New Balance and J.Crew are two brands that have deep roots in classic fashion for the American male, so while their partnership doesn’t come as a surprise, it sure offers a breath of fresh air. The limited edition pure-American New Balance 1400 was entirely manufactured in New Balance’s factory in Maine, and will release exclusively at J.Crew’s men’s shop at The Liquor Store in Manhattan as well as the men’s shop in Copley Plaza in Boston, MA, and will also be available online as well through the J.Crew catalog. Hunter green was specifically chosen as the aboriginal colorway of this partnership, as Frank Muytjens, the head of Men’s design for J.Crew deemed it fitting for both a suit, a pair of khakis, or pretty much anything in the entire J.Crew men’s catalog.
