Black is the color most commonly associated with mystery, cos when you’re out in the dark of night, you never know what’s right around the corner. Considerably less difficult to see a black shoe in daylight (or fluorescent, for that matter), but that still doesn’t blunt the surprise of seeing a brand new blacked-out Nike SB Dunk High. With these out in the open, the details are still a bit foggy, with the upper looking to be constructed of a synthetic material, perhaps the rugged Tec Tuff leather that graced a pack of rugged Air Force 1 Lows a short while back. Whatever it may be, this material covers the entire upper, save for a Swoosh that we’re pretty certain is cut from suede. No word yet on the release date for what is now the third murked-out Nike Dunk High this year, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates. via N-SB

just curious on the material used. tuff would be nice, dont want to expect 3m cause the disappointment would be too much, perhaps the glossy "foamposite" leather material used on the past blazer releases?

i dont get the like for these but to each his own. no way i'm paying 108.00 for a black rubber looking dunk. maybe if they were goretex or had at least an extra color or material to make it pop. a purple nike logo on the tongue, or a horsehair swoosh. something. plus no 'double outline' of the swoosh like some of the dope Sb's have
that being said…. if they show up at the outlet for 49.99 i'll cop cop cop
