air Force 1 is a simple shoe but does possess a great deal of detail, and the end result did not disappoint one bit. The upper features a glossy patent leather-like finish with a white midsole and orange outsole, and the proportions are extremely well done as is the Nike box-tag. What it must feel like to have a wife not only accept your sneaker craze, but to embrace it with a special cake! A big congratulations goes out to Big Troy and his new bride, because this is one of the best cakes we’ve seen! Check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know what you think.
