Celebrity Feet: Nate Robinsons Air Max 1 iD Collection

Nate Robinson‘s been at the forefront of the NBA sneaker-game ever since he entered the league in 2005 as a late first-round pick from the Knicks (via the Suns). Nate’s been known to wear some heat during his college days, but his sneaker-fame in the NBA is solely due to his rising up the ranks – literally – by dunking over anyone with a pulse and capturing the hearts of the undersized around the globe. During his time with the Knicks and the Celtics, has gone against the team-sneaker trend and has worn some notable kicks like the Zoom LeBron IV ‘Birthday’, the Altitude XIII (long before the 2010 version was even confirmed), and a number of other Jordan Retros, but in this latest twitter video, Nate Robinson sheds light on one of his favorite sneakers – the Nike Air Max 1. He’s gotten positively iD crazy because his sneaker closet is filled with Nike Air Max 1 iDs, so check out his collection video after the jump and let us know which colorway stands out the most!

Nike Zoom KD III ‘Christmas Day’ | Release Info

Despite minor ailments to his left knee and ankle this season, Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Kevin Durant has managed to retain his clutch on the NBA scoring title.  Last year’s PPG champ will be playing a big role in the NBA’s annual Christmas Day showcase and when the Denver Nuggets roll into OKC, Durant will defend the Ford Center in this new Nike Zoom KD III.  The Christmas Zoom KD III is unlike fellow Nike Basketball megastars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James’ Santa-day sigs, opting for a more uniform-friendly Vibrant Yellow look instead of something red/green/white.  Should be an interesting day all around the Association, so be sure to check out our NBA Feet recap and look for the Nike Zoom KDIII ‘Christmas Day’ on Saturday the 25th at Eastbay.

Nike Air Max 1 – ‘Terra Huarache’ | Available Again @ Nikestore

Don’t rub your eyes – this is indeed the Nike Air Max 1 in Olive Grey, Chutney, and Grape that released back in 2006. Inspired by classic Nike ACG color-blocking, this Air Max 1 was a popular release when it was released at select Nike accounts over four years ago as it featured a rugged outdoors-y colorway and a speckled midsole, which, to some, deemed these a gotta-have-it release based on that design feature alone. Somehow, somewhere, a number of sizes re-appeared and were then made available on Nikestore one full presidential term later, so if you’ve been looking around for these, head to Nikestore now and pick up one of the select sizes available.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Black Varsity Red White | Detailed Images

With the recent availability of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI on Nike iD, you may have been contemplating some crazy colorways of the Kobe VI, but all you need to do is check out some of the GR colorways. The ‘Grinch’ colorway, Glass Blue, or even this Black, White, Varsity Red, and Dark Grey colorway serves up some nice varieties of head-turning combinations, but chalk that up to the polyurethane snakeskin upper. This colorway of black, red, and white is quite simple and has been a common one for Nike Kobes, but as stated before, the snakeskin shell provides an outstanding pop never before seen on any other sneaker. Take another look at the detailed images of this upcoming colorway and stick with Sneaker News for more Kobe VI updates. via taobao.

Celebrity Feet: Drake Air Jordan VII (7) Bordeaux

During his performance at the 94.9 Wildjam in San Jose, CA, Aubrey Graham aka ‘’ wore the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ to match his all-black ensemble. Likely to be the upcoming Retro version (the OGs would probably be unable to handle Drake’s animated performance style), Drake’s kicks matched just fine with all-black and managed to stand out with the charcoal grey and hints of Bordeaux as well as the other bright colors seen on this colorway. Drake’s been Jordan-friendly with his 2010 appearances and he certainly ended the year on a high note regardless of whether he was rocking Originals or Re-issues. Check out Drake’s kicks after the jump and let us know what you think. via mercurynews/wild94.9.

Nike Zoom KD III TB – Upcoming Colorways

Kevin Durant has expressed interest in spreading out his kicks throughout the league. While the shoe is adorned with his name and personal details, the Zoom KD III is really a shoe for everyone, and with these new TB (Team Bank) colorways, it’ll be a lot easier for players around the league to wear them. These four new colorways feature pure white bases with secondary colorways of varsity red, varsity royal, varsity green, and black, and we foresee the Zoom KD III to be popular leaguewide – just like its predecessor was. Take a look at the new colorways after the jump and expect these to release very soon.

Reebok Pump Omni Lite Pro ‘NFL Pack’ – Spring/Summer 2011

This latest pack from Reebok combines football team logo and uniform colors with a classic basketball sneaker, but the irony is far from over there.  Not all that long after Nike signed on to replace RBK as the NFL’s official outfitter starting in 2010 is our first look at the Reebok Pump Omni Lite Pro ‘NFL Pack’.  The chuckle-inducing timing continues when you notice that both the New York Giants and Oakland Raiders are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.  Close to a last gasp on many levels, the kicks themselves are pretty solid with mostly patent leather construction and white contrasts, and they’ll hit retailers along with matching hats early next year.  via Provider

Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid – Black – Volt – Dark Grey | Available

Sneaker News gave you an exclusive first look at this colorway back in August, and although the color scheme of black, volt, and dark grey has been recycled countless times, it seems to never get old. The serious tone of black matched with the electricity of volt offers the perfect sports-culture colorway and looks especially tough on the Zoom Huarache TR Mid. The upper features a black shell with a dark grey inner Torch-lined bootie, with volt green on the inner lining. The midsole is comprised of the trio of colorways – dark grey on the heel, volt on the forefoot, and black on the midsole chassis. Check out the new detailed shots and grab a pair now on Nikestore.

Highs and Lows x New Balance ‘Night and Day’ Pack

Outside America, a few countries are known as international sneakerhead hot spots and Australia is near the top of that list.  Aussie-published Sneaker Freaker is among the global leaders in kicks-on-print and their fellow countrymen at Perth’s Highs & Lows created a pack of New Balance runners that’s every bit as beautiful and under the radar as the SNKRFRKR magazine.  The Highs and Lows x New Balance ‘Night and Day’ pack will grace the cover of SF issue 20 with its sunny side, a suede study in blue tones that reminds you of a pleasant afternoon.  The Night model is built for “the uncertainty of evening” with a darker and more rugged construction that adds reflective 3M hits and a hint of speckle on its midsole to reflect the night sky.  Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more on this April 2011 release.

Nike Basketball Christmas Day Collection

With some big-time NBA plans in schedule for Christmas Day, Nike has rolled out the red carpet for its three marquee endorsees and their respective signature shoes in a special Christmas Day Collection called “Signal Your Color”. Each colorway is designated a special tag-line with the primary message being that of forward progress; the Nike LeBron 8 V.2 features a vibrant “Run on Red” colorway with green laces and a speckled midsole, the Nike Zoom KD III utilizes a “No Yield For Yellow” package with a tonal yellow upper with hints of OKC blue and orange, and the Nike Zoom Kobe VI boasts a “Green Means Go” colorway that embodies Kobe Bryant’s continual push for greatness. All three special colorways will be on display this Christmas during the Miami Heat/Los Angeles Lakers match-up as well as during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s showdown with the Denver Nuggets, and will be available for purchase on the following day. Continue reading for a detailed look at all three colorways and let us know which of three is your favorite.

Air Jordan V Retro GS Black Alarming Red

Sure, there have been plenty of hybrids and an AJF model bearing its signature tongue, lacelock and sharkstooth midsole, but other than last year’s Raging Bull package, we haven’t seen new Air Jordan V Retro colorways since 2007.  That set of releases included memorable colorways like the ‘Grapes’ and ‘Green Beans’; could lady sneakerheads come to hold the name ‘Alarming Red’ in such high regard?  That’s the intense pink shade you see on the sockliner and midsole, one that could make the AJV GS one of the more satisfying shrink-n-pink releases in recent memory.  These will drop some time next year, so do you plan to grab a pair?  And is the design solid enough that some guys might even try to cram their feet into these?  via MN/Da Closet Collector
