For a year that’s been dominated by simple ‘mature’ colorways, this new release from adidas Originals stands out as something of an anachronism. The adidas Micropacer CS is pictured above in a design that reps Three Stripes more than most, extending the signature diagonal lines beyond their typical side panel placement and onto the entire midfoot. The criss-crossing lines along with a black/yellow colorway give these a ‘cautious’ look, but all you really have to worry about is finding the right fit for these kicks to complete. Have a closer look by clicking the jump below and look for these at adidas Originals accounts like SuperFlyDeluxe.

The Holiday season is a happy time for most, but being in the northern hemisphere, it also means nasty winter weather. Gourmet is ready to go, having cooked up a number of foul weather friendly kicks for their second Q4 delivery. Pictured above are the Gourmet Dieci L (blue) and Sedici L (brown), both of which are crafted in the finest supple leathers to keep your feet nice and toasty. The Quattro R’s canvas upper has been treated with polyurethane for a rainboot-like water resistant quality, while the duck boot-inspired Quadici has never been as duck boot-y as this hightop cut. Have a look at these, plus another shot at the upcoming 27 Boot by clicking the jump below. via HB

The Air Jordan Flight SC-1 is comprised of familiar design elements from Air Jordans II-IV, and while they don’t have a hint of AJXI in the design, with 2010 set to be remembered as ‘the year of Cool Grey‘, it’s only fitting that this signature shade would find its way onto a pair. The latest SC-1 hightop combines Cool Grey with Anthracite and white for a study in tonal gradation every bit as adept as the shoe’s ’86-’89 blend. These are a particularly good candidate to add your own brightly colored laces for that unique touch, and you can pre-order a pair right now from Eastbay.

There have been plenty of sneakers inspired by earlier shoes from the same brand (the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low comes to mind), but rarely has the execution been so subtle. It seems like grey/white/black is the core colorway for a bunch of NB runners, but with the above pictured New Balance M1500, the colorway is taken from one of its forebears, the M1300 CL. No matter who did it first, this mix of grey suede and mesh with just a hint of soft blue is yet another example of the Boston-based brand doing it right, and while it’s unlikely that any of the 600 pair limited run will make it stateside, you can click the jump below to see more photos and revel in their elegance. via Kenlu

Nike’s all-new Air Max Liquid Racer debuted earlier this year as a “Retro meets current state” sneaker that would appease both sides. With the midsole and Air Unit taken from the Air Max Light and an upper construction similar to the Air Max 1, the Liquid Racer was a must-have at any price for Air Max heads, and this newly released colorway of Obsidian, Royal, and Orange (a New Yorker must-have) should be another celebrated release. With an obsidian upper, orange swoosh, Air unit, and lace eyelet, royal blue trim, with white contrast stitching, there’s enough goin’ on in this new colorway that would makes these a wise pick-up for the Holiday season. Check out the extra side-profile after the jump and snag a fresh pair from JBseller on eBay.

Earlier this year Sneaker News showed you an unreleased sample of the Nike SB Dunk High in an all-black leather upper with a suede swoosh, white midsole, and granite/oatmeal bottom sole. Not surprised that this pair never came into production because many recently released Nike SBs feature a prominent use of vibrant colors and combinations, leaving the more ‘mature’ tonal colorways like this one left behind. These, however, are simply a reminder of the earlier days of Nike SB, when the easy-on-the-eyes approach dominated the game – that is, until neon green, patent leather, metallic silver, and other other-worldly colors became the norm on SBs. These samples popped up once again for sale so don’t miss out on snagging these beauties because they’re available now from sole_cartel on eBay.

You can’t wear your Cool Grey XIs all time so how about the Jordan Alpha Float Premier ‘Cool Grey’ Slipper? Featuring patent leather and soft synthetic on the upper with the JORDAN JUMPMAN on the face of the slipper, these ‘Cool Grey’ replacements of sorts would be perfect for lounging around or even as an advanced purchased for the summer-time. There’s plenty of Cool Grey inspired Jordan Brand apparel and accessories that are slated to release alongside the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ so don’t miss out on these one-of-a-kind slippers. You can find them at select Jordan Brand retailers like Extra Butter so take another look after the jump and let us know what you think.

In early August, Sneaker News scooped you on a trio of upcoming Nike Air Force 1 releases slated for Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2010 footwear drop. We previewed the black/white lows and black/gum highs earlier, and now here’s the third and final member of that set, a super-clean Air Force 1 Low in white with Team Red accents. These joints feature identical colorblocking to the other lows, also opting for the ‘naked’ Swoosh made of perforations instead of the traditional sewn-on variety. It’s going to be extremely difficult to narrow down your choices among what has become the most bountiful sneaker season yet, but you can click the jump below to get more images to aid your decision. via mita sneakers

Back by the demands of a cult following, the Nike Zoom Terra Sertig returned in 2010 for the first time since its initial release in the mid/late ’90s. A beefy trail shoe whose debut came during a time when Nike gave the ACG sub-label a respite, the Zoom Terra Sertig would have been welcome in the above pictured colorway, but alas, it appears to have been nixed at the sample stage. That’s a shame, cos the grey overlay along with black and white sections make the most of the bright yellow commonly found on this model and give it a fresh-for-2010 feel. But as it stands these’ll likely never make it to retail, so have a look at what could have been and if you like what you see there’s a single sample available in US mens size 9 from CheckMarkstheSpot on eBay.
