When it was announced that LeBron would be changing his number from 23 to 6, it was safe to say that we’d seen the last of the “L23″ logo that has appeared on the Nike LeBron line for years. For the Nike LeBron 8, there was no LeBron logo to speak of, just his signature and the lion head that has become synonymous with the Nike LeBron line as well. When we sat down to talk with LeBron designer Jason Petrie a few weeks back, we asked about the possibility of a new logo, but now we’re getting a look much earlier than we were led to believe. During last night’s NBC Person of the Year interview with Matt Lauer, King james was seen wearing a polo sporting a new logo that continues to use the crown concept by placing the crown from the original logo on top of an “LJ” to form a larger crown. Look for the new LeBron logo to begin appearing on Nike LeBron shoes and gear in 2011.
According to CNBC’s Darren Rovell:
Nike has just confirmed to me that this is LeBron’s new logo. Their statement:
“In his interview with NBC airing November 25th, LeBron is wearing a polo (shirt) featuring his new logo. We are really pleased that it incorporates LeBron’s initials “L” and “J” and retains the crown from his previous iconic logo. The new logo will appear on LeBron’s product in 2011 and on quick strike product.”

Not even a MILLIMETER close to THE GREATE$T. Did u see the MELTDOWN they had against the Pacers*? (*Can't remember) I'm telling u that it's not about FAME, MONEY; it's about PASSION and LOVE for the GAME. IMO, looks to me that LJ is doing it for MONEY & PUBLICITY. Like ESPN said, "Miami Heat is having a MELTDOWN."

they put about as much effort into that logo as lebron has put into helping the heat win. you need to have a contest to design the new logo the way jordan did with the futuresole for melo

What does his logo have to do with how he plays?? It seems like haters just continue to hate on someone who's doing things they never could do. Just let it go.. Just because he didnt go to your team doesnt mean he's bad or you have to automatically diss him everytime you see something about him. The only people that have a credible arguement are players in the NBA who KNOW he's always one of the best players on the court day in and day out, not people who visit this website just to trash him…. Grow up people.
