Nike Zoom Don – White – Black – Red | Unreleased Sample

Prepare to see a number of unreleased colorways of the Nike Zoom Don; the popular Zoom-cushioned running shoe of 90′s returned in 2010 in basketball-shoe form, but the curiosity at the outset didn’t translate into sales. There’s no doubt that the Zoom Don would be a comfortable basketball shoe, but sneaker purists just couldn’t see it in another form. Imagine the Air Max 95 as a basketball shoe: Yeah. Not so good. Since the last general release colorway hit stores (and at the end stayed in stores), we’ve shown you some other colorways of the Zoom Don that Nike decided to push the brakes on. Another casualty of retail war is this white, black, and red sample, which resembles the Sneaker News’ Classics Revisited feature on the Nike Air Swift to an odd degree. More images of this sample await you so give them a quick look at pick them up from checkmarksthespot on eBay.

Nike Air 180 – White – Moss Green – Photo Blue | Available

Nike is simply catering to the European demand of Air Max trainers because our sneakerhead brethren across the pond get a ton more Nike Air Max/Sportswear releases than Americans do. “EU exclusive” is the bane of the existence of any U.S.-based sneakerhead and this new colorway of the Nike Air 180 is just dousing the already raging flames while our friends overseas are teasing us with these fresh new releases. Metallic Summit White – just a few degrees off of regular white – is used as the base with simple colorblocking of photo blue on the Air Unit housing and inner lining, with moss green adding a nice earthiness on the swoosh and heel. Take a look at these new images of the Air 180 via eukicks and pick up a pair over at Size? or get yours now on eBay.

Air Jordan 2010 3M Laser Sample Detailed Images

A few days ago, we brought you a look at an intriguing sample version of the Air Jordan 2010. Not to be confused with the Metallic Silver edition that hit stores a few weeks back, this Air Jordan 2010 features a full 3M upper covered with the signature style of Jordan laser printing that we’ve seen on previous Air Jordan models starting with the Air Jordan XX. After getting a look at some small pics the other day, we now zoom in for a closer look at the finer details of the shoe. There is nothing at this point to indicate that these will hit retail, but you know we’ll keep you posted if there’s any news on that. Take a look at a bunch of nice pics after the jump and let us know if you’d cop these if they release.

New Nike LeBron Logo Revealed

When it was announced that LeBron would be changing his number from 23 to 6, it was safe to say that we’d seen the last of the “L23″ logo that has appeared on the Nike LeBron line for years. For the Nike LeBron 8, there was no LeBron logo to speak of, just his signature and the lion head that has become synonymous with the Nike LeBron line as well. When we sat down to talk with LeBron designer Jason Petrie a few weeks back, we asked about the possibility of a new logo, but now we’re getting a look much earlier than we were led to believe. During last night’s NBC Person of the Year interview with Matt Lauer, King james was seen wearing a polo sporting a new logo that continues to use the crown concept by placing the crown from the original logo on top of an “LJ” to form a larger crown. Look for the new LeBron logo to begin appearing on Nike LeBron shoes and gear in 2011.

According to CNBC’s Darren Rovell:

Nike has just confirmed to me that this is LeBron’s new logo. Their statement:

“In his interview with NBC airing November 25th, LeBron is wearing a polo (shirt) featuring his new logo. We are really pleased that it incorporates LeBron’s initials “L” and “J” and retains the crown from his previous iconic logo. The new logo will appear on LeBron’s product in 2011 and on quick strike product.”

Dr. Seuss x Converse All Star – Grinch Pack

When an all green Nike Zoom Kobe VI surfaced as Kobe Bryant’s Christmas Day colorway, it was natural to associate them with the holiday’s greenest fictional character: Dr. Seuss’ Grinch.  Dude was not only covered in lime colored fur, but he was among the more jealous villains on record before the tiny Hoos melted his heart.  It’s a story for the ages, and whether the above mentioned ZK6 was inspired by this tale, Cato from the Green Hornet or both, here’s a look at an official Dr. Seuss collaboration effort that requires zero speculation.  The Dr. Seuss x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Grinch Pack contains ten different models spread across both high and lowtop models in adult and kids sizes.  They range from full on Grinch faces on the lateral heels to subtler designs and all are currently available at the source: Converse.

NBA Feet: Kicks From Around The League Thanksgiving 2010

Not everyone has the day off on Thanksgiving, as four NBA teams were in action on the night of the biggest cheat-meal of the year. The Washington Wizards faced off against the Atlanta Hawks in a great showing of kicks, as Gilbert Arenas wore the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 again while teammate John Wall repped the Zig Slash and Andray Blatche and Nick Young wore their personalized pairs of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. Atlanta’s Kobe V showing was impressive as well, as Marvin Williams wore the Kobe V ‘USA’ while Josh Powell had his own rendition of red-white-blue. Joe Johnson also wore the Jordan Six Rings in a matching colorway as well. Out West, an inter-California battle between the Clippers and Kings took place, with Eric Bledsoe wearing the white colorway of the LeBron VII P.S. and rising star Blake Griffin wearing the Nike Hyperfuse. One the opponent’s side was Tyreke Evans and the Nike Hyperdunk 2010. Check out all the Thanksgiving Day action after the jump and let us know who deserves the prized turkey leg! via ESPN.

Dizzee Rascal x Nike Air Force 1 – Unreleased Sample

English rapper and songwriter/musician Dizzee Rascal produced something not so ‘stank’ last year when he designed a pair of the Nike Air Max 90, one of Sneaker News’ Top 30 Shoes of 2009. Here’s a look at an unreleased sample of the Nike Air Force 1 that was also drawn out by Dizzee. The upper features a mix of premium materials – flat leather on the toe, brown suede on the center panel, and red ostrich suede on the rear portion – with the tongue featuring a stitched applique of his recording label ‘Dirtee Stank’. Additional special messaging on the heels in the form of ‘Fix Up’ and ‘Look Sharp’, but the most glaring design feature of this unreleased sample is, of course, the steaming pile of…chocolate on the heel. Check out the extra shots of this unreleased sample after the jump and let us know what you think of the design! via soonyoullunderstand.
