UNDFTD x Converse Poorman Weapon Grey Pack

In this year that featured a million shades of grey and one huge Cool Grey Christmas release, Converse has again gotten up with LA-based streetwear label UNDFTD to put a steely twist on another collaboration.  The Undefeated x Converse Poorman Weapon is a nylon flight jacket-inspired look we’ve seen from these two three times before, and just like each of those, these joints will actually release alongside an MA1 flight jacket.  The jacket zips up and the shoes lace up, but velcro plays an important role too, as each of the side panel and tongue tag logos can be removed for a ‘stealth bomber’ look.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at UNDFTD chapter stores on Black Friday.  via Shoes-Up

Air Jordan III Retro Doernbecher – New Detailed Images

Sneaker News is giving you a chance to choose between three Air Jordan V Retro colorways as our next giveaway, with the Deep Burgundy pair the only one of that trio who could rival the above pictured pair’s ‘redness’.  One of the ‘reddest’ Air Jordans ever (the Raging Bull Fives also come to mind), this Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Doernbecher’ by Cole Johanesn features large sections of reflective 3M material like the black Raging Bulls, but no Jay has ever seen such a unique laser etching pattern.  It’s almost indescribable, a mix of geometrical patterns somewhat randomly arranged in a diagonally-oriented grid, and certainly unlike anything else we’ve seen on an Air Jordan retro release.  Have a closer look by clicking the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for updates on this December 11th drop.  via HB

NBA Feet: Kicks From Around The League 11/16/10

Here’s a look at some NBA kicks from yesterday’s games; Gilbert Arenas, who has proven to be the most interesting man in the NBA based on his sneaker rotation, wore the Air Jordan XI Space Jam again. Along with the Jams, he wore the Taxi XII, Air Jordan XI Low IE, Air Max Penny, Premio IX, and some Under Armour shoes, making for the most mixed up kick game in the league to this point. The struggling Knicks fell once again, but some notables included Landry Fields’ Kobe V ‘Blackout’ and Ronny Turiaf’s Kobe V PE/iD. Their opponent Carmelo Anthony wore the White/Obsidian Melo M7. Pau Gasol wore his own PE of the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and teammate Lamar Odom wore a black/white Hyperfuse with what appears to be a message scribbled onto the upper collar. Evan Turner’s Li-Ning Conquer, Bibby’s Air Jordan 2010 Team, Wesley Matthews’ Nike Hyperdunk, and Courtney Lee’s LeBron 8 were some other notables of the night. Check out the entire gallery from yesterday night’s games after the jump! via Yahoo!.

Nike Air DT Max 96 LE – White – Varsity Red – Black | Available

Deion Sanders’ Air DT Max 96 featured one of the most aggressive designs of the 90′s, with a shredded upper design and a fierce colorway to boot. Is the midsole tearring into the upper, or vice versa? Deion Sanders was known for his defensive prowess in the open field and the man with the charisma and charm needed shoes to go with his personality, and the Air DT Max 96 was a perfect fit. This certainly is not the first Retro release of this colorway this decade but these are still a treat whenever they release (although this version does not feature the popular goalpost logo), so catch them at Nike retailers like Extra Butter or snag a pair now on eBay.

mita sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury – Tiger Camo

The ahead-of-its-time Reebok Insta Pump Fury looked something like futuristic military-grade footwear and this new colorway certainly takes that approach. With a tiger camouflage base layer and black, orange, beige, and grey on the upper, this recently released battle-ready design conjured up by mita sneakers emphasizes the aggressive nature of the Insta Pump Fury. The original textured midsole matches the rugged nature of camouflage print, with mita sneakers’ ‘ms’ logo stitched on the tongue of the shoe. Check out the extra details after the jump and hit up mita sneakers for this one-of-a-kind collaborative release.

adidas Originals Run Softwear – Mystery – Black

Many of adidas Originals recent collaborative releases have played on Three Stripes’ heritage models, but their latest in-house efforts are more of a play on words.  The adidas Originals Run Softwear is an appropriate name for this sleek running-inspired lowtop whose LunarLon-like sole is soft to the touch.  This first colorway was a great choice, as its mix of grey and black with teal accents is so versatile you could rock them with almost any outfit imaginable.  Have a look at more shots to picture how they’d look on your feet, and grab a pair today from adidas Originals retailers like Caliroots.

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Sneaker Preview

Rapper x sneaker collaborations are nothing new at this point, but historically, there have been a lot more misses than hits. Last year, Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy defied the odds and raised the bar for future entertainer-designed sneaker endeavors, and now producer extraordinaire Swizz Beats takes his own stab at the shoe design game. In a team-up with Reebok, Swizz has helped whip up a brand new sneaker that is sure to turn a few heads when it hits retail in 2011. The shoe sports a high cut with clean lines and an extra high tongue featuring a king-size Reebok “R” tongue label, but the standout feature has to be interesting midsole design, featuring a Zig-ish pattern that creeps almost halfway up the midsole towards the rear of the shoe. Check out another pic after the jump and let us know what you think. We’ll keep you posted on more developments from the Swizz Beats x Reebok partnership.

Air Jordan VI (6) Carmine Autographed Pair by Michael Jordan on eBay

The Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ is on many ‘greatest-Jordans-all-time’ lists and the recent packaged Retro release that paired the Carmine VI with a nubuck-uppered pair of the Air Jordan XVII was a highly successful release for Jordan Brand. The Carmines itself fetch more than the cost of the entire package and rightfully so; it’s an original colorway of the shoe that Jordan won his first NBA Championship with (although he didn’t wear the Carmines until the next season),  and the color-blocking itself accentuated the radical design of the Air Jordan VI. What makes this pair even more special is that it’s autographed by the man himself; Michael Jordan’s pristine penmanship is displayed oh-so-beautifully on the upper of the right shoe, making for a perfect (and pricey) display and quite the conversation piece, and it comes with UDA certification so you know these are the real deal. A nice gallery of images await you so take a look and check out the auction from abas15 on eBay.
