What would it look like if Kryptonate reverse-dunked so viciously that time went backwards? You’d end up with this practically radioactive Nike Air Foamposite Pro in Electric Green. The first new Foamposite Pro colorway to be unveiled since last summer’s Pearl redux, these Electric Green Foam Pros join the OG Dark Neon Royal and Metallic Pewter Foam Ones as Q1 2011 drops. And with the variety of Foamposite-inspired looks plus models like the Air Max Bakin ACG Boot, these upcoming seasons are injected with more Foamy kicks than ever before. Is the Electric Green Air Foamposite Pro the best of them all? Click below to get some new pics to aid your decision and stick with Sneaker News for word on the release date, though early adopters can cop one from a limited size run already from Marquee Sole.

After the home-cooked hearty meals and the tryptophan-induced “food comas”, NBA ballers were back in action with some great games for the weekend. A lot of heat was brought of the weekend games, like Kobe’s ’5 Rings’, Gilbert Arenas’ Air Jordan XI Low IE in Argon Blue, C.J. Miles in both the Rising Sun XII and Black/White AJ2, and Joe Johnson in the Air Jordan XII PE. Other notables included Kevin Durant’s KD III in the ‘Away’ Black colorway, J.J. Hickson’s tonal-yellow Zoom Sharkley PE, D-Wade’s Air Jordan 2010 PE, and Carmelo’s ‘Nuggets’ Melo M7. We also got a quick look at the debut of another signature shoe – Chris Paul’s Air Jordan CP3.IV in a black ‘Away’ colorway. Continue reading for a nice gallery of NBA Feet from the post-Thanksgiving weekend and let us know which pair of kicks are your favorite. via ESPN.

A cult favorite and one-time Nike Running headliner, the Nike Air Max Plus TN manages to pop up every now and then to remind us what the running aesthetics were all about in 1998. We’ve seen these joints in several hybrid mashups, most recently the Air Max Modular 98, but never before has the AM Plus TN been ‘tuned’ up with a straightforward upgrade. Enter the Nike Air Max Plus 1.5, a Flywire-infused update on the original Tuned Air runner that appears to have adapted well to the simple colorways that dominate in Ten. Have a look at two models on tap for next year and stick with Sneaker News for the Air MAx Plus 1.5 release dates. via Tenisfuki

The single most successful animator of the last decade, Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane has just taken his crack at the Nike LeBron VIII. And no, we’re not talking about a MacFarlane-designed LeBron 8 or anything similar to the Zoom LeBron VI ‘Stewie Griffin’, but rather an installment from Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Comedy that puts a Twilight Zone twist on the relationship between shoe and baller. It’s sorta like the Chamber of Horrors meets the MVPuppets, and while there’s no word yet on future episodes, you can always check Sneaker News for the latest Nike LeBron videos.

During a quick hooping session with some pals, President Barack Obama got hit with an accidental elbow in the lip, an injury that required twelve stitches. During the ballin’ session, Obama was wearing the Nike Air Max Elite II TB, one of the trio of the Nike Basketball Elite series that included the Huarache Elite and Shox Elite. Ba”Rock” has been known to be an avid basketball player and fan of the game, as he’s attended a few NBA games while being a player on his high-school basketball team in Hawaii. Take another look at the presidential basketball kicks after the jump and let us know if you could take President Obama in a game of 1-on-1! via CNN/ABC.

LeBron James and the Miami Heat are certainly in dire need of a jolt of energy, coming off two straight losses – one coming off a buzzer-beater from Rudy Gay and the second a miserable Home loss to the Indiana Pacers. It could come in the form of the Nike LeBron 8 V2, a lighter package of the LeBron 8 featuring a featherweight shell with exposed Flywire with perforated mesh underneath it. Last season, the Nike LeBron VII P.S. offered the same lighter construction and modified fit to adjust to LeBron’s post-season play but unfortunately the results did not match the expectations. For this season, the second stage of his LeBron 8 signature will come a lot earlier – possibly by mid-season – as the wear and tear of the NBA season takes its toll on James’ physique. Take a look at this detailed gallery of the white, black, and varsity red colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V2 and let us know if you think LeBron James will be the one hoisting an NBA Championship trophy over his head this June. via Rstor.

The Air Jordan Legacy has always held a standard of luxury in the realm of basketball performance sneakers but back in 2002, Jordan Brand had ideas of furthering that notion with the Air Jordan Two3 Da’Catti dress boot, an uber-luxurious boot with black leather uppers and a buckled belt on the ankle. The only Jordan branding appears to be at the toe of the midsole – a silver license plate of sorts with the Jordan namesake stamped proudly on its outer face. The upper features stitching that goes across the in-step for a luxurious ribbed construction with the ankle collar taking the same form, with a sleek silhouette meant for the grown man – perhaps the Jordan Grown before the Jordan Grown. At its original production date of 2002 in the Holiday season, Jordan was a player for the Washington Wizards but also a member of the front office, making these Jordans a better fit for the boardroom rather than the hardwood. This sample version seldom makes an appearance, so take another look at this rare Jordan dress boot after the jump and pick up this used size 9 sample pair from ichiro51fan on eBay.

With prices of sneakers reaching an all-time high these days, Nike did what it could to appeal to those who weren’t exactly willing to drop $200+ for a pair of kicks. During the Foamposite mania that was the year of 2010, Nike introduced the Air Max Wavy, which emulated the satiny Foamposite look but opted for a less expensive material. A plethora of colorways like Royal, Copper, Metallic Silver, Cranberry, *insert Foamposite colorway here* were released at a great price of under $100. Here’s a look at an unreleased colorway of black, purple, and red – a ‘Raptors’ combo. The upper features a tonal black upper with a Raptors trim around the midsole. The Air Max Wavy is a great option for its comfort – even some NBA ballers have worn ‘em because they’re so cush on the feet. Check out the extra shots after the jump and pick up this size 9 sample from checkmarksthespot on eBay.

Over the past year or two, we’ve seen a number of Foamposite releases, from re-issues of the originals to some eye-catching new versions, and it’s clear that Nike has no intention of slowing down. We’ve already seen various looks at the Royal and Pewter editions that will be hitting retail in 2011, but until now, we were yet to see actual photos of the much-anticipated Electric Green/Black colorway that was first previewed back in July. Finally, we get a better look at the bright green Foamposite Pro’s that are bound to spark excitement, especially for those who were big fans of the Cactus Foams or the coveted Kryptonates. These should be a little easier to get your hands on when they arrive next year. For now, check out the new pics and be sure to stay tuned for news on a confirmed release date. Via SneakerHotline.

For a guy who’s known for crafting some of the silliest looking dresses perhaps in the entire history of fashion, Hussein Chalayan’s Puma designs are crazy-clean. Hot on the heels of the tonal Urban Motus sneaker/boot is the new Hussein Chalayan x Puma Urban Glide, a hightop that’s considerably closer to the Puma heritage than the Motus. These joints come off looking like a slightly modified First Round High, but just like the Urban Motus, the Glide is superb in a duo of tonal colorups. Check out a triple black pair along with another that mixes greys with a white sole and look for them at select Puma accounts like TGWO.

Paul Rodriguez has become the Kobe Bryant of skateboarding, at least in the sense that he’s an LA legend at the peak of his powers and finds himself blessed with a new Nike signature sneaker each year. Nike SB’s P-Rod sublabel will further expand in 2011, including alongside the signature Zoom P-Rod sneaker line a whole series of P-Rod-branded apparel. We’ve been getting a fair shair of Rodriguez-inspired shirts, hats and the like, but on tap for SS ’11 is at least one cut of denim, a pair of jeans that offers shoestring drawcords and double-stitched cuffs for extra durability. Click the jump below to see the upcoming V-Rod and a preview of the P-Rod apparel lineup, and stick with Sneaker News for the first word on the inevitable Nike SB Zoom P-Rod V. via SneakersBR
