The Countdown Packs of x+x=23 numbered Air Jordans were among the biggest sneaker releases of 2008. This numerical concept is repeated on a single shoe, one that combines two of the least likely Jordans to be associated. And we’d seen the Air Jordan 12.5 and 16.5 mashup ‘prequel/sequel’ combos but the Air Jordan 6-17-23 reaches across two decades, two teams and two retirements for a look that’s surprisingly natural. This first release utilizes one of the standout shades of red that made the AJVI supremely excellent, Carmine, alongside black suede on the front and white leather on the rear sections. Check out more shots by clicking on the jump below and get ready for the Air Jordan 6-17-23 to hit Jordan Brand retailers on January 8th.
