Ray Allen’s sneaker game during his NBA career has been well-documented over the years. There’s been nothing but Air Jordan heat on his feet for over a decade, and being one of the original members of Team Jordan will earn you some sick Player Exclusive colorways. Somehow the color green ended up on every NBA team Ray Allen’s ever played for, starting with the Bucks, to the Sonics and Celtics, so all of his Air Jordan PEs have had that as the common denominator. Here’s a look at a Home colorway of the Air Jordan XII PE for Ray Allen; featuring a white leather upper with the deep, rich green on the mudguard and bottom sole with yellow accents, the Sonics-specific colorway would be eaten up instantly if they ever hit shelves. Continue reading for a nice gallery of images as well as throwback in-game shots of Ray wearing these exact PEs after the jump and cop this rare pair from qkro23 on eBay.

You’d think the most anticipated releases of the year had finite release dates, but with the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection, it’s been tough to track down. There hasn’t been half a breath regarding a U.S. release date of the Air Jordan VII Premio but some spots in France have already released them. One confirmed spot for our Sneaker News readers in Asia? Where else but Nike Harajuku in Japan? With just 2,059 pairs in production, availability is likely to be limited so if you’re in the area, don’t get there a second too late because they’ll all be gone by then. Check out the extra images after the jump and if you’re not in the Harajuku area (or in the same hemisphere), get yours now on eBay.

It’s not often you see a his-and-hers release side by side, but the Nike Air Royal Mid Harris Tweed Pack is an exception – partly due to the reason that the men’s pair and women’s pair have no real differentiation. These are certainly one of the most interesting kicks of 2010, with brown molded leather on the toe, a leather-wrapped midsole, and Harris Tweed on the upper as well as the tongue, but as we’ve stated time and time again, the Air Royal Mid has been conducive some interesting experiments and designs. It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Harris Tweed on a Nike shoe, so if you want to be part of the Harris Tweed x Nike reunion, head over to CaliRoots to pick up either the mens and womens pair.

We know Michael Jordan tried his hand in baseball during his first retirement, but did he have another court-sport in mind? Here’s a look at a rare hybrid sample combining the upper of a Nike Tennis trainer and the bottom sole of the Air Jordan X. This sample is dates back to 1997, which is well after Jordan’s initial return to the game, but people over at the Beaverton labs had something in mind when this sample was made (or someone must have been really, really bored). Take a look at this rare Nike Tennis x Air Jordan X sample after the jump and let us know how you think Michael Jordan would have done in tennis. Pete Sampras vs. Michael Jordan in tennis would’ve been the same as Michael Jordan vs. the entire league in basketball, right?

The Nike Trainer SC 2010 was designed with the original Air Trainer SC in mind, so it was only fitting that a special tribute to Bo Jackson be made. We first saw the ‘Baseball Glove’ colorway of the Trainer SC 2010 earlier this year, and not long ago Sneaker News showed you three new colorways of the Trainer SC 2010 in lux colorways and materials. With tan and brown pairs feature tonal leather uppers with color with colorways matching footballs and baseball gloves, while the team red pair features a rich suede mudguard with Obsidian accents – just like Auburn’s school colors. Take another at the Nike Trainer SC 2010 Premium ‘Bo Knows’ Pack after the jump and pick up any of the three colorways from Sneaker Bistro.

Camouflage print might be the most ironic design-work in the history of apparel and sneakers, as it does quite a job at making one stand out. Of course, camo print wasn’t meant for city streets, but it does one helluva job at attracting the right attention. This latest Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke done by Mayor features a tonal camouflage print on the upper with a solid white midsole and a gum bottom sole, with a matching perforated camel-brown leather inner lining. No amount of camouflage will do any good in hiding Mayor’s status as a sneakerhead so take a look at his latest Bespoke design after the jump and let us know what you think. To come up with your own Air Force 1 project, hit up 21 Mercer in lower Manhattan to make a reservation.

With the historic New York City Marathon just two Sundays away, Nike Running has teamed up with long-time Nike purveyor West NYC of the Upper West Side to create a limited edition Friend & Family collection of Nike runners both classic and contemporary as well as Nike Running apparel for men and women. The silhouettes chosen are the Air Max 1, the first ever Nike shoe with visible Air, and the Nike Lunarglide+ 2, Nike’s latest Lunar-cushioned runner featuring Dynamic Support and FitSole, two spot-on choices to pay homage to the traditional sporting event with international relevance.
Each colorway of the shoes in this commemorative pack is inspired by the rich and copious colors of NYC’s Central Park during the marathon season; the sea of trees and fauna and the decadent tones of the sunset over the Manhattan skyline are just some of the inspirational pillars of this limited edition pack, with a West NYC Running Club set of hoodies and sweatshirts also being part of this one-of-a-kind collaboration. Just 26 pairs of each shoe will be available in a raffle-style release – and the only way to enter into the West NYC x Nike Running sweepstakes is to purchase a piece of apparel. Take a look at the entire West NYC x Nike Running Friends & Family Collection after the jump and hit up WEST to get yours!

Yi Jianlian was the representative for his home country of China during the 2010 FIBA World Championships. The young 6’11″ forward was highly touted as the ‘Chinese Dirk Nowitzki’ upon entering the league, and after bouncing around a few teams, Yi has found a home in Washington D.C., playing alongside rookie John Wall and a nice collection of young talents. During FIBA tournament play, Yi Jianlian was seen wearing a bright-red and yellow pair of the Hyperdunk 2010, but now a more color-specific pair will be seen on his feet during the Wizards’ 2010-11 campaign. Take a look at Yi’s Hyperdunk 2010 PE after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Basketball PE updates as the season rolls on!

Every adventurous time-travel based movie made in history features some old wise man warning the protagonist about not changing anything in the past, for the present will be altered greatly. Of course, some good can come out of it, like when Marty McFly finally returns home only to see Biff waxing his parents’ car, or when Homer Simpson returns to an alternate universe in which his Patty and Selma are dead and a rainstorm means being showered with donuts. For the Nike V-Series, the classic runners collection returns to present time, but with a completely revived chassis and upper – a contemporary version of the Vortex, Vengeance, and Vector featuring Lunar soles, sonic-welded mesh uppers, and super-sleek styling. Not to worry, because the OGs will return as well, so take another look at the upcoming Nike V-Series as well as another peek at the Lunar Vengeance and let us know which pair you’d like to see on your feet! via project4000.
