In the three years prior to last season, playoff time meant LeBron James was switching to the newest Zoom LeBron Soldier sneaker. That changed in 2010 when the LeBron VII PS relegated the Soldier IV to ‘summer shoe’ status, and with the LeBron 8 V2 following in the PS’ footsteps, where will the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier V end up? The Soldier 5 follows after both LeBron 8s and adds its own twist, with some colorways made up entirely of Flywire while others go for V2-style perforations. But every pair has the Soldier series’ signature strap, this time moved up from the midfoot to more of an ankle height. Check out a bunch of colorways after the jump; everything from Miami-inspired to Think Pink is depicted so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more Zoom LeBron Soldier V release info. via aaront

The soldier IVs looked weird at first too, im sure the official ones will look better. The soldier Lebron series are popular around the league and for good reason because they are very comfortable and perform great.
