When you’re winning 13 of 14 games in the NBA, you typically wouldn’t want to change a thing. But that’s exactly what LeBron James did when his Miami Heat met up with Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers on Christmas Day. You may have seen LeBron on ABC wearing the Nike LeBron 8 V2 in its ‘Christmas’ colorway en route to a decisive win, but what about after the festivities have ended? The LeBron 8 V2 is intended to be King James’ mid-season sneaker, so these would work perfectly as the home pair, with their white bases giving way to Heat-matching black and red accents. The NBA playoffs start in late April and it remains to be seen when LeBron’ll make the permanent shift over to the V2, but this pair will hit retail far before that. They’re slated for early January, so have a closer look after the jump and let us know which LeBron 8 you prefer. via Dunk.

Set to drop midway through January 2011 about a month after the ‘Altitude’ Air Jordan XIII Retro is this new Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 that also goes with an all-black look but relies on a different shade of bright green for accents. The sockliner and sole on these CMFT Vis Air 11s is hewn in the familiar Volt shade of neon green, which makes for a nice contrast and seems to add some ‘light’ to the tonal black Elephant print mudguard. So we’ve seen the South Beach CMFT 11s with a marbled ocean texture on its patent leather mudguard, Sole Collector’s in carbon fiber and now these with the immortal Elephant print — which CMFT 11s have the best look? If you’re feelin this Anthracite/Volt pair, you can grab em a few weeks early courtesy of Kicks-Crew.

We just saw the Deep Burgundy pair that shares a similar theme, now here’s a close-up look at another Nike WMNS Skinny Dunk High from the ‘Be True To Your Street’ collection. A big focus from Nike Sportswear’s spring catalog, the BTTYS Skinny Dunk pictured above offers a glimpse into warmer weather with its Light Bone textile uppers offering a soft cloud illuminated by the madras plaid rainbow on its side panels. We’d seen several gingham Dunks in recent years but this might top ‘em all, and is sure to leave guys wishing the BTTYS plaid Skinny Dunks were extended into a full-size run. Even if you can’t fit em, you can see more photos after the jump and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike Dunk release dates. via Dunk

It looks like a duck, it quacks like a duck, but we assure you – this is no duck. The Nike ACG Woodside Boot was introduced last year as a stylish and street-ready alternative for wet weather conditions, but the Woodside boot might not be suitable for rain. The ACG Woodside Boot features ventilations on the bottom sole for breathability, but of course whatever can escape through that route can also come in (i.e. rain water). These should be reserved for casual wear only, and for that, the Woodside Boot is a great choice. This new colorway combines classic duckboot colorway of pecan and birch with a varsity royal trim, and are available now from empiresm on eBay.

Could the fact that (Humara + Terra Humara = Air Umara) be any more confusing? It’s a bit of a tongue twister for sure and while the Air Umara’s higher cut can be great for extra support, you can’t go wrong with the model upon which it’s literally based. The Nike Air Terra Humara is back for the first time in a good while, appearing in an all-black everything colorup that’s a little tame compared to what we’ve come to expect from All Conditions Gear. It’s named after a running shoe but aside from the sole, the adidas Originals ZX 800 Casual looks like a wide-ranging boot hybrid. These moc-toed midtops have a chukka-leaning lace placket with eyelet hooks on the top two reminiscent of workboots, and you gotta figure the rich brown leather used on this pair could work well on any of its constituent models. Next time you gotta be somewhere that doesn’t ‘allow’ sneakers but you just can’t sacrifice comfort, consider grabbing a pair of ZX800 Casuals; Caliroots has ‘em.

Absent since this summer’s collaboration with San Francisco-based boutique HUF, here’s a quartet of new Pro-Keds 69er colorways for the holiday season. This 69er Wool Pack is well timed with their fuzzy uppers so toasty you can practically feel yourself getting warmer just looking at them. The comparisons to the Woolrich x Converse Chuck Taylors are inevitable but grabbing a pair of Pro-Keds certainly makes a different and perhaps more calculated statement. Click through to see black, grey, navy and red pairs all with sole stripes to match their uppers and grab a pair now at select Pro-Keds retailers like Britain’s Foot Patrol.

There was somewhat more straightforward pack of New Balance H710 Trail kicks released at select Asian retailers earlier this year, but this latest pair looks to combine all types of boots into one. The timing seems right for the H710 Sherpa, a boot that brings together trail and work boot aesthetics with a sherling lining that serves to punctuate the outrageous look. Seriously; have you ever seen a Timberland-style wheat suede right beside vivid purple AND a black/pink grid?! A black and grey pair with fuzzy pink guts is practically tame by comparison, but as a pack, these are among the crazier boot/sneakers we’ve seen and they just hit Japan’s mita sneakers.

A ‘Hiking Boot’ Pack of Nike Terminator Highs released earlier this season, and while this new pair also features d-rings for the top two eyelets, the end result is entirely different. That’s thanks to this WMNS Terminator High Basic’s reliance upon a dinner mint mix of accents atop a white base. It’s sorta like what snow in Miami might look like, and that bizarro feel carries over to the cooky ‘NIKE’ block lettering we’ve seen occasionally, this time in neon pink. Will we start to see more ultrabrite colorways in the coming year? On Christmas Day, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant each wore their respective signature Nike Basketball shoes in festive colorways that matched with the lively holiday spirit. Out in Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant wore the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Grinch’ against LeBron James’ Nike LeBron 8 V.2 ‘Christmas’, which speckled the Staples Center hardwood with Christmas treats. Out in Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant welcomed the fans with a vibrant yellow colorway of the Nike Zoom KD III, which seemed to give Durant a nice boost as he finished with 44 points while leading the Thunder to victory. There was a great collection of other kicks from Christmas Day, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for a full recap of NBA kicks from this holiday weekend, but check out this sweet gallery of Kobe, LeBron, and KD after the jump and let us know which of the three you like best! via ESPN/Yahoo!.
