Christmas is the holiday of giving, regardless of whether or not you follow the holiday for its religious origins or for the fun spirited atmosphere. And on Christmas Day, there’s no better gift to give (or get) than one of the three Christmas Day 2010 colorways of the three major Nike Basketball signature shoes. Sneaker News recently gave you a detailed look at all three pairs – the Nike LeBron 8 V.2, Nike Zoom Kobe VI, and Nike Zoom KD III – and starting midnight tonight, any one of the three pairs can be yours to keep. All three holiday-inspired colorways will be showcased on the feet of their respective owners on Christmas Day as well, as the Lakers and Heat will face off against each other while Durant’s Thunder will take on the Denver Nuggets elsewhere. While all three share the same Christmas spirit, the LeBron 8 V.2, Zoom Kobe VI, and Zoom KD III could not be more different, so continue reading for another look and let us know which of the three colorways you’re looking forward to most.

Just last week Sneaker News gave you a Live, first-hand look at the official unveiling of the Jordan CP3.IV during the Jordan Brand media summit in New Orleans, Louisiana. The CP3.IV features the lowest cut ever on the Chris Paul signature shoe, and combined with the breathable upper and Cushlon midsole, the IV may be the best one yet, and with a healthy Chris Paul leading the charge this season, the New Orleans Hornets should be a familiar name come playoff time. The CP3.IV is set for an official release next month but you can grab this New Orleans Hornets ‘Away’ colorway of Black, Varsity Purple, Orion Blue, and Sunstone now from id4shoes on eBay.

Just because there’s a lowtop V.5 version on the way for spring doesn’t mean we won’t see more new Jordan V.2 Grown colorups. In fact, here’s visual proof to the contrary, a new two-toned model that’s almost a surefire hit with the ladies and a definite statement for fashion forward dudes. They combine a black tumbled nubuck upper with Bright Violet on the sole and laces for a blacklit look that’ll add some energy to the spring collection. Kobe Bryant is credited for making the low-cut basketball shoe popular, but he certainly isn’t the first to go low with his kicks. In the 2000′s, guys like Steve Nash, Allen Iverson, and Gilbert Arenas all sported low-cut kicks, a basketball shoe construction that was once considered a faux-pas due to its lack of ankle support. Steve Nash has done just fine since, and although the Zoom Speed Low II (sequel to the Zoom Speed Low) isnt Steve’s shoe (it’s the Zoom Go Low), it’s something you’d expect him to wear. The upper features a faux-reptilian print on the heel and lace placket, with Zoom cushioning and a herringbone traction. Take another look after the jump and expect these to hit in Spring 2011. via taobao.

The holiday shopping season is winding to a close but winter just started this Tuesday. With months of nasty weather still ahead of us, it’s a particularly nice suprise that Santa has left this totally unhyped Nike Air Force 1 High from the apparently still-growing Tec Tuff Pack. These joints are crafted in the same rugged abrasion-resistant leather as the other Tec Tuff AF1s, and this pair literally picks up where the black joints left off, going those extra few inches to insure your entire foot stays warm and dry. Click on the jump below to get a better look and lock your AF1 High Tec Tuff Pack today from 95soleman on eBay.

The Nike Zoom Flight V (now the ‘Uptempo V’) released in the mid-90′s with the big-’ol jewel on the midfoot, offering some level a stability and a whole lot of visual appeal. The turf-shoe like bumpy traction also gave the Zoom Flight Uptempo V reminds you of Barry Sanders’ Zoom Turf, but these were intended for hardwood use instead of the open grass field. The Zoom Uptempo V returned again in recent years in a number of colorways – a similarly color-blocked white and orange blaze and a far more eccentric metallic silver pair, and now this all-new white/red pair is ready for you to cop. The Uptempo V is a popular shoe in Asia, which is why they’re available now at washinsp, so check out the extra shots after the jump and we’ll let you know when/if these hit the states.

Thank the sneaker gods for retro releases because without them, the only you’d be able to enjoy your favorite classics would be through some outdated archive. Not only do Retro releases allow you to re-live your childhood days, you get to experience your favorite sneakers in wild new colorways, like this all-new Air Pegasus ’89 in a great new combination of grey tones and yellow, pink, and blue. The upper features two different tones of grey while the two-piece midsole features a citrus-y yellow at the forefoot and a salmon pink on the rear, with a light blue lining around the tongue. Titolo just got these in so take another look after the jump and head there to get back on the Retro wagon!

We saw a Dunk High previewed as part of the ‘Be True To Your Street’ collection a couple weeks ago that has pretty much identical colorblocking to this new pair. Both are all red with a gum sole and black lining, but the High is crafted in suede and leather whereas this new pair of Nike Dunk Lows goes for a material you don’t see too terribly often. You might see the light ribbing and think, “Oh, that’s denim, right?” But it’s not denim at all, rather a cotton fleece that takes suede’s place as the ‘soft’ material on this design. The heathered fleece sections make the tumbled leather overlay seem super vivid and white laces practically have these begging to be released in time for Valentines Day. A release date has yet to be announced but you can see a bunch more photos by clicking on the jump below. via Dunk

We left you on a cliffhanger when we showed you the last Dominate Another Day mission – did Agent D3 escape the Zen Master’s Lair? After getting in contact with Specialist H and with just seconds left before being minced into pieces by a slow-moving, metal piercing laser, Agent D3 dodged another bullet as he managed to elude the grasp of the Zen Master’s torture chamber and an army of minions before escaping, leaving the fiery explosion. It looks like Agent D3 will arrive to practice just in time before tomorrow’s much-anticipated showdown with the Snake Charmer: Will tomorrow be Agent D3′s Day to Dominate. Check out the video after the jump as well as another teaser look at the Air Jordan 2011 and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on Agent D3′s mission.

During Memphis’ showdown with Georgetown yesterday at the FedExForum, Memphis players Will Barton and Joe Jackson as well as Georgetown’s Chris Wright, Jason Clark, and Austin Freeman wore the freshly released Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ during the game. The Cool Greys, which released earlier that day, were clearly a popular choice among the players as members of opposite teams dressed in unison (at least on their feet). Other notable sneakers of that game included Henry Sims’ Air Jordan XVI.5, Nate Lubick’s Air Jordan XII ‘Taxi’, and Tarik Black’s Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’. Check out all the heat from last night’s game after the jump and let us know which team won the sneaker battle! via AP.

We saw Skullcandy at the center of a sick Air Jordan IX FTLOTG Retro this summer, and with all apologies to that excellent effort, if you were going to make an over-the-ear headsphone into a sneaker collaboration, it really *should* be with the crown brand. Sony applied the look of their new Piiq series of supra-aural cans (which you may have seen advertised here at the top of Sneaker News) with the Supra Skytop II, using Supra’s rugged TUF material to echo the Piiq’s durable, impact resistant construction. Will these release to retail or be crazy-limited like the Sony x Nike collabos we’ve seen? Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Complex-curated Sony Piiq x Supra Skytop II.

First popping up on Sneaker News a few weeks back, today we get our first look at a real pair of Air Jordan F2Fs. These photos reveal a slightly different result than the scanned first image, but the overall feel and Air Jordan XIV nod remain intact. What previously appeared to be a translucent section of outsole still has some translucency, but it’s actually an opaque Stealth grey on the sides and the clear part sticks to the middle where it reveals a forefoot Zoom Air cushion. Will these perform as well as the ‘Last Shot’ sneaker that inspired them? Be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more on the Jordan F2F release date and click below to see more angles right now. via chapter-ex.
