As if the renewal of his ongoing collaborative project with Vans Vault weren’t enough, here’s proof that Taka Hayashi’s tag team efforts with Off the Wall are here to stay. The Taka Hayashi x Vans Akat LX debuted last year as part of the Japanese artist’s Native American pack of lifestyle sneakers. Each of Hayashi’s designs were original, most way ahead of the curve of today’s average cut and paste hybrid, and the return of the Akat three new colorways. Picking up right where last year’s two brown pairs left off are two new editions, one in a creamy khaki suede and a camel colored pair that’s considerably nappier. And a black pair adds white contrast stitching for a look unlike any of the previous releases, so we can’t help but wonder how this kind of ‘colorblcoking’ might impact the next set. But before we get ahead of ourselves, we’ve got some more photos of each pair after the jump and you can get your own today from Vans Vault retailers like Berkeley CA’s Bows and Arrows. via HB
