Jay-Z’s a New York native but there hasn’t been a better time of the year to be out of his hometown than right now, because NYC is mired in a 30-degree frigid slump at the moment. Mr. and Mrs. Carter were out together enjoying some gorgeous t-shirt-and-shorts climate, which Jay-Z sporting the Air Jordan III Black/Cement from the Collezione Package of Holiday 2008. Jay-Z was last spotted on the New Jersey Nets courtside wearing Winterized Spiz’ike Boots, but clearly there was no need to keep his feet warm in that sunny and comfortable weather. How do you distinguish between CDP 3's and the 2001 Retro 3's? Why's it so certain these are the CDP ones?

The 2001 version featured NIKE AIR on the heel, not the Jumpman Air logo. Look here:

In addition the 2003 Retro of the White/Cement Grey colorway also featured the Jumpman, not the Nike Air, which is why the upcoming 2011 Retro doesn't hurt so bad!

I'm starting to think the hype for shoes definitely manufactured!! these are NOT the 2008s there the 2011s, tom cruise was in the 2011 concord XIs not the DMPs, and drake was in the 2011 Bordeaux VII not the OGs.. product placement to the max! I just don't see those guys keeping a pair around or buying at resell prices when they can get the new models…
