Chris Brown continues to try and rebuild his public image after a troublesome year in 2009, the R&B singer will be releasing his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E., in the upcoming months, which features the number 1 single, “Deuces”. Brown was in Washington D.C. this past weekend for the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge Presented By Audi and sang the National Anthem at the event. He also participated in the inaugural event as he was seen jogging, playing soccer, shooting hoops, and mingling with participants during the day long event. Brown was seen wearing a Red tracksuit with Audi branding and a pair of matching Air Jordan XIII Retro’s in White, Black, and Varsity Red which are set to be released in December of this year.

Brandon Roy is one of those rare NBA pros that went a full four years in college before making the jump to the “gettin’ paid” level. Of the 24 NBA All-Stars who participated in the 2010 NBA All-star Game in Dallas, Brandon Roy was just one of four players who attended four years of college – Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, and David Lee being the other three. Not that Brandon Roy wasn’t NBA ready, because he was certainly a first-round draft pick when he first considered the NBA Draft after his Junior year at Washington, but he felt there was much more for him to do in college. Smart move, because he was just named to his second straight All-NBA Team last May and is regarded as one of the best shooting guards in the league. One of Nike’s earliest running shoe models is the Nike Air Pegasus, and following the original model came a number of sequels and special editions. You are probably familiar with the Air Pegasus ’89 as it was a popular Retro release last year, but a shoe that doesn’t get much shine is the Air Pegasus ’92. With design elements taken from the Air Max ST of the same year, the Air Pegasus ’92 featured a two-toned midsole with a synthetic heel plate. There’s a lot more to the Pegasus line than you might remember – the Air Pegasus Racer, All/Terrain, the 10th Anniversary edition – but the return of the ’92 for the Spring/Summer 2011 season is one history lesson worth looking forward to. Will there be a Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Six Rings’? Definitely on the right path, as the Los Angeles Lakers started the season with a win over the Houston Rockets. The Concord Kobe VI will be a Home staple (at Staples) just like the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Inline’ was early last season. In the Black/Grey/Del Sol colorway, the Flywire was hidden under the black snakeskin upper, but for the white-uppered Concords, you can clearly see the inner Flywire workings of the shoe. Michael Jordan and the Air Jordan1 needed a hard exterior to deflect all the criticism and “hate” he received during the earlier part of his career. His sneakers were banned by the league and Isiah Thomas tried to “teach him a lesson” during the 1985 All-Star game by conspiring with fellow All-Stars to keep the ball away from a young MJ. Of course, we all know that Jordan returned the favor in 1992. adidas has hooked up with scalding hot funny-man Ken Jeong to represent adidas’ newest signature shoes with their marquee representatives, and according to Jeong’s character Slim Chin, “you get his shoe, you get fast too…and it’s sing-song time.” Wearing Dwight Howard’s adidas TS Beast may not result in a piano-duet with the Orlando Center but the TS Beast is very lightweight for a big-man’s shoe, allowing for the  surprisingly lithe seven-footer to work his magic down low with ease. It’s atypical for a sneaker designed for someone Dwight’s size to be praised for its “fast” capabilities but adidas has pushed the envelope with the adidas TS Beast, so take a look at the hilarious advertisement featuring Slim Chin and Dwight Howard after the jump.

The NBA Season had it’s official Opening Night on Tuesday but yesterday night’s contests were part of a league-wide season opening with almost every NBA team getting in action. In this segment of NBA Feet, we get a look at some early-season kicks, and we’re not surprised at many of the selections. Shoes like the uber-comfortable Nike Hyperfuse and Nike Hyperdunk 2010 were the norm, and we should expect some more Reebok Zig Slash sightings as the season moves forward. In the sig-shoe department, Kevin Garnett, Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Baron Davis, Evan Turner, and Derrick Rose showed off their personal best, but it was Nate Robinson, who knows a little something about scene-stealing, who earned the spotlight as he wore the Air Jordan XI Space Jam.
