Funny it’s called the ‘Liquid Racer‘ when the cushioning relies solely on Air. However the flowing lines that sum up the design of the upper take on a liquid form based on the wavy curves, like a stream of water flowing down a downward sloping sidewalk. This new colorway of the Air Max Liquid Racer takes on a tonal-black colorway with a yellow swoosh with red and yellow accents surrounding the shoe. Something LeBron James could be seen wearing as it matches the Miami Heat uniforms (as well as LeBron’s taste for all-black kicks). In this all-new video detailing the new-and-improved NikeTown London, pro footballers Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba take you on a guided tour of the new spot that features a Nike iD studio and the unique Nike iD ‘Bootroom’, which offers customized fittings and designs for Nike football boots. Last week, DJ Clark Kent brought us our first look at a fresh new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 that may or may not turn out to be this year’s Dunkman offering. We’ll have to wait for a full look at the shoe to find out if the Dunkman logo can be found, but either way, this new version of the LeBron 8 is sure to stir up some excitement. Now, we get another sneak peek at the upcoming colorway that may throw a wrench in the works for some of its initial admirers if it does turn out to be an altered retail version of the same shoe. As you can see from these pics, the outsole and Air bag appear to be white instead of the solid neon that really seemed to make the shoe pop when we first saw it. There also seem to be different materials on the upper and black laces, so perhaps this could be a look at a potential V2 version. This follow up look at the juicy new colorway comes courtesy of MarqueeSole’s SN Blog, and you know that means that they should be showing up at their online store soon, so hopefully, we’ll finally be able to answer some of the questions looming around this intriguing new release. Jordan Brand has been offering quite a few quality ladies releases in recent months, but with their Air Jordan 13 Retro GS drops, the bar goes even higher.  It started when we previewed the Voltage Cherry AJ13, which is something like a feminized mix of the two playoff Thirteens, and we can’t help but think of Jason Kidd in the ‘Grey Toes’ when we see the above pictured pair.  The blocking is somewhat different, of course, and again, any semblance of red has been replaced on this pair by pink, namely the outsole sections visible when standing.  And with the white/grey/pink trio, this might be the single best palette so far in terms of matching the hologram jewel that rests on the AJXIII’s lateral ankle.  Check out some new preview images of this pair after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the latest Air Jordan release dates.  via Rstor

The toughest Air Force 1s to release in recent memory is the Nike Air Force 1 Tec Tuff Pack – four tonal colorways constructed with a rugged material with an increased defense. The Tec Tuff material prevents against scuffs and scrapes that inevitably occur during a daily outing, which might be a godsend to Air Force 1 heads. AF1s are tough to maintain because they fall under the dreaded “crease within one wear” but such is the price to pay when one wants to wear fresh kicks. The new Deep Burgundy colorway is a December 2010 release but have just released at select Nike Sportswear accounts like UK’S JDSports, so take a look at the gallery after the jump and pick up a pair now on eBay.

Over the years, we’ve seen some interesting colorways of basketball shoes that pay tribute to a player’s or company’s regional ties – the LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’ being a primary example. Here’s a look at the Li-Ning Yu Shuai V in a special wood-grain upper that pays tribute to the traditional wooden cow vehicles that were used as modes of military transport. The upper features a wooden applique with a white trim and the heel features tradtional proverbial characters that signify ‘transportation’ and ‘innovation’ and an insole featuring additional traditional Chinese characters . Li-Ning’s basketball footwear endeavors are surely an innovative take of transporting a player from the perimeter to the paint, as NBA pros Baron Davis, Evan Turner, Shaquille O’neal, and Hasheem Thabeet are currently wearing Li-Ning for their games. Another interesting feature of this special pair is a unique logo on the tongue of the shoe, which could possibly signify a Player Exclusive of sorts.
