While it might ruffle a couple feathers for the scant few who pay a large premium to import them, it’s usually great news to hear that a sneaker previously only available in Asia is about to drop here in the States. Will that ring true for this new pack of Nike Air Magma ACG boots? First previewed as part of the Nike Harajuku 1st Anniversary collection, these three new Magma NDs are part of the ‘Trail Athletics Pack’, and look to be releasing at Nike Sportswear retailers beyond the Tokyo flagship at the very least. Pairs in pink/black/purple, yellow/black/teal and brown/black/yellow each do a great job of maintaining the Magma legacy, so check out preview images of each pair after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible US release. via mita sneakers.

Puma brought in renown fashion designer Hussein Chalayan as Creative Director a few years ago, and here’s another super-clean release from the guy who’s known for his insane dresses. The Hussein Chalayan x Puma Urban Motus capitalizes on the influx of desert boots and chukka designs in general over the past few seasons, adding tonal leather accents to a suede base and white sole. Pairs in black, brown and navy are as simple and elegant as a sneaker-soled chukka gets, and any one of these would probably look great with your own colorful laces. Check out pics of all three pairs after the jump and grab yours today from select Puma retailers including TGWO.

Nike 6.0 seem to have finally created a instant sell out hit with their Black Friday sneaker release, the Nike 6.0 Dunk SE DeLorean. With the Nikestore release at Midnight on Black Friday, the sneaker basically sold out within 5 minutes of release and for the pairs released at retail today, most pairs were grabbed up within minutes of opening. A select number of sneaker press including Sneaker News and car press received the special hyperstrike gull wing Nike 6.0 x DeLorean box edition but the retail version came in the standard Nike 6.0 box. Any of our Sneaker News readers grab a pair? For those who missed out on this special release your only other option at this point is eBay where prices are already pretty high.

When they’re not doing up kicks in faux-stingray skin or zebra-striped pony hair, adidas Originals has demonstrated a penchant for snakeskin kicks. The latest Spring 2011 model to surface sporting an utterly animalistic look is the above pictured adidas Originals Nizza Hi Snake. These joints are a bit more believable than their glow-in-the-dark counterparts with a Bred colorup that’s something like a corn snake sans golden brown. This mix should play well in Chi-town with its white laces, toecaps, soles and Three Stripes, and you can see plenty more angles by clicking on the jump below. via GLLTN

Several recently previewed Nike Sportswear women’s sneakers have featured glossy scored leather, and the grid-cut material has shown up once again, this time with no warning. Straight past the hype machine and directly to retail is this new Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low ’07 in a high-contrast mix of black and Vivid Pink. Just two shades, but the mix of three degrees of luster on the uppers provides a nice range of tones that are sure to add to your favorite lady’s wardrobe. Have a closer look at more pictures after the jump and grab yours today at select NSW retailers like SneakersNStuff.

With so much of the cutting edge of sneaker culture imported from overseas, it’s somewhat common to see little details lost in translation. Take for instance this new adidas Originals Forum Mid ‘Waxed’, a shoe that upon its revelation was dubbed ‘Washed Pack’. The ‘Waxed’ moniker is a much better fit for these, not only because of their vibrant colorways but the use of waxed canvas along with synthetic leather on their tonal orange uppers. A neon yellow/green shade also appropriately named as ‘Slime’ comes in on the ankle and its strap and a second pair with a combo of two tones of blue like the Nike Dunk Low ‘Argon’ means you can add a jolt of color to an otherwise grey late autumn when you grab either pair from Schuh-You.

After a solid collection of colorways this summer, the Nike Aina Chukka has been conspicuously absent during the fall season. Here’s a new pair of Ainas that uses a colorway we just saw on a duo of Nike Dunks: black and Dark Garnet red. Most of the shoe is done in black suede, a look that transfers to the Aina Chukka’s signature woven side panels for a rustic feel, one that’s complimented nicely by Dark Garnet leather stretching from toe to tongue. Have a closer look at the leather-laced goodness by clicking the jump below and grab your pair today from select NSW retailers including 95Soleman on eBay.

This may be a holiday week, but the sneaker world never rests. This past week brought a ton of goodies, but of course, most people’s priorities were on the huge crop of Black Friday releases hitting stores this week. We already knew about drops like the Flint XIIIs, Bin 23 AJ VIIs and Black Air Force 1 Foamposites, but a few juicy releases like the DeLorean Dunks and the AF1 Destroyer Pack popped up out of nowhere. Hopefully you didn’t blow all your cash though, because there’s plenty more good stuff on the way. We got some nice looks at the Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs,’ the AJ III Retro packaging and the upcoming Christmas edition of the Zoom Kobe VI.
Elsewhere in the basketball world, the Zoom KD III hit retail this week and Kevin Durant celebrated by showing them off on the NBA court, while Gilbert Arenas got some attention of his own for showing up to play in a pair of Jordan CMFT 12′s. LeBron made some news of his own with the unveiling of his new logo and a sneak peek at a Dunkman-ish colorway of the Nike LeBron 8. Aside from the b-ball realm, it appears that Nike has plenty of other projects in the works like collaborations with Stussy, PlayStation and a fresh new line of LIVESTRONG kicks. Keep reading for this week’s Sneaker News Weekly Rewind for the latest info on all these stories and more.

If you checked out the Sneaker News feature Michael Jordan Through The Years: Air Jordan III, you would have learned that the shoe itself almost never happened. Michael Jordan had expressed a desire to jump ship and climb aboard another vessel, but Tinker Hatfield’s magic touch lured Jordan back for good. With elephant print added to appease Jordan’s desire for an animalistic texture and tumbled leather for the luxurious feel, the resultant Air Jordan III was introduced into the world and immortalized into the sneaker culture as one of the greatest footwear designs of all time. The White/Cement Grey pair was last re-issued in 2001 with ‘Nike Air’ on the heel and will arrive in 2011 with the Jumpman logo taking its place. Everything else remains the same, so we expect these to fly off shelves while giving a necessary refresher to sneaker collections around the globe. A detailed gallery awaits you so take a look at these images from Rstor and snag a pair early from eBay.
