The Countdown Packs of x+x=23 numbered Air Jordans were among the biggest sneaker releases of 2008. This numerical concept is repeated on a single shoe, one that combines two of the least likely Jordans to be associated. And we’d seen the Air Jordan 12.5 and 16.5 mashup ‘prequel/sequel’ combos but the Air Jordan 6-17-23 reaches across two decades, two teams and two retirements for a look that’s surprisingly natural. This first release utilizes one of the standout shades of red that made the AJVI supremely excellent, Carmine, alongside black suede on the front and white leather on the rear sections. well it is a business, when it comes down to it, its really just about making money. Jordan brand just cant keep on releasing retroes forever…i mean that would suck. So they have to come up with new ideas, even if we dont like it. Truth is they make money off these fusions that we think are crap.

if only there was black where the white was or white where the black was. OR OR heres an idea. why not just retro the 17s? i mean its been 8 years now. surely thats long enough. i mean the flints only have a 5 year span between them.

the material on the black parts of this shoe is called NUBUCK, not suede. it appears that a majority of the sneaker community is not aware that there is a difference between these two materials, a fact which i find appalling. do your readership a favor and get your information right, it's seriously not that hard.
