Air Jordan 5 Bin 23 | Teaser #2

SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE

Late last night Sneaker News hooked you up with a teaser of the upcoming Air Jordan V Premio, and what was revealed was a flat-black leather upper with the Bin 23 stamp on the heel. These new teaser images reveal just a bit more; the translucent netting, the trademark feature of the Air Jordan V, has been removed for a leather construction, and a peek at the midsole reveals the concrete finish on the “shark’s teeth” as well as a translucent bottom sole. A black leather Air Jordan V for men has never been done, although they were released in black with red shark’s teeth for kids, so while the colorway itself isn’t brand new, it’s most definitely a fresh take on the Air Jordan V for mens. Check out the detailed images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection information.

Air Jordan 13 Retro White Grey Pink

Jordan Brand has been giving extra attention to crafting quality kicks for ladies in recent months, and while these are technically a classic pink-and-shrink, there’s no discounting the execution.  This brand new Air Jordan XIII GS has a vague Un-Grey Toe look to it, thanks to white ‘golf ball’ panels and grey on the rear mudguard/heel and midsole instead of the toe.  Select pink accents are limited to the tongue tags and outsoles, which makes these supremely versatile, and probably makes plenty of male sneakerheads jealous considering the vast array of more masculine colors that could take their place.  And while these are definitely just for girls, anyone can click the jump below to see more up-close photos.  via Taobao

Reebok ReeFlex Sneak Peek

Just yesterday, Sneaker News scooped you on the latest Zig Tech-equipped runner from RBK, the Reebok Zig Sonic.  Zig technology combines a flexible sole with superior cushioning and an unmistakable aesthetic, but even Zig Tech can’t hold a candle to the latest sole innovation from the Vector brand.  Here’s our first look at the Reebok ReeFlex, very possibly the most jaw-droppingly flexible sneaker soles ever seen.  These joints are comprised of roughly five times as many flexible pods as your typical Nike Free release, and while they’d probably not be best for muddy or otherwise offroad runs, you can expect one of the best barefoot simulations yet.  Have a closer look by clicking the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for updates on all the upcoming ReeFlex applications.  via Footwear News

Nike Zoom KD III Black Photo Blue Team Orange

Kevin Durant has been spotted in the Sneaker News NBA Feet feature rocking a number of Oklahoma City Thunder-colored Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PEs, but let’s not forget about the reigning scoring champ’s upcoming signature shoe.  The Nike Zoom KD 3 is pictured above in a colorway you’d expect to see when OKC is out on the road, a black base with Photo Blue and Team Orange accents.  Have a closer look at what’s gotta be one of the most unique tongues since the Air Jordan VI by clicking the jump below and expect these to hit Nike Basketball retailers soon; Miami’s SoleFly just got theirs.

Air Jordan V Premio Bin 23 Teaser Pics

The Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection continues forward with the U.S. release of the Air Jordan VII Premio on Black Friday, but here’s a teaser preview of the next installment of the limited premium collection, the Air Jordan V Premio. At this point all that is revealed is a jet-black smooth leather upper with a Bin 23 wax stamp on the heel and the textured inner lining seen on the previous Air Jordan Premio releases. Each release of the Bin 23 Collection paid tribute to the original inspiration of the design; the Air Jordan II, which was inspired by a 19th century French boot, and the Air Jordan VII by West African tribal art. The V was inspired by a World War II Mustang Fighter Plane, so there could possibly be a similar aeronautical theme – perhaps a Stealth Bomber? Check out the extra teaser shot after the jump and let us know what you think will be the design of the Air Jordan V Premio. via MarqueeSole’s SN Blog.

Nike Air Foamposite One Royal Extensive Detailed Look

It was almost as if the universe created transient superstars in the vacuum left by Michael Jordan’s sudden retirement in 1993.  Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway and Grant Hill were each drafted third overall in ’93 and ’95, respectively, both spent significant time with the Orlando Magic, and both players’ all-NBA careers were stopped short by unfortunate and repeated injuries right around the time MJ came back to take the throne.  Hardaway and Hill are both remembered for their signature sneakers, but especially in 2010, one of Penny’s stands out above all the rest.

The Nike Air Foamposite One will return in its OG Dark Neon Royal colorway early next year, a shoe that popped up in a couple of memorable releases earlier this year.  With inflation taking its natural course, it’s possible the Foam Ones are even more popular today than when they hit retail at $170 in 1997 as the most expensive basketball shoe to date, and you can see a bunch of new detailed images in advance of the Spring 2011 retro release by clicking the jump below.  via Kenlu

Air Jordan 60+ Premier Black Varsity Red | Unreleased Sample

The Air Jordan 60+ made it to Sneaker News’ list of the Top 30 Sneakers of 2009 and if this colorway had been released, it might’ve ranked a little higher. Check out this unreleased sample of the Air Jordan 60+ in Black and Varsity Red; the upper features a mix of a Charcoal-like tone with what appears to be a rip-stop nylon upper on the toe box as well as an acting replacement of the netting on center panel. A ‘smoked’ out translucent sole is used to match the dark tone of the colorway as well. This ‘Bulls’ colorway would have certainly been one of the more popular pairs, alongside the ‘Grape’ colorway, but unfortunately a release did not occur. Check out the images of this unreleased sample after the jump and pick up this saize 9 pair from ichiro51fan on eBay.

Celebrity Feet: Mark Sanchez – Nike Trainer SC 2010

New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez recently participated with his fellow teammate Dustin Keller for the launch of Ubisoft’s Your Shape Fitness Evolved, a home fitness video game with XBOX 360′s Kinect. Mark was demonstrating some of the fitness program’s exercises while wearing the Nike Trainer SC 2010 in white/black and a Nike ‘New York’ t-shirt. Sanchez and Jets are still flying high, coming off of two great over-time victories, and are still leading the AFC East in a tight race with the New England Patriots. Check out Sanchez and his kicks after the jump and let us know if the Jets are Superbowl bound!
