One of the first ever Nike SB Dunks to have ever grace the planet was the Wheat colorway of the SB Dunk High. The Reese Forbes-designed Dunk High was just the second SB Dunk High to have released, and its status as a classic is undeniable. Here’s a look at a November 2010 releasing SB Blazer CS in a similar colorway as the Wheats; reliving old colorways is another way to get your retro fix and this custom series Blazer is one way to rock Wheat SBs without having to shell $400+ for a deadstock pair. Sneaker News gave you an exclusive first look of this shoe back in April but now you can find these at your local SB account – Premier already has theirs in stock. More images await you after the jump so check ‘em out and let us know what you think of the ‘Wheat’ Blazer CS.

So much for the Miami Heat going 82-0. Dwyane Wade looked the part of a guy who only played three minutes during the preseason, and LeBron James 31 points weren’t enough to stop the newly-bigger Boston Celtics. But it was one of the more diminutive Cs who had perhaps the biggest game of them all, with Rajon Rondo dishing out 17 assists in a Nike Hyperfuse Low PE. Rondo’s been rockin’ the Hyperfuse since late last season, and here’s a look at a new Hyperfuse Rondo PE that offers the opposite of last night’s colorblocking pattern. These joints are mostly Celtic green as you might expect, with a combination of white and black accents demonstrating the only real change to Boston’s presentation in the squad’s history. Check out more shots after the jump and grab a pair of these Rondo PEs from RMKStore.

Despite rumors he might attempt a comeback with the Miami Heat, the only opening night Penny Hardaway has been involved with recently, was in a recruiting capacity for the University of Memphis. Hardaway’s been off the NBA hardwood for a good while now, but with the season just starting, we’re reminded of the memories that make the Nike Air Foamposite One a legendary shoe. Penny rocked this OG Dark Neon Royal colorway in the 1997-98 campaign where we unfortunately started to see the deterioration of his knees come into play. The OG Foam Ones have held up considerably better, rising along with a growing selection of Foamposite releases to the top of Nike Sportswear’s Spring 2011 collection. But you don’t have to wait till Q1 ’11; grab the Royal Foamposite One now from RMKStore or on eBay.

The crepe sole isn’t exactly new to Nike or even the Nike Air Max 1; think back to the Air Max 1 ‘Crepe’ of 2004 that featured a hemp toe, brown suede, and a turquoise blue swoosh. The solid make-up of the material should remind you of the Clarks Wallabee for obvious reasons, but there really is no affiliation between the two. Three colorways of the Air Max 1 with a Crepe sole and ponyhair swoosh are set to drop this Holiday 2010 season – this black colorway, one in Sail, and a third in Dark Cinder. The tonal colorway might not do much for you but as you can see, this isn’t your average pair of Air Max 1s. If these catch your eye, take another look after the jump and pick up a pair from JBseller on eBay.

The Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4 has a unique two-piece sole that should lend itself to interesting blocking patterns like the one pictured above. The latest P-Rod IV exemplifies the shoe’s elegant if simple leanings with a black suede upper that feels ultra-premium thanks to a grey ostrich Swoosh. Black extends down to the top of the midsole, where the middle and outsole heel give way to gum rubber for a classic skateboarding look that belies the P-Rod 4′s modern technical advantages. A bunch of closeups await your click on the jump below, and you can scoop these up today from select SB spots like Michigan’s Premier.

Further proof that the footwear tastes in Japan tend to be more progressive than anywhere else in the world: this new drop from Nike Sportswear’s Athletics Far East capsule. The Nike Air Moc AFE comes to you in a duo of camouflaged looks, though it’s clear from the colorways that this is an aesthetic choice, and not one of utility. Pretty much the only thing you’d be able to hide inside is a rack of grey denim, if you’re wearing the pair that mixes two shades with white, while the other pair could possibly preclude your being seen in a bushel of peaches, but you can see that both of those are big stretches. Far closer to say that these are some dope slip-ons that offer a study in juxtaposition by pairing them with the military theme applied to rugged ripstop nylon. They’ll be at Tier Zero accounts soon, so stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date. via CT

A few changes for Deron Williams this offseason; he lost his buddy down in the paint to Chicago Bulls money but the Utah Jazz front office didn’t blink twice as Carlos Boozer was replaced with another Western Conference rising star in Al Jefferson. D-Will’s teammates certainly are different, but they’ll look different as well, because the Utah Jazz went through a wardrobe change by switching back to a Retro-inspired logo but with fresh new colors. You might recognize the ‘Jazz’ font but the addition of a navy blue base on their Away jersey is something new – but luckily D-Will’s got these new Hyperfuse PE’s to match. You can have ‘em too because these just dropped at RMKStore so take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of Utah’s threads.

“The man, the myth, the legend…” is one sample of how Tinker Hatfield was introduced during a Q&A Session at Nike Santa Monica during the Sole Collector x Jordan CMFT Max 11 release event, and there truly is no better way to roll out the red carpet for the legendary architect responsible for the most game-changing and ground-breaking footwear designs in history. Hatfield’s aura of ‘cool’ was visible from head to toe, with a slick black leather jacket and a special PE of the Air Jordan XX3, at ease under the spotlight and deluge of praise. Tinker was ready to address any question regarding the Air Max 1, Air Jordan XI, and the Jordan CMFT Max 11 hybrid, and willing to answer more in-depth ones like his previous work with Kobe and LeBron, the upcoming Air Jordan 2011 and 2012, and his most memorable moment with Michael Jordan during their revolutionary partnership and storied friendship. You should prepare to be all ears for this great info session so take a look at all three parts of Tinker’s Q&A session at Nike Santa Monica after the jump and let us know what piece of information had you surprised the most.

In a year that’s been packed full of more Air Jordan Retro releases than any in history, this right here is your big dog, your top of the line, the creme de la creme of Twenty-Ten. The Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ isn’t your average sneaker. This is a shoe that’s only seen a release one time in the 15 years since patent leather debuted on a basketball shoe, and that was all the way back in 2001. Just like back then, they’re following soon after a ‘Space Jam’ AJXI release, so the question is, will the Cool Grey Elevens make as big a splash as last year’s holiday must-have? Count on it. And even with December stuffed to the gills with high quality releases, you’d be wise to lock up a pair in advance. That’s where RMKStore comes in, a retailer who’s offering the Cool Grey Jordan 11s in most adult sizes nearly two months ahead of the official release date – but you can also grab a pair on eBay.

K-Swiss may be best recognized recently for Kenny Powers and the K-Swiss Tubes, but Undefeated’s collaboration with K-Swiss brings it back to the shoes – more specifically, five colorways of the K-Swiss Deuce. Featuring canvas uppers, white midsoles, and a gum toe cap, the Undefeated x K-Swiss Deuce revives the classics that K-Swiss was made famous for – although not in all-white colorways – and this Friday Undefeated will drop release the Deuce for purchase. Undefeated LA will have them available on Friday, October 29th at 8PM, with a wide Undefeated release on Saturday. Take another look at the collection as well as a shot of the insole after the jump.

The Los Angeles Lakers opened the 2010-11 NBA season in style last night at Staples Center, getting their rings from a second consecutive championship and handily dispatching their conference rivals, the Houston Rockets. On the other coast, LeBron James broke out his newest signature sneaker, but for the other Nike Basketball alpha dog, it was shades of last year with Kobe Bryant rocking a new colorway of the Zoom Kobe V. And we’ll probably see the Black Mamba wearing the ZKvs until around the turn of the year, when the Nike Zoom Kobe 6 is set to debut. A colorway much like last year’s Inline ZK5, the ‘Concord’ Zoom Kobe VI features a shade that’d be familiar if you’re an Air Jordan XI fan, a distinctive purple shade to tie in the otherwise white/black shoe with Laker uniforms. These new photos give us a look at just how highly texturized both the upper and outsole really are, and if “[You] want a shoe that molds to [your] foot,” click the jump below to see more. via Kenlu
