Pivot by diffeducation – MJ 1.5 Boots

We’ve seen it done before – a footwear brand using a classic sneaker silhouette as a base and slapping on slightly altered logos and panels and in turn calling it their own. In comes Pivot by diffeducation and the MJ 1.5 Boot, which features a familiar Air Jordan 1 upper gone swooshless and slapped with a boot-like midsole and traction. Three classic AJ1 colorways of the MJ 1.5 Boot have been produced; black/red, white/red, and black/royal are arguably the most recognized Air Jordan 1 colorways, and so Pivot transported them onto the MJ 1.5 Boot as well. Definitely something to stir debate, so check out the detailed shots of all three colorways of the MJ 1.5 Boot after the jump and give us your thoughts – and head to mita sneakers to pick up a pair.

NBA Feet: OKC Thunder Players Debut the Nike Zoom KD III

No Durant? No problem. The Oklahoma City Thunder pulled off two key road wins again the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics over the weekend with an ailing Kevin Durant watching from the sidelines. Led by the stellar play of Mr. Why Not Russell Westbrook and bench-man extraordinaire James Harden, the Thunder performed exceedingly well down the wire to pull off victories that some may have thought improbable. However, Durant was still ON the court in other ways, as Royal Ivey and D.J. White made an early debut of the Nike Zoom KD III in the black/orange/blue colorway. Quite the anomaly for a signature shoe to make its first appearance NOT on the signature player, but given Durant’s humble nature, which has shone through in his signature sneaker line, we’re not too surprised. Check out the Nike Zoom KD III in action after the jump and let us know what you think of this ‘early’ debut. via Yahoo!/ESPN.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 – Black – Varsity Red

So many sneakerheads loved Paul Rodriguez’ second Nike SB signature sneaker that even when his third (and now fourth) sig hit retail, SB dropped a reworked version of the P-Rod II.  The latest Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 is pictured above in perhaps the single most successful high-contrast colorway of all time, a two-toned mix reverentially referred to as ‘Bred’.  Crafted in black suede with a black sole, these joints add Varsity Red on the leather Swooshes, sockliner and foxing band, which makes for the most aggressive look yet from this vulcanized lifestyle-friendly lowtop.  Have another look when you click the jump below and grab a pair today from Nike SB retailers like Flatspot.

Nike 6.0 Dunk SE ‘DeLorean’ – Detailed Images

Life was bleak for Marty McFly; his band was going nowhere and his parents were miserable – what could save his family? In comes the DeLorean DMC-12, a quirky sports car transformed into a plutonium powered time-machine capable of advancing or backtracking to any time period, so long as the settings are inputted correctly and the car reaches a speed of 88 miles per hour. In its latest mission, the Doc’s DeLorean speeds into the future – November 22nd, 2010 to be exact, and arrives in the form of a Nike 6.0 Dunk SE, Nike’s do-it-all action sports sneaker combining sport-ready construction and a silhouette born in the same year as Back 2 The Future’s original setting of 1985.

The metallic silver box features gull-winged doors box-top with a DMC and Nike 6.0 badge placed adroitly on the corner; inside each door is one shoe – a one-piece upper featuring a sharp metallic silver with black piping making out the seams, with the bottom-most eyestay a reinterpretation of the famous gull-wing doors. The black rubber outsole – set to match the bumper of the DeLorean – hides a orange, red, and white outsole, which mimics the car’s tail-lights. The tongue features a special embossed tag paying tribute to the Irish car company located in Belfast, and on the heeltab is a stamped ‘DMC’ (Delorean Motor Company). Hop in the Nike 6.0 Dunk SE ‘DeLorean’ and teleport after the jump to check out the great detailed gallery of this futuristic shoe! Look for Delorean x Nike 6.0 Dunk on Black Friday November 26th, 2010 at Nikestore.com, Niketowns, and select Nike 6.0 retailers.

Nike Dunk High Premium – Dark Plum Canvas – Black

One of several all black Nike Dunk Highs we saw recently was a Premium release done up in canvas with a leather Swoosh.  Here’s the other pair that was previewed alongside the blacked out joints, another Zoom Air cushioned Dunk High Premium with a tonal upper and midsole plus black outsole and sockliner.  This latest pair is 95% Dark Plum, from the mostly canvas uppers, to the Swooshes and metal eyelets and laces.  This colorup makes for both a nice depth of warm colors for winter and a new take on the classic Bred combo, and they’re available now at select Nike Sportswear accounts like Premier.

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 – Tyreke Evans Home PE

Tyreke Evans is every bit as speedy on the court at Arco Arena as he is on the nearby interstates, and here’s a look at a new Nike Hyperdunk 2010 PE done up for the Sacramento Kings’ home games.  ‘Reke has been seen in the Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 recently and we’ve also seen a ‘Reke Havok’ Cradle Rock Low PE, a slogan that also appears on the tongue of this white sneaker with purple and black accents.  Will Evans and Kings rookie DeMarcus Cousins be able to put their young team on their backs and bring playoff basketball back to Sac-town?  Seems at least a few years off with the stacked Western Conference, but you can have a better look at the latest Nike Basketball player exclusive sneaker after the jump and you can pick up the black away pair now on eBay.

NFL Feet: Terrell Owens Air Jordan III Cleat PE Orange Black

Not only is Terrell Owens putting up Pro Bowl-type numbers, he’s proving that he’s still one of the best in game. Currently sitting at 62 catches, 897 yards, and 8 scores, the 36-year-old is showing the younger WRs in the league that he’s still one of the top dogs regardless what team he plays for. Of course, Terrell Owens has been lighting up the footwear scene with his sick Air Jordan cleats as well, because during yesterday’s unfortunate loss to the Buffalo Bills, T.O. brought out a third PE colorway of the Air Jordan III Cleat, in a tonal orange upper with black laces and midsole. By far Owens’ “loudest” pair of the season, this Air Jordan III Cleat PE caught our attention immediately and will continue to do so as the season progresses. Check out the gallery of Terrell Owens and his latest Air Jordan heat after the jump and let us know if you’d pick up a pair if they released in a sneaker version. via NFL.

Stussy x Nike All Court Mid

Skate/Streetwear brand Stussy has a long list of collaborative projects with Nike, resulting in some of the most collectible and hard-to-find kicks out there. The best thing about their designs is that they’re rarely over the top and instead feature impeccable colorblocking that only accentuate the beauty of the shoe. The Blazer Mids, Dunk Highs, Court Forces, Huarache Lights, and SB Dunk Low all featured the same motif of simplicity and this upcoming Stussy x Nike All Court Mid does the same, using a black leather upper with a reptilian swoosh and heel tab, with the brand’s signature logo on the bottom soles and NIKE spelled out in Stussy-esque fashion on the heel-tabs. There’s no word on a release date just yet so check out the extra shots after the jump and let us know what you think of Stussy’s latest collaboration with Nike, and stick with Sneaker News for more information as it unfolds. via stosh31.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Yellow Curb December 2010

If you have any cash left after the sneaker cornucopia that will be this year’s Black Friday, one of the more ‘personality’-filled Nike SB releases of the year will touch down in December.  The Nike SB Dunk Low Premium ‘Yellow Curb’ features a few design elements that are taken from legendary Dunk Low SB releases and a couple that are new to the series.  On the familiar side of things, you get Elephant print on the toebox and rear quarter sections, but they’re unique in the tonal application, plus a macro version appearing on the midsole.  Embroidery on the lateral heels will evoke images of Jeff Staple’s ‘Pigeon’ Dunk SB, but we’ve never seen a pair with a clear Swoosh underlay like the one that appears on this pair.  A great mix of old and new details makes for a totally new result and you can grab yours next month after you click the jump below to have a better look at the Yellow Curb Dunks.  via Kasina
