Years before the mashup-friendly 2000s officially made it OK to express previously (seemingly) disparate interests, the Puma Clyde was crossing boundaries and breaking barriers like that kid at your school who’s somehow in with all the cliques. Originally conceived as a basketball shoe for New York Knicks guard Walt ‘Clyde’ Frasier, the Puma Clyde has been a key contributor to the history of hip-hop, skate/punk and electronic music subcultures, and now Sneaker Freaker looks to chronicle the 35+ year vet’s historic run.
