Enjoying that #1 overall pick contract, the instant star-treatment, and the signature shoe line – you couldn’t tell John Wall nuthin’. That is, unless, you’re five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant. John Wall, who has missed a third of his first NBA season thus far, will be sitting out tonight’s match-up against the Lakers. Kobe Bryant isn’t new to injury, but he’s shown an unmatched resolve when it comes to playing through pain, so when asked for a piece of advice for the ailing John Wall, Kobe Bryant said “Buy Nikes”. Brevity is certainly the soul of wit, but perhaps Kobe was just sending a few playful jabs in Wall’s direction. Nevertheless, Kobe will be out there tonight and Wall will be nursing his knee like a 73-year-old geriatric, so let us know what you think of Kobe’s comments after the jump. via MichaelLee.

it's not the shoe, Wall does play at an extremely rapid pace. He could stand slowing down a bit and letting the game come to him and not being sent to the floor every drive to the basket.
Give it time John Wall and Reebok are gonna create something memorable.

He shouldn't have signed with Reebok in the first place. I hope they paid him way more than Nike offered because as I recall, they only gave Iverson 1 shoe worth wearing.

i think those zigsgot some effect on it. u can just take a running shoe make it a high top then expect it to preform. thats y u dont see nike free 3.0 basketball shoes. i tried ballin in pair of nike free 5.0 once and i wasnt even goin hard and rolled my ankle.

Grips are important in a high impact sport like Basketball. The wrong sneakers will decrease the lifespan of an NBA carreer….See Chris Webber shitty Dada sneakers….Yao Ming wore low quality Reeboks….ZigZags? Yeah that's some weak ass cushioning.
