Last week Sneaker News showed you an upcoming 2011 Sample pair of the Air Jordan VII in a fresh new colorway of White, Orion Blue, Infrared, and Black. That particular sample was in kids sizes and sometimes the GS products are slightly different than the Adult size products, but based on this all-new gallery of the upcoming Air Jordan VII ‘Orion Blue’, the GS to Adult transition appears to be seamless. The color-blocking is identical on both pairs but it’s nice to see the shoes in a larger scale so you can ‘guesstimate’ how these will look on your feet. The Oklahoma City Thunder are off to a slow start relative to their huge expectations this year, but there’s no slowing down the Zombie Sonics’ shoe game.  Kevin Durant has enjoyed a series of Nike Basketball player exclusives and his KDIII signature is on the way, and now here’s a new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Russell Westbrook PE.  A white shoe made for Thunder home games at OKC’s Ford Center, these joints add a hint of yellow peeking out from the sockliner to more fully represent Westbrook’s team colors than any of the other PEs we’ve seen so far.  ‘Why Not’ have a look at more shots after the jump, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the latest in NBA Feet.

Bringing back elephant print on a new design of the SB Dunk Low is a far more daunting task than it seems. The classic Nike print made its way onto the Nike SB catalog when it was used on two pairs of the Nike SB Dunk Low. The Air Jordan III-inspired theme by Supreme was executed to perfection and undoubtedly created a standard for the SB Dunk that paved the way to greatness in the sneaker culture. Sneaker News gave you an exclusive first look at the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium ‘Yellow Curb’ back in April, and of course the return of the heralded leather finish served as the spotlight for the shoe. The toebox features the classic print while the heel panel features a glossy patent-leather-like finish, but the most interesting use is seen on the midsole, where an enlarged version of elephant print is applied to the outer edge. Other interesting details include griptape material on the center panel, a Yellow Curb inspired insole, and a gum outsole. Jordan Brand’s been putting a pronounced focus on Girls footwear and this latest Girls-only colorway of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV should have the He-Man Woman Haters club steaming with jealousy. Fusion Jordans have been particularly embraced by the younger generation and this new colorway of Cool Grey, Black, and Purple tones look to be a hit with the little ladies this Holiday season; it featres a grey upper with a lighter shade of lasering on the upper, a black midsole light purple laces and inner lining, and dark purple accents around the shoe.These are surely one of the better Girls-only releases we’ve seen in a while, and now they’re available for purchase at select Jordan Brand retailers like Extra Butter, so take a look at the detailed shots after the jump and let us know what you think.

Sneaker News gave you a teaser look at the upcoming Retro release of the Nike Air Griffey Max II, but before the curtain goes up on that shoe, it appears that Nike has at least one more Air Griffey Max 1 treat for us. Arriving in 2011 is this all-new colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in White, Black, Sport Red, and Metallic Silver. Sneaker News gave you a look at this sample a while back and even alluded to this colorway being the All-Star cleat The Kid wore during the 2003 MLB All-Star Game – will these carry that ‘nickname’? The Air Griffey Max 1 is undoubtedly one of Nike’s most successful Retro releases of the decade and if this is in fact the last colorway of the Griffey 1 for now, we liken that to Jordan retiring after winning his sixth – going out on top. An NBA Feet Weekend Recap? It must be a case of the Mondays. Here’s a look at some notable kicks from the weekend’s games; C.J.Miles and Gilbert Arenas wore the Air Jordan XI Space Jam, although there are rumors of Arenas signing with Under Armour. Before the Space Jam sighting, Arenas wore the Air Jordan XII ‘Taxi’ on Friday night as well as during last Wednesday’s game. Kevin Love, who made Fantasy Basketball owners smile from ear to ear with a monstrous 30-30 game, is now with Chinese brand Peak. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James got things back on track with a Home win wearing the Air Jordan 2010 and LeBron 8 ‘China’ respectively against the Raptors, who featured Amir Johnson and Demar DeRozan in some sweet Kobe V PE/iDs. The Charlotte Bobcats aka The Jordan Brand mannequins showed off some fresh pairs, like the Air Jordan Take Flight Home and Away PEs worn by Gerald Wallace. Here’s a case of life imitating art (imitating life), a new Nike Dunk High designed by Japanese sculpter Haroshi.  Crafted in the artist’s signature style, these joints echo the multilayered work he makes from recycled skateboard decks.  While Haroshi’s pieces are created by stacking and shaving literally thousands of old handpicked decks, these joints look to be wearable and are likely the product of some combination of weaving and printing.  The Hiroshi x Nike Dunk High remains a bit of a mystery as of this writing, so have a look at more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible retail release.  via HS

The Nike LeBron VIII ‘South Beach’ is definitely not the first Miami-inspired sneaker colorway, but it’s hard to miss its similarities to the above pictured pair.  Here’s a closer look at the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 ‘South Beach’, a shoe Sneaker News showed you for the first time just last week.  In these new images, we get a better sense for how the palette echoes the city’s signature art deco motif, and our first good look at the patent leather mudguard, which has a tortoise shell marbling to imitate ocean waves on its toe.  This is the first time we’ve seen anything other than straight up gloss on an Air Jordan XI (-inspired) mudguard, so we can’t help but wonder if more textured looks are on the way.  In the meantime, have a look at this South Beach CMFT 11, which is currently on tap for a Spring 2011 release, and stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via MN

After teasing us with the promising start that was the Chlorophyll release last December, the only Nike Air Maxim 1 Trainer we’ve seen was from Nike Sportswear’s Black Pack.  The above pictured Maxim 1 Trainer is a shoe Sneaker News previewed back in June, expecting them to drop during the second half of 2010.  But as is the case with plenty of great kicks (just ask hardcore Nike SB enthusiasts), these joints were unfortunately nixed and look like they’ll never make it to retail.  One look would tell you that the Sail and Dark Cinder colorway is a winner and the gum sole makes for a must-cop, but the only person who’ll be able to enjoy their beauty is the first US mens size 9 to grab this unreleased sample from CheckMarkstheSpot on eBay.
