Last week one of the top stories on Sneaker News was a pair of Air Force 1 Bespokes designed by Brandon Renken. The shoes were used by Renken as a unique method of proposal to his girlfriend (and fortunately, now his fiance), and many of our readers were delighted to see a sneakerhead with a beautiful beau that not only appreciated but also embraced his love of footwear. Nothing gets a sneakerhead’s blood flowing faster than a fine woman in some fine sneaks and we can easily deem Davyc3 one of the luckiest men alive, because his bride walked down the aisle with a pair of the Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary. Now, we’re all aware how some women get during the wedding-planning process, but Davyc3′s ‘bridezilla’ seemed to have no problem ditching her glass slippers for some iced-out soles and patent leather. Congratulations to Davyc3 and his new wife, who are now on their way to their own 25th Anniversary.

thats stupid, and played out man. I'm a happily married man with kids and hundreds of shoes and this idea is so childish and down plays the wedding ceremony. I get it, it's their wedding, do you – but if you're going to put it on a blog, to show off, then expect to get flamed. We have our entire life to wear sneakers, why not look nice and presentable at your wedding. I would imagine you don't wear jordans to clubs becuase they don't allow it, but you still go, so why not leave the sneaks at home for a weedding.

I have no intention to hate and I'm a female who loves her jordans and wears them on the daily but for some reason I've seen people do this for so many weddings but I can't find anything pretty or cute about a woman wearing her wedding dress with a pair of sneakers. If anything I just find it down right tacky. I understand guys thinkin girls look hot in kicks with some jeans or somethin fitted but not in a pouffy wedding dress?? I'm just sayin but I will admit the first pic with the 11's showing in the mirror is cutee and it would've been more appropriate if they would've done a photo session with both of them rocking their jordans in all white outfits but not their wedding attire.

I'm not hating on this couple but imo I really think that rocking a pair of Jordans on your wedding day is childish. No matter how rare or expensive your Jay is, it just doesn't fit together with a wedding ceremony. Wedding is meant to be mature and a pair of shoes will go 1000x better with tuxedo than a pair of Jays. This actually make their wedding look more like high school prom. Just my two cents.
