The Nike LeBron VIII ‘South Beach’ is definitely not the first Miami-inspired sneaker colorway, but it’s hard to miss its similarities to the above pictured pair. Here’s a closer look at the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 ‘South Beach’, a shoe Sneaker News showed you for the first time just last week. In these new images, we get a better sense for how the palette echoes the city’s signature art deco motif, and our first good look at the patent leather mudguard, which has a tortoise shell marbling to imitate ocean waves on its toe. This is the first time we’ve seen anything other than straight up gloss on an Air Jordan XI (-inspired) mudguard, so we can’t help but wonder if more textured looks are on the way. In the meantime, have a look at this South Beach CMFT 11, which is currently on tap for a Spring 2011 release, and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via MN

they're alright, the blue waves should go all throughout the patent leather and the blue should be used sparingly like the pink is. this shoe with these colors have potential its just not being executed properly. change the mesh to black with blue laceholders. i need a job. or a coloring book.

OF COURSE JB NEEDS TO GET ON POINT WITH THEIR MATERIAL USE ON MOST OF THE RETROS. UNTILL THEN I JUST GRAB WHAT I DEEM WORTHY. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN LET JB KNOW WHAT I THINK OF THEIR PRODUCTS. ONE PERSON COMMENTING ON A BLOG IS NOT GONNA MAKE A DIFFERENCE. BUT IF SOMEONE STARTS A WEBSITE OR SOMETHING STRICTLY FOR PEOPLE TO LEAVE THEIR COMMENTS ON THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS IN QUESTION AND WE TRY TO GET JB'S ATTENTION TO THAT WEBSITE.
