There’s a ‘Rainbow Pack’ Nike Dunk High on the way for the Holiday 2010 season that uses a unique scored finish on a glossy synthetic leather material that gives off the look of a blacked-out disco ball. The Dunk High ‘Rainbow’ was the first time we saw said material, but it clearly won’t be the last time. Here’s a new Nike WMNS Air Max 90 with the same scored material everywhere except for the eyestay/toebox section, a look that enhances the contrast between black and select Vivid Pink accents. Click the jump below for more images and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers including SneakersNStuff.

It’s safe to say that Vans’ primary focus has been on men, but this heartfelt collaboration between the Californian skate-shoe brand and Erin Magee of MadeMe is a true sign that the crew over at Vans has the ladies in mind. This collaborative project features the Vans Camryn and Wellesley with a design motif inspired by the late 80′s/early 90′s New York City music/fashion scene. Another great aspect about this special release is the box in which the shoes come packaged it; the outer faces of the box are plastered with vintage Interview magazine scans and drawings. Continue reading for a full gallery of images of this great duet of Vans women’s releases! Thanks to Nitrolicious.

With so much to celebrate, spirits were high last night in NJ in anticipation of the Packer Shoes x Fila FX-100 collaboration in-store release. Packer is proudly celebrating over 100 years in the footwear game and Fila will hit the century mark next year. To further sweeten the party, New York b-ball fan-favorite, Larry Johnson, who wore the FX-100 as a Knick was brought into the mix with four colorways of the shoe created to honor his legendary 4-point play. The FX-100 was a street-style staple for many in the 80′s and early 90′s, and the nostalgia factor brought out plenty of folks who have been daydreaming of getting their hands on a crisp new pair after such a long drought. And of course, an appearance by a former hometown hero didn’t hurt.
Despite a nasty rainy night in NJ, a wall to wall crowd still filled the shop and LJ couldn’t have been happier to mix it up with everyone and bask in the love. Larry was incredibly outgoing and eager to interact with the fans and kept his marker moving all night, as he signed shoes, boxes, posters, basketballs and more, all with a smile on his face and a non-stop stream of one-liners and friendly jabs flowing. Those in attendance were also treated to free stickers, posters and bottles of LJ’s new Grandmama’s Tea iced tea, so there was plenty to keep the mob happy as they waited for their chance to purchase their FX-100′s and get some facetime with Larry. Keep reading for a ton of pics from the event and stay tuned for our 1 on 1 interview with LJ coming soon.

It’s been a nearly a month since Sneaker News showed you an Air Force 1 Bespoke design out of Nike Harajuku; the last pair out of Nike’s Japanese retail spot was one inspired by a pair of denim jeans and the one before that was a crazy mix of colors, designs, and materials. This latest one – eleventh overall – features elephant print on the toe box with grey suede on the rear panel, while the rest of the colorway takes a Carnival-like inspiration as it uses a mish-mash of colors like yellow, red, blue, and orange. The color-blocking’s a lot easier on the eyes and the white toe-box and center panel acts as a perfect base for this color-rich design. Less is certainly more, isn’t it? Take another look at this finished Bespoke product out of Nike Harajuku and let us know what you think.

This new colorway of the Air Max TR1+ combines the serious nature of a brown-shoe and the fun of rainbow-coloring, but neither seems to undermine the other. In fact, work and play seem to mesh well in this Air Max TR1+, sort of like the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Madden ’11 meets the Playstation 3 x Nike Trainer 1. The large-volume Air in vivid pink sits below the rich brown upper, and the bottom sole reveals a rainbow gradient as well. Take a look at the detailed shots of this new Air Max TR1+ colorway and hit up Nikestore as they just became available for purchase.

BREAKING NEWS:
Earlier this year Sneaker News confirmed the re-release of the
Air Jordan XIII (13) Retro in Black/Altitude Green. However, the 2010 version comes with one noticeable alteration; the upper of the shoe is constructed with the mesh material seen in
Air Jordan XIII Flint instead of leather that was used in the original version. The pebbled material on the heel and smoother leather on the toe and tongue remain. This drastic change in material will surely stir some level of debate, and for those who considered passing on this release (whether that decision was based on having the shoe already or not being fond of the original), it looks like some reconsideration might need to be done. Continue reading for a detailed look at the 2010 version for the
Air Jordan XIII Altitude and cop a select pair early from
Osneaker as they have a few available ready for a late-October ship-date.

Dwayne Wade’s contribution at Marquette University was so significant that the Golden Eagles were sucked up by the gargantuan Big East basketball conference when it realigned in 2005. D-Wade continues to give back to the Milwaukee, WI-based school, this time in the form of performance basketball footwear. The Air Jordan 2010 Team Marquette PE will be seen this season on the feet of Darius Johnson-Odom and the rest of the Eagles when they play at the Bradley Center this season. These joints look pretty much exactly as you’d expect given the AJ2010 Team’s construction and Maruqette’s colors, and you can’t help but notice that these would be just as good as a Cal Golden Bears PE if the eyestay debossing were different. Click the jump below for more and stick with Sneaker News for the latest in NBA and NCAA basketball player exclusives.

Regarded as one of the best Air Jordans of all time, the Air Jordan III in White/Cement Grey will quell a few demands once Spring 2011 rolls around, as the White Cement IIIs will re-release once again. When a Jordan model is re-issued, one of the most common complaints is “the last one had Nike Air on it”. That argument can’t be applied to this shoe because although the originals did feature the Nike branding on the heel, the last Retro in 2003 featured the Jumpman Air logo. The use of materials stays consistent with the ’03 version as well, as the combination of smooth and tumbled leathers on the upper manages to pull off the 2003-look quite well. Take a look at these new detailed images of this upcoming release and pre-order your pair now at rmkstore.

Sneaker News gave you an exclusive look at the upcoming Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low early this month, and now here’s a whole ‘nother range of colorways to examine. As with most of the Hyperfuses we’ve seen so far, mid or low, these joints all take advantage of the highly textured Fuse mesh upper to make the most of what would normally be considered ‘simple’ colorways. Take for example the all-orange joints that have a bit of the ‘Creamsicle’ vibe about them. This shoe features exactly two colors spread across three shades, but the range of orange tones you get from the intricate shadowing is more or less infinite, and atop a translucent outsole, these joints are like fireballs for your feet. Click the jump below to see all seven new colorways, including a Deron Williams PE that uses the Utah Jazz’ new/old color scheme. via MN

It’s no great overstatement to call Lance Armstrong “The Michael Jordan of cycling”. Seven consecutive Tour de France titles stacks up pretty well against MJ’s six straight titles (*in full seasons), and Lance’ll see your Flu Game and raise you an awe-inspiring defeat over cancer! And Lance is only the second athlete we’ve seen whose signature sneaker collection looks to continue even as he transitions into retirement. The latest Swoosh release to benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation is this new LIVESTRONG x Nike Free Run. You already know it’s going to have yellow with some black or white in there somewhere, but the select placement of the leader’s jersey color offers a subtle approach to the Free Run’s radical design. Check out more shots after the jump and grab yours today from NikeStore.
