Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Duffle Coat’

With sneaker brands taking cues from streetwear labels and going for a more ‘mature’ look in recent years, we’ve seen a number of woolen and peacoat-inspired sneakers.  The navy-inspired look has found its fair share of adopters, and now Converse looks to branch out a bit further with their latest Chuck Taylor colorup.  The Converse All Star ‘Duffle Coat’ does just what its name would suggest, but even then, you might not expect the walrus teeth to be this big.  They’re of the size you’d see on an actual duffle coat, which means they’re pretty well oversized for a sneaker, and this contrast of sophistication and ostentatious design makes for one of the more interesting winterized kicks this season.  We have more pictures after the jump and expect these two pairs to hit US One Star retailers soon; they just arrived at Japan’s FLAUGE.

Hanon x adidas Originals Kegler Super | Black Friday

Even with adidas Originals ever-growing heritage model lineup, we’ve seen very little of the above pictured classic model.  Scottish sneaker boutique Hanon seeks to rectify that with this new Hanon x adidas Originals Kegler Super.  These joints are just a hint away from being a perfect Pittsburgh Steelers colorway, with yellow, white and blue accents appearing to contrast the tonal black upper.  Said upper is comprised of two different suede tones that are laid atop microperforated leather, and they’re appropriately colored given the Black Friday drop date.  Only 480 pairs will be available at Hanon and two adidas concept stores, and you can get a better look at the hand-numbered goodness by clicking the jump below.

Nike SB Dunk High Born In The USA Sample Version

On the eve of the Fourth of July, Nike SB released a special colorway of the Nike SB Dunk High in a patriotic red, white, and blue and inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born in the USA’ album artwork. Here’s a look at the unreleased version, which features subtle differences from the ones that hit retail; the sample version features a clean denim finish, while the released pair has frayed edges for a more rugged ‘American’ look. Of course, you can’t be more American than repping the flag, which the sample pair does not (the released version has an American flag replacing the Nike SB tag on the tongue. More images await you so check out the unreleased version and let us know which version of the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Born in the USA’ you prefer, and pick up this size 9 sample from hype_ills on eBay.

Air Jordan XIII (13) Retro GS – ‘Altitude’ | Available Early on eBay

Jordan Brand is certainly looking out of the kids this December as the Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’ Quickstrike of the month will be available for kids as well. Whether you’re a young’n with a budding sneaker collection or perhaps a sneakerfiend of the female variety, the GS release is a godsend. It fits, it’s cheaper, and it’s usually less in demand! Featuring an all-new mesh upper instead of the original leather panel, the Altitude XIII is certainly a must-have for the Holiday season because of its eye-catching colorway and somewhat limited nature of the release. If you decide to pass up on these this time around, you’ll have to pay more on the resale market because the previous Air Jordan XIII Altitude release fetched close to $250 long after the release. Extra images for the kiddie-sized Altitudes await so check them out and grab a pair early from shaolin8 on eBay.

Nike Zoom Kobe 6 ‘Christmas’ – New Images

The first matchup between the new-look Miami Heat and two-time defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers will be this year’s Christmas Day headliner.  LeBron and Chris Bosh are each looking to secure a win en route to their first chip, while Kobe is seeking one for the other thumb this year, a sixth ring to tie Michael Jordan and further eclipse Shaq.  And with King James likely rocking an all-red LeBron 8 V.2 on X-mas, the juxtaposition continues with this green-on-green Nike Zoom Kobe VI.  The tonal colorup is perfectly executed on the ZK6′s scaly Black Mamba-inspired design, and given the timing, it’s hard to dismiss these as the ‘Grinch’ Kobe Six.  Have another look in these new photos and stick with Sneaker News for updates on a possible retail release.  via joejoecong/kickz-lab

Nike SB Dunk Mid Red White Gum Sole

After twenty five years, it’s time for a change. For the silver anniversary of the Nike Dunk, the Nike SB wing has made subtle yet significant changes to the classic Nike Basketball shoe, and while the shoe itself appears to be unchanged, Nike is assured that the SB Dunk is on a whole ‘nother level. A new sole, lighter construction, and new grip will make the SB Dunk a pure skate shoe, and one of the earlier releases of the new era of the SB Dunk is this red, white, and gum-soled Mid headed for a 2011 release. This particular colorway was featured in the Autopsy of the Nike SB Dunk, where it was probed, incised, analyzed, and reborn, and by next year, these will be good to go on your feet. You can make references to other tonal red colorways like the True Reds or the Big Gulps, but these are 100% untainted ‘skate’. Check out the detailed shots after the jump and let us know what you think of this upcoming released. via CrookedTongues.

Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Pewter’ – New Images

This holiday season is all about ‘Cool Grey’.  From the namesake Air Jordan XI Retro to a growing number of copycats, there are more CG colorups available this winter than the ‘days of Christmas’.  And while 2010 will go down as the ‘Year of Cool Grey’, one of the bigger drops in this neutral hue will be dropping early next year.  The Nike Air Foamposite One is coming soon in the above pictured Metallic Pewter colorway, along with the black tongue and eyestay plus translucent sole that have typified the entire series.  Many of the Foam One colorways make for a high contrast with the black sections, but this Pewter drop might be the single most versatile yet, and we’ve got another new crop of photos from in52 awaiting your click on the jump below.  And if you need your pair early, there’s a few pairs floating around on eBay.

Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Foamposite’ – Black – New Photos

Black Friday has long been a big day for retail shopping, but never have there been more high profile sneaker releases on a single day than will hit store shelves this year on November 26th.  Perhaps the shoe whose colorway best reflects the start of the holiday shopping season is this Nike Air Force 1 High Foamposite in black.  The color code is “Black/Black”, but these offer a surprising depth of tone with their Foamposite uppers’ satiny finish nicely contrasting the darker eyestay, laces, tongue and lining, while a translucent sole completes the look.  The Metallic Silver AF1 Foamposite sold out super fast, so if you’re in the area, you might wanna get your tent ready for a Turkey Day overnighter at BX Sports in Brooklyn or skip the lines completely and get a pair on eBay.
