California covers the entire spectrum of winter weather, from the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada to the ever-warm San Diego beaches. Vans California has cold weather in mind with these two new releases, each of which offers its own take on how to design a boot-infused sneaker. First up is the Vans Switchback, a model that debuted last year with a few rugged colorways and looks great in a grey denim like material with darker accents on the toe and heel. Those have the same corded laces as a D-ringed pair of Hiker Pack Mid Skool ’77s, but the end result is totally different thanks to a colorway that reminds us of the Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High. Both of these just touched down at Vans California retailers like NY’s Extra Butter.
