Indiana alumni and defensive-minded role player extraordinaire Jared Jeffries started his pro career with the Washington Wizards, playing alongside Michael Jordan during the final year of Jordan’s career. Since then, Jeffries, who isn’t a ‘superstar’ by any standards, was a recipient of some great Air Jordan PEs and also wore some Air Jordan Retros during his post-Wizards days. For the 2005-2006 season, Jeffries “career” year that concluded with an ingenious multi-year contract from Isiah Thomas, Jordan Brand fashioned this great Air Jordan XIV PE in white, blue, and mustard gold, matching the Wizards uniforms of that season, with Jeffries’ ’1′ stitched on upper ankles of the medial sidewalls. This is one rare case in which the shoes outshine the man (take for example the face-melting Air Jordan V Knicks PE he received), but that doesn’t take away from the beauty and gem-status of the shoe, so take a look at the extra images of this rare Air Jordan PE after the jump and swipe this rare pair from sole_supreme on eBay.

Nike in Prague was the location for a sweet preview for Spring 2011 releases, but the actual installments and displays might’ve outshined the actual items. With an installation team comprised of Daniel Gonzalez, Richard and Thomas Varga Rozhoň, Nike Prague was transformed into an exhibit of sorts, using classic Air Max runners as the focal point in the ‘footwear fashion meets suspended artistry’ showcase. In the Spring 2011 preview, get another look at the re-release of the Nike V-Series as well as some new colorways of the Air Max 1 that was previewed on Sneaker News before as well as some new Air Max 90 colorways. Check out the neat exhibit from Nike Prague after the jump and let us know what you think of the display! via brokeandfamouscz.

Jordan Brand pushed the Air Jordan XIII Retro ‘Altitude’ drop back until December 11th so you’d have a chance to catch your breath after the breakneck pace set on Black Friday, so we hope you’re good with the shuttle runs. Instead of two weeks to await another paycheck so you could afford the black and Altitude Green AJ13s, select sneakerheads will have the opportunity to beat the inevitable crowds and grab your Atitudes a week early. This privilege is afforded by SoCal sneaker outfitter Millennium LA, who will find a limited release at their three B&M locations on Saturday, December 4th or if you’re not in the area, get yours now on eBay.

Despite its name, the above pictured sneaker isn’t some kind of prequel to the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez signature line. The Nike Air PR1 is actually based on a shoe that came out when young P-Rod was just a toddler, the Pump-battling Air Pressure. A new lifestyle offering in the same vein of the RT1, the Air PR1 borrows an Air Jordan III-style sole, complete with visible Air cushion, and the new pair pictured looks solid with or without the removable ankle strap. Check out this subtle application of the legendary ‘Bred’ colorup and stick with Sneaker News for word on when this Air PR1 hits US Nike Sportswear retailers. via LTD Online

To lay down amongst a pile of your favorite Nike Foamposite shoes while holding your favorite pair close to your heart might be a little bit more than ‘Appreciation’, but all sneakerheads share the same sentiments in varying degrees. Here we get a look at a couple of Foamposite freaks – one is laying peacefully on a bed of Foamposite Pros, Ones, Flightposite, Clogposites, Half Cents, and even the Signature Player which was worn by the likes of Paul Pierce, and the second is displaying his Flightposite fare on a flight of outdoor stairs. Also included in this small show of appreciation to Foamposite is a magazine scan detailing some Foamposite releases and samples of the past, the like ‘Voltage’ Foamposite Pro and even a Penny Hardaway Flightposite PE. Take a look after the jump and let us know what particular sneaker you appreciate the most. via hoopchina.

Converse Japan continues to delight with premium takes on the One Star heritage models, this month focusing almost entirely on themed Chuck Taylor All Stars. The Chuck once again proves how versatile its deceptively simple design can be, starting with the varsity jacket joints that all at once evoke the All Star’s 1950s heyday and seem well-timed with a variety of letterman jackets available from a bevy of brands this season. Next up is another style we’ve seen more frequently of late: the Chelsea boot-style elastic gusset, which comes in your typical Chuck Taylor Hi and one that goes a few eyelets further. Check out all these, plus a couple deluxe leather One Star Los after the jump and check for them at select Converse Japan retailers.
