Being the 20th Anniversary of The Pump, Reebok’s classic runner from the 90′s has released in a plethora of great colorways in 2010, like these two new outdoor ready renditions of the Insta Pump Fury. Both new releases feature trail-specific colorways, with rip-stop nylon to boxes and speckled midsoles, with an exposed carbon-fiber midfoot plate at the core of the midsole. Recently the Reebok OXT Pump also released, a true trail-shoe from Reebok with origins in the 90′s, but these Insta Pump Furys will do just as well – and in style! Both new releases just hit Kickscrew so check out the detailed gallery after the jump and head there to pick up a pair.

Japanese streetwear label NEXUSVII is back with another brown suede collaboration on a New Balance runner. Earlier this year, we saw a Timberland-style CM998 and this time there’s less of a direct reference than a look appropriate for your 2010 time capsule. The NEXUSVII x New Balance CM1700 manages to have a bit of tonal flare along with its obvious two-toned leanings by adding a hint of lighter brown on the sockliner of an otherwise solid shade of suede for their uppers. Put this atop a glossy black sole and you get a clean look that typifies many of the year’s best drops. Unfortunately for US sneakerheads, these are like many NB collabos and only available in Japan, but if you can find a connect, direct them to Tokashirazu.

DJ Clark Kent’s personal collection of the Air Max LeBron VII left us in an envious state and it looks like he’s already getting starting on the LeBron 8. Here’s a look at the Nike LeBron 8 in a grey and neon green colorway; it features a grey suede upper with similarly color-blocked Flywire/synthetic carbon fiber panels, a white shoe and lace placket, and a Dunkman-esque Neon Green Air unit and inner lining. No word if this is an actual Dunkman colorway but the color scheme is actually a lot closer to the previous Dunkman releases which also used the grey/neon/white color combination. Stick with Sneaker News for more information regarding this never-before-seen colorway and check out an extra shot of the Grey/Neon LeBron 8 as well as Clark Kent’s personal LeBron 8 collection after the jump. via DJCK.

You can never go wrong with a two-toned Air Max 1, and if they’ve got suede and mesh, a ‘no-brainer’ is all you can call it. That may explain why many Air Max heads have countless pairs of the Air Max 1, because while the possibilities are endless, a sneakerhead’s hunger can never be quelled. This new Medium Grey and Spice red colorway is a women’s release but that hasn’t stopped the males from adding 1.5. Featuring a tonal grey upper and midsole with a Spice red inner lining and front quarter, it’ll be hard to say no. Check out the extra angles after the jump and pics up a new pair from id4shoes on eBay.

The number ‘Five’ was a theme of the week, starting with the exclusive first look at the Air Jordan V Premio, the fifth installment of the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection. We also got a look at some Nike Basketball PE’s as well some NBA Feet – and we all know that there are five players per team on the court at any given time. Sneaker News also published Michael Jordan Through The Years, detailing the Air Jordan III, which Jordan himself wore into his fifth NBA Season. Rounding out the ‘Five’ theme was Sneaker News’ latest Giveaway, which was the Air Jordan V Retro in Deep Burgundy of 2006.
Going back to the rest of this week’s news, we got a great look at the upcoming Air Griffey Max 1 in Sport Red as well as a look at a ton of upcoming releases and samples from Jordan Brand. The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Yellow Curb’ also made some noise for its rare use of elephant print, leaving our readers to discuss whether or not the final design was worthy enough to carry the legendary print. Mark Parker made an appearance with the Haroshi x Nike Dunk High, but something a bit more levity was the Nike 6.0 Dunk SE inspired by the DeLorean from Back 2 The Future. In other brands, we got a detailed look at two animalistic adidas Originals, and previewed the Undefeated x Converse Poorman Weapon as they gear up for its Black Friday release. Finally the celebrities showed us their latest kicks as actors, musicians, personalities, and pro athletes were all seen in public with some great footwear. Stop in and get caught up with all the latest footwear happenings with the Sneaker News Weekly Rewind!

Quentin Richardson’s one of those lucky guys in the NBA that got a boatload of Air Jordan PEs throughout his career, and playing on the Knicks for a few short years while rocking the number ’23′ jersey meant he got some of the best PEs ever created. That in itself is arguable but there’s no denying the orange-and-blue looking nice on almost every sneaker. Here’s a look at the Air Jordan VIII that Q-Rich was fortunate enough to play with during the 2007-08 NBA Season; it features a white leather upper with blue, orange, and white colors on the striking multi-colored mudguard with additional NYK accents on the velcro straps, tongue, inner lining, and of course, the ’23′ on the in-step straps. Recall in 2008 that the Air Jordan VIII Quentin Richardson as well as a ‘Sugar Ray’ Ray Allen PE actually did release in very limited numbers at House of Hoops, but this particular size-15 Promo pair was worn by Q-Rich himself. Check out the detailed gallery after the jump and check out this rare auction from jays4life on eBay.

Last week the first colorway of the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 released in a Medium Grey/Hot Red colorway that was somewhat similar to the OG colorway of the Air Max shoe that the Max Air 12 is inspired by, but it’s time to open the door a bit wider and let some new joints in. The first Black/University Blue/White colorway has a stark resemblance to the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ which featured the black leather upper and white mudguard, while the second colorway, which features a faux-reptilian texture on the mudguard, is a completely fresh design. The Air Max x Air Jordan is still young and more hybrids are on their way come 2011, but don’t miss out on these because the two aforementioned colorways are officially releasing tomorrow. Check out the extra images after the jump and hit up your local Jordan Brand account to cop a pair, or pick one up from eBay.

It’s been quite the journey for the Carmelo Anthony; born in the Red Hook district of Brooklyn, bred in Baltimore, his skills fine-tuned at Towson High, Oak Hill Academy and Syracuse University, his superstardom realized with the Denver Nuggets. Carmelo’s reached a point in his career where doing ‘Whatever it Takes‘ to win a championship trumps contract extensions and at now 27-year-old has only one goal in mind – bring an NBA Championship Ring to his empty hand. For the 2010-2011 NBA Season, Carmelo Anthony will give his all in the Jordan Melo M7, the seventh shoe in his signature line with Jordan Brand; it features a light-weight and flexible upper with visible Air, an aggressive outrigger, and styling unmatched by any of his previous sneakers. The Jordan Melo M7 ‘China’ has already released by arriving tomorrow are two team-based colorways – one for his Home jersey in the White/University Blue and another as a tribute to the Brand with the White/Black/Red. Will Carmelo lift the Nuggets to a final battle with the Lakers in the West, or will Melo be singing a different tune in another part of the country? Watch for the Jordan Melo M7 to hit retailers tomorrow or get yourself a pair now on eBay.

If you call yourself a sneaker enthusiast, chances are you have your own personal sneaker retrospective, detailing what you wore and when you wore it. Graffiti artist Ozkar Giorgias has kept all his sneakers that he wore over the last twelve years while creating his work, and it’s amazing to see the works of art that get created, especially when they’re not planned at all. Reebok Classics, Nike Air 180s, New Balance 574s, Giorgias has been wearing all kinds of trainers, and now they’re up for viewing at Beneath The Steel Sky. Check out all of Giorgias’ “sneaker art” after the jump and let us know if you’ve got any thrashed pairs of kicks worth showing off. via HB.

With more colorways issued than any other single sneaker in history, the Nike Air Force 1 can go in pretty much any direction imaginable, but the simplest colorways of all are often still the best. The latest AF1 High utilizes but two individual colors, instead opting to break up it’s iconic silhouette by contrasting leathers of varying textures. An all black upper is broken up into a super smooth style on the toe, side panels and Swooshes, while a tumbled variety is added on each of the overlay sections. Put all that atop a gum rubber outsole and you’ve got a can’t miss release. Click below to see more photos and stick with Sneaker News for updates on this impending Nike Sportswear drop. via mita sneakers
