Nike Hyperfuse 2011 Preview

While it’s commonly known that many retailers make most of their profits during the holiday shopping season, you can’t remain a dominant industry leader without constantly pushing the bar.  So even as some of their biggest releases of 2010 hit retailers, Nike continues to offer technological improvements on their already stellar footwear lineup.  Sneaker News started the week with our first look at the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 and followed that up Tuesday with our first glimpse into the Hyperdunk 2011.  And with more players in the NBA wearing the Zoom Hyperfuse than any other sneaker this year, let’s have another look at next year’s update.

The most obvious change has gotta be the accent insets that allow for a two-toned upper with a third coming in on the side panel Swooshes.  Its super-simple blocking options are part of what make the Hyperfuse so beautiful so the 2011 version will offer a breath of fresh air with these contrasts.  We have photos of the first nine colorways to be revealed awaiting your click on the jump below so have a better look and let us know which one you’d pick.  via CK

  5. Nate Says:

Those colorways are terrible. The only decent cw I've seen so far was from the last post about these. Why is there a maize swoosh on almost all these?

  6. jr_lyon Says:

    THESE LOOK LIKE WRESTLING SHOES!!!!!

  7. auditude Says:

I thought the first was bad, these are garbage. Nike needs to just stick with retro's if this is what they are coming up with.

Are these going to be full zoom air (forefoot + backfoot) or just forefoot like the Hyperfuse 2010?

  16. just a guy Says:

same thing as the last ones except the swoosh is on a thick ass triangle block

  17. Kalashnikov Says:

The new Hyperfuse 2011 would looked better if it had more of the mesh material in the overall shoe design like the 2010's. Looking at the colorway of previews 2-6, I dont know what color theory these designers are following. I love the black and varsity gold pair that Lamar Odom had worn during Lakers 2011 first round playoff series. I think some sneaker heads will grow to like Nike latest creation of hyperfuse. It took me a minute to get use to the first ones, still not feeling the second version Nike Air Max Fly By.
