Here’s a look at a sneaker that almost made it to retail, and in more ways than one. The above pictured Nike SB Dunk High is crafted in a mix of Dark Army suede and black leather, plus Varsity Purple on the patent leather Swooshes. These joints are an unreleased sample that will never see store shelves, though it does look something like a cross between early 2010 SB Dunk releases ‘Skunk‘ and another people were calling the ‘Sacramento Kings‘. The Cali-based hybrid theme continues as some have speculated these might be a ‘Northern Lights‘ sample, but they could have just as easily been a nice darkly hewn drop for the cold weather months.
