“A Rebel without a cause”…but with a sick design of an Air Force 1. Shahendra Ohneswhere is the latest designer in the Air Force 1 Bespoke spotlight, but with a bit of irony, the self-proclaimed ‘Rebel’ – noted by the customized lace dubrae – keeps it conventional in this Bespoke effort. Featuring a black two-toned denim upper with white constrast stitching, pink suede on the tongue and heel stripe, a camel brown inner lining, and a solid white midsole on a black outsole, Shahendra’s design is quite unrebellious but supremely gorgeous from head to toe. Take a detailed look at this latest Air Force 1 Bespoke design after the jump and head to Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer to make your Bespoke reservation.

If Russell Westbrook calls himself “Why Not?”, his teammate Kevin Durant should name himself “Sure Thing” for a) being such a friendly and agreeable person and b) for being a lock for 30 points a game. Kevin Durant was the league’s most proficient scorer last season and dropped another 30 in the season opener last night, and with some Playoff appearances and a winning attitude under his belt, Kevin Durant is closest to a ‘Sure Thing’ you’ll get. Before Durant debuts the Nike Zoom KD III, you might see him rocking this sweet white/blue/orange colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE, featuring a white upper, blue collar with his PE logo, and orange accents. Take another peek after the jump and let us know how far the Oklahoma City Thunder will make it in the 2011 NBA Playoffs! via NikeBasketball.

Kevin Durant was unquestionably the biggest star during USA Basketball’s 2010 FIBA World Championships victory this summer, but his Oklahoma City Thunder teammate made almost as strong a case for himself as an elite point guard. OKC 1 Russell Westbrook gives Durant and the Thunder a legit shot at further improvement and Nike Basketball has recognized ‘Why Not’s own progression by offering him a Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE. These eschew the ‘RW0′ ankle insignias that first appeared on sample pairs and replace it with the ‘Why Not’ script of which Sneaker News gave you an exclusive preview last week. And with this un-Creamcicle colorway so pleasing, why not pick up a pair today from RMKStore.

‘Retroing’ Nike SB Dunks is a hot-button topic of debate – but what’s so bad about releasing the same colorways on different Nike SB models? We just showed you a November 2010 release of the Nike SB Blazer CS in a similar colorway to the Wheat SB Dunk High, and in following that throwback trend is this all-new Nike SB Zoom Bruin in Black and Midnight Fog. The Bruin also features a gum bottom sole (although not visible when planted on the ground) just like the 2005 SB Dunk High of the same colorway, but this surprising tit-for-tat match of the SB Dunk High could lead to more releases of familiar SB colorways of the past – remember, we already showed you a ‘Mulder’ Bruin for Summer 2011. Check out the SB Bruin ‘Fogs’ after the jump and hit up Premier for a pair.

Obsidian navy blue and white is a fairly masculine colorway – Yankee pinstripes, anything naval – but this new women’s pair of the Nike Air Max 90 adds a special touch to give it a feminine boost. while the upper is color-blocked nicely with navy blue and white, the mudguard features an interesting plaid mash-up of blue and a metallic color that wraps around the entire shoe. A simple addition transformed this men’s only pair to a release specific for the ladies – but of course there’s no shame in copping a pair for yourself (just make sure you add one-and-a-half). Check out the extra angles of this new release after the jump and pick up a pair from 95soleman on eBay.

The sleek adidas Fluid Trainer has been available for a while, but here’s our first look at its lowtop design here on Sneaker News. A lifestyle sneaker based upon modern running aesthetics, the Fluid Trainer would be at home in Three Stripes’ SLVR collection. Irrespective of affiliation, these three new colorways are great, not the least of which is sure to be dubbed ‘Tiffany’ by knowledgeable sneakerheads. The other two are super-simple as with many of the season’s best efforts, with two black/grey pairs swapping base/accent roles. Check out more images and look for these soon at adidas Originals retailers here in the states; they just hit Flauge in Japan.

Undefeated might be the biggest name in West Coast streetwear, but fellow LA natives The Hundreds are no slouches, to be sure. Their Adam Bomb logo is perhaps as easy to identify as UNDFTD’s five strikes, and The Hundreds have the upper hand with their own in-house footwear line. And most good sneaker collections these days bring in some outside support, with Bobby Hundreds and co. bringing in the also LA-based artist Jun Cha to design a pair of The Hundreds Johnson Mids. These joints offer the LA skyline across their canvas uppers, their sole keeping with the signature ‘Jags’ traction pattern. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at The Hundreds stores in LA, San Francisco and New York this Friday.

Clarks Orignals Wallabees have taken a backseat to their Desert Boot in recent seasons, so it’s a perfect time for Nike Sportswear to apply a crepe sole to one of their own staple models. Just as with 2004′s AM1 ‘Crepe’, the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Wallabee’ uses a squishy latex sole to give you a bit of the dress shoe feel. This first colorway is supremely classy as well, mixing shades of grey and off-white for a neutral look that’ll lend itself to a white Christmas, no matter whether you’re wearing a Santa suit or just some fresh streetwear. Check out more shots by clicking the jump below and look for these at select NSW retailers like shaolin8 on eBay.

Humidors are typically used to maintain cigars, guitars, baseballs at Colorado’s Coors Field, but sneakers? Building a sneaker-friendly enclave of sorts is a tough task – too dry and they’ll crumble, too humid and they’ll crumble even worse. At least we know there’s something out there for the Nike Zoom Kobe V; check out the limited edition Nike Zoom Kobe V ’5 Rings’ Humidor box, constructed with premium wood and other gold inserts, a built-in humidor, and Black Mamba lasering on the inner face of the box-lid. With this special package comes a special storage bag and a 5 Rings t-shirt, and for $500, this package can be yours exclusively at the Nike Vault in the Staples Center. Take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of the packaging and remember, if you missed out the kicks, you can still get just the Kobe V ’5 Rings’ shoes on eBay.

Earlier this year Sneaker News gave you an exclusive look at an upcoming Nike SB Dunk High in a colorway matching the Marvel Comics superhero Ironman, and given the hype around the Ironman 2 summer blockbuster movie, the preview of the sneaker could not have come at a better time. Arriving at select Nike SB accounts is the Nike SB Dunk High in Team Red, Black, and yellow; some have called this colorway the “Ironman”, other choose to refer to it as the “Un-Lobster”, as it resembles a Nike SB Dunk Low Lobster of 2008. Nicknames aside, this is one sweet colorway in an all-suede upper, so check your local Nike SB accounts soon as Premier just got these in as an in-store only purchase.

What came first, the chicken or the egg? Or in this case, the Air Jordan 1 or the Dunk? Those well versed in Nike history know that the Nike Dunk was the inspiration for the first ever Air Jordan shoe, but the colorway seen on this December 2010 Jordan Brand release can be referred to as the ‘Purple Pigeon’, taken from the 2006 SB Dunk Low colorway of the same name. The front toe-box of this Air Jordan1 Phat Low is constructed with anthracite grey nubuck with a lighter grey shade on the center panel, a black tongue and lace placket, a white ankle collar, and varsity purple on the swoosh and inner lining. Quite a nice combination regardless of what shoe it’s on, so take a look at the detailed gallery courtesy of Dunk after the jump and cop a pair early on eBay.
