Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by ByRon

When ByRon finally booked his reservation for the Air Force 1 Bespoke Experience, he must have shouted “Victory is Mine!”. Inspired by the misanthropic toddler Stewie Griffin of Family Guy fame, ByRon’s Bespoke features a red canvas upper with a yellow base and a cream swoosh that matches Stewie’s overalls, with a blue midsole and a black outsole to match with his kicks. The same colorway can be seen on the Nike Zoom LeBron VI ‘Stewie Griffin’ that was never released, and it’s clear that the little cartoon character with a murderous streak has made its mark in 21st Century pop culture. Check out the detailed shots of ByRon’s Bespoke after the jump and hit up 21 Mercer in downtown Manhattan to reserve your Bespoke experience!

Nike Zoom Don Black Blue | Unreleased Sample

The Nike Zoom Don borrowed the soul of the classic Zoom Spiridon and transformed itself into a mid-cut basketball shoe with the supreme Zoom cushioning that made the Spiridon such a beloved running shoe. The transition from running trail to basketball court didn’t go quite smoothly and the Zoom Don, despite a neat design, didn’t perform so well in retail. Outside of the two OG-inspired colorways and the House of Hoops exclusive tonal varsity red pair, the book was closed on the Zoom Don. Recently Sneaker News showed you a black/white unreleased sample of the Zoom Don, but it appears that Nike may have had larger plans in mind. Here’s a look at yet another unreleased colorway of the Nike Zoom Don that was spotted at a Nike Factory Store; it features a tonal black upper with a blue midsole, and given the packaging of this shoe, the Zoom Don may have been prepped for an Air Attack-like release – which would have been a head-scratching move because the Zoom Don doesn’t even feature visible Air. Check out the extra shots after the jump and do some Nike Factory Store hunting because you never know what gems you might end up with! via NT.

BBC Nothings – Holiday 2010 Colorways Part 2

A brand who built its base on some of the more outrageous designs available in the mid ’00s, Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club is back with a new sneaker that’s likely their most subtle sneaker yet.  The BBC Nothings‘ name echoes its design, a super-simple canvas lowtop with tonal leather heel tab and gum rubber outsole.  The alligator print bottoms and boxes are probably the most ostentatious parts of this collection, with black, navy blue and red pairs each about as clean as they come.  Have a look at these three new pairs after the jump and grab yours from Atlanta’s Standard.

Kanye Wests Greatest Sneaker Moments @ Complex.com

Kanye’s good in our book for sure because he’s been a sneakerhead before it became a mainstream craze. The sneakerhead/hip-hop artist blossomed into the single most relevant figure from the hip-hop culture and with his own Nike shoe and Louis Vuitton footwear collection, Kanye West is surely the ultimate celebrity sneakerhead. Whether it’s rocking a prototype of his Air Yeezy during a video shoot, wearing a crisp pair of Stash x Air Classic BWs for a photo op, or just wearing some of his favorite high-tops while out and about, Yeezy’s sneaker game has been on point and his footwear style has always been at the forefoot of the latest trends. Complex.com compiled an anthology of sorts of Kanye West’s greatest sneaker moments, so continue reading for a sample and head to Complex.com for the entire feature.

10 Deep x Pro Keds Royal Hi Sneak Peek

Sneakers and streetwear go hand in hand, and undoubtedly one of the most successful new brands of the last decade is 10.Deep.  These fellas followed the tees-to-cut-n-sew route like so many other streetwear labels, and now they’re back with another brass knuckled sneaker collaboration.  A part of their holiday 2010 collection, the 10Deep x Pro-Keds Royal Hi is like several other recent tag team efforts in their use of military inspired colorways including navy blue and army green/orange, both of which ride gum outsoles.  Have a look at the full teaser video that follows the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Air Jordan Take Flight – Black – Varsity Purple

Here’s a new performance basketball sneaker from Jordan Brand we wouldn’t blame you for associating with Mike Bibby and/or Kevin Martin, though neither currently plays for a team with these colors.  The Jordan Take Flight is pictured above in a decidedly Sacramento Kings-like colorway, one that makes the most of its Varsity Purple accents by using this shade to highlight the first ever full-length Max Air cushion on a Jordan Brand sneaker.  The choppy midsole and ascending columnar accent stitching might also remind you of the Air Max 95, which was the first running shoe to take Max Air from heel to toe.  A groundbreaking release from Jordan Brand, the latest Take Flight colorway is available at select Jordan Brand retailers, but you can pick up a pair from shoephitz on eBay.

atmos x adidas Originals Superstar 80s GID Red Snakeskin

The last adidas Originals ’80s’ release we saw here on Sneaker News featured an insane faux-stingray upper but this newest pair goes for a slightly more traditional wild look.  On the surface, the atmos x adidas Originals Superstar 80s appears to be a burgundy snakeskin shoe with a white sole, but that only tells half the tale.  Take these joint out late at night or anywhere light is lacking, and you’ll find that not only is the snakeskin upper a head turner at high noon, but they glow in the dark just like DJ Hasebe’s pair from earlier this year.  Have a look at more shots after the jump and get up with your international connects to try an dcop a pair when they hit atmos in December.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro – Varsity Maize – Metallic Cognac | Unreleased Sample

There may be countless unreleased samples of the SB Dunk because all it consists of is a combination of colors. There is no design or tech involved, but simply a task in which the right colorway is chosen. Here’s a look at an unreleased pair of the Nike SB Dunk Mid; right off that bat you can easily determine this particular pair was recently scrapped due to the strapless construction, but if you need further confirmation, the production dates on the inside tag reads late 2009. The color combination features a simple mix of navy blue, yellow, and red with multiple materials, like suede, leather, and canvas. Check out the extra images after the jump and pick up this size 9 sample pair from oregonsole on eBay.

Reebok Zig Sonic

Reebok’s all-new Zig Technology played a huge part in the brand’s re-emergence in sneaker circles of 2010. ‘Zig Tech’ is now a household name due to the ornate design of the shoe as well as the heavy marketing push, as Reebok went as far as outfitting the Jersey Shore cast with the new Zig kicks. The first Zig release was the Reebok Zig Pulse, a lightweight mesh-uppered Zig-cushioned running shoe that burst into the running scene with an eye-catching construction that was certainly hard to forget. Take a look at the all-new Reebok Zig Sonic, which features a multi-layer upper featuring mesh and a ventilated layer with a design similar to the tessellations seen on the Reebok Zig Slash basketball shoe; the silver/red, black/royal, and grey/orange you see above are just some of the outstanding colorways set to release soon, so check out the gallery of the Reebok Zig Sonic after the jump and watch for these at your nearby Reebok retailer soon because mita sneakers has these available now.

Jordan Evolution 85 Black Varsity Red White

Not long ago Sneaker News showed you the Jordan Evolution ’85, Jordan Brand’s latest Basketball/Trainer shoe that featured two straps – one at the forefoot and one at the ankle. Dwyane Wade seemed to have favored these during some offseason workouts, and so Jordan Brand had plans to release this shoe in two colorways for Spring 2011. At the risk of sounding redundant, the Evolution has changed quite a bit; first off, these jumped the clock and are available now, and secondly, the ankle strap – perhaps the one feature that made this Jordan shoe unique – is now gone. Evolution is defined as ‘change over time’, and clearly it didn’t take long for this one to do so. Check out the extra images of the Jordan Evolution ’85 after the jump and grab this new Jordan Brand release over at Finishline, and let us know which version – strapped or un-strapped – you prefer.
