So with the inevitable rise in earthy palettes for fall, you might have grown tired of seeing browns and greys, in which case, this brand new Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar is the cure for what ails you. Like a week-long getaway on a private island, these Night Fall and Varsity Crimson Salazars offer a breath of fresh ocean air, complete with Flywire support in the heel if you decide to really tear it up. These would make for an interesting study in colorful lace replacement, and they’re available as part of the Nike SB December 2010 footwear collection at the UK’s FlatSpot.

Some new Air Force iD options have just become available at Nike’s sister store in the Japanese district of Harajuku; some neat tiled textured, translucent midsoles with an ‘Air Force 1′ banner, and some fresh color palettes will be available. In one example, a black upper with a golden tiled swoosh and the aforementioned clear sole is used, and another sample pair features the unforgettable ‘Heineken’ colorway from the SB Dunk Low. These new options can be applied to both the Low and High, making for an endless assortment of iD-able possibilities. The Air Jordan VII Premio of the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection is set for a U.S. release this Black Friday with the Foot Locker House of Hoops locations being one of the confirmed releases. However, some of the HoH locations have postponed the release of the Premio VII to Monday, November 29th, possibly in an effort to reduce the expected barrage of customers eager to do some Holiday shopping. By now it’s been burned into your internal post-it notepad that the Air Jordan XIII Flint is releasing soon, so let’s take a look at some fun facts regarding this memorable colorway. For one, the Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’ was one of the few original colorways that released during Michael Jordan’s playing days that he never wore in a game. Sure, the colorway isn’t conducive to col0r-matching to the Chicago Bulls’ red, black, and white, but even during his days as a Washington Wizard, there is no known recount of MJ wearing the Flints. One of those peculiar releases of the Air Jordan Legacy in that this widely popular shoe can’t be tied to one specific memory/era. How many Foamposite-inspired Air Jordans are on the way? We’ve seen several AJ1 Anodized colorways release already, and there’s a Metallic Black edition of the above pictured model on the way, but without the Dark Neon Royal Air Foamposite One, none of these would even exist. It’s fitting, then, that the first Foam-like Air Jordan Six Rings release will feature that same OG Foam colorway, a definite departure from the University shade that typifies most blue Jays. The pearlized mudguard and midsole make for a stunning contrast against the remaining black sections, and as with all good Foams, these are finished off with an icey translucent outsole. These are slated as a Spring 2011 release, but you can see some brand new photos from in52 after the jump and if you need yours early, get a pair now on eBay.

English DJ/musician Samantha Ronson is mixing it up with Supra Footwear in this limited edition pair of the Supra Skytop II. Given the apt nickname of Lil’ Red, Ronson’s design combines a trip of red, white, and black with premium leather, waxed laces, and a limited edition Samantha Ronson hangtag. Each of the 413 pairs will also come with a CD audio mix with tracks selected by Ronson herself. Over the last couple of years Ronson’s name has been in the celeb-gossip cycle with her connections with Lindsay Lohan and legal feud with Perez Hilton, leaving many to forget that Ronson has been a significant member in the music scene for quite some time. Jordan Brand found a worthy carrier of the torch once Carmelo Anthony was drafted third overall by the Denver Nuggets in the star-studded 2003 NBA Draft. The Syracuse legend who Jim Boeheim described as “…by far, the best player in college basketball” and further solidified his claims with “It wasn’t even close. Nobody was even close to him last year in college basketball. That’s the bottom line”, Melo received some great Air Jordan Player Exclusives during his rookie campaign. Some of you may remember the white/university blue PE he wore during his match-up against fellow rookie stand-out LeBron James, but this rare PE features a unique color-blocking that to this date is unseen in any other Air Jordan XII. It features the same white and unversity blue colorway but with a blue mudguard and a white portion of the midsole that gives the Air Jordan XII an added punch (as if the XII needed it). The man behind the 800+ pair sneaker collection, SneakerNews.com and Freshness Magazine, and a focal point in a recent CNBC investigative report on sneakers is Yu-Ming, sneakerhead aficionado and curator of the footwear culture. To ‘anodize’ something is to process metal in such a way to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on its surface.
