The last pair of adidas Originals ZX8000s we saw here on Sneaker News had its top eyelet replaced by a boot-style hook, and while this new pair for next spring isn’t so rugged, it follows a similar blocking pattern to an equally pleasing result. These joints are almost entirely grey and mostly suede and nubuck, some of which is embossed with snake scales to enhance the tonal depth and subtly nod at some of Three Stripes’ wilder Spring 2011 offerings. A black sole is perhaps the perfect choice if you’re going for a bright yellow tongue and lining like the one that appears on this pair, a sign that we can expect 2011 to be just as clean as ‘Ten.
