When you think about Jordan Brand’s history of innovation, it’s hard to fathom that the Air Jordan Take Flight is the first JB basketball performance sneaker with heel-to-toe Max Air.  Considerably less surprising that the above pictured colorway is among the first to drop, a Bred edition that seems to hearken back to the Air Jordan Legacy more so than previous palettes.  The Take Flight’s columnar sidepanel stitching is vaguely reminiscent of the Air Jordan IX’s descending lines, with this sweep also similar to AJX and XI’s eyelets.  A patent leather mudguard makes the Jordan 11 tie-in even stronger, but unlike the Cool Grey AJXI that drops at the end of the month, these are available now at Finish Line.
