Here’s a case of life imitating art (imitating life), a new Nike Dunk High designed by Japanese sculpter Haroshi. Crafted in the artist’s signature style, these joints echo the multilayered work he makes from recycled skateboard decks. While Haroshi’s pieces are created by stacking and shaving literally thousands of old handpicked decks, these joints look to be wearable and are likely the product of some combination of weaving and printing. The Hiroshi x Nike Dunk High remains a bit of a mystery as of this writing, so have a look at more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible retail release. via HS
