Nike Air Force 1 Low – Carmelo Anthony PE

Carmelo Anthony’s been feeling the Nike and Jordan Brand love when he first came upon the NBA, as we’ve seen Carmelo sport some great Air Jordan Retro PEs during games and off the court. Here’s a look at a clean pair of Air Force 1 Lows made for Carmelo Anthony back in 2004; it features the classic Nuggets white, powder blue, and maize with Carmelo’s ‘Melo’ logo stitched on the rear heel. The Denver Nuggets colors surround the shoe, as seen on the double-layered swoosh, stitching on the midsole, inner lining, and tongue label, but as we know, it’s the white base that controls the simplicity of this rare pair of Air Force 1 PEs. Take another look after the jump and to cop this size 14 collectible, check out the auction from toebox_champ on eBay.

Carmelo Anthony & Sneaker News Discuss Melo M7

SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE

On the eve of his much-anticipated match-up with the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets superstar and Brooklyn-born Carmelo Anthony sat down with Sneaker News after a team practice to discuss his brand new signature shoe with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Melo M7. Passionate energy has been one of Carmelo Anthony’s calling cards throughout his career, whether it be about his hometown roots, family and loved ones, his teammates and professional success, and particularly his signature line of footwear with Jordan Brand. Now seven deep into the Jordan Melo sneaker legacy, the Melo M7 is on the brink of writing another sensational chapter in Carmelo’s growing legacy; the deceptively lightweight construction combined with unique pairings of materials like Foamposite and patent leather result in arguably the best Jordan Melo design yet, with top-notch on-court performance as well as an off-the-court lifestyle appeal to boot. Celebrity Feet: Tom Cruise Air Jordan XI Concord

Tom Cruise is more than just an actor, but rather a internationally recognized brand usually tied to blockbuster movies. Cruise can be regarded as the biggest movie-star of all time and that certainly has garnered him notoriety on an unmeasurable scale, but it seems like Cruise is also a big name in one small sub-culture comprised of sneaker geeks and Jordan fanatics. Alongside his wife Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise was spotted on the streets of New York City wearing a crisp pair of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. Upon closer inspection, one can point out the slightly blue tint on the translucent sole, which could mean that Mr. Cruise got his hands on a pair of the recently confirmed 2011 release of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. Then again, if you’re Tom Cruise, how can you not get special dibs from Nike? Unfortunately, we don’t get to see Tom in his kicks that often – the last such reported occasions of this year was when he was spotted with the Air Max Hyperize and Air Max LeBron VII. Check out Tom Cruise after the jump and let us know what you think of his kicks.

Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 GS – Black – Crimson – Metallic Gold | February 2011

With the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 having been pulled together from Air Jordan XII and Nike Air Max 97, it’s fitting that we’ve seen colorway nods in both directions.  This latest CMFT Max Air 12 GS manages to go both ways on a single design, all at once evoking the classic ‘Gold Medal’ AM97s and adding that classic Air Jordan aggression courtesy of a black mesh upper with a Jumpman on the tongue.  And there’s a bit of crosspollination from the mudguard down, with the metallic sections done in the patent leather made famous by the AJXII’s prequel, plus some Chicago red inside the AM97′s groundbreaking full-length Air unit.  These will hit retailers in February 2011 along with the French Blue joints we showed you earlier — which pair’s better?

Celebrity Feet: Nate Robinsons Air Max 1 iD Collection

Nate Robinson‘s been at the forefront of the NBA sneaker-game ever since he entered the league in 2005 as a late first-round pick from the Knicks (via the Suns). Nate’s been known to wear some heat during his college days, but his sneaker-fame in the NBA is solely due to his rising up the ranks – literally – by dunking over anyone with a pulse and capturing the hearts of the undersized around the globe. During his time with the Knicks and the Celtics, Nate Robinson has gone against the team-sneaker trend and has worn some notable kicks like the Zoom LeBron IV ‘Birthday’, the Altitude XIII (long before the 2010 version was even confirmed), and a number of other Jordan Retros, but in this latest twitter video, Nate Robinson sheds light on one of his favorite sneakers – the Nike Air Max 1. He’s gotten positively iD crazy because his sneaker closet is filled with Nike Air Max 1 iDs, so check out his collection video after the jump and let us know which colorway stands out the most!

Nike Zoom KD III ‘Christmas Day’ | Release Info

Despite minor ailments to his left knee and ankle this season, Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Kevin Durant has managed to retain his clutch on the NBA scoring title.  Last year’s PPG champ will be playing a big role in the NBA’s annual Christmas Day showcase and when the Denver Nuggets roll into OKC, Durant will defend the Ford Center in this new Nike Zoom KD III.  The Christmas Zoom KD III is unlike fellow Nike Basketball megastars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James’ Santa-day sigs, opting for a more uniform-friendly Vibrant Yellow look instead of something red/green/white.  Should be an interesting day all around the Association, so be sure to check out our NBA Feet recap and look for the Nike Zoom KDIII ‘Christmas Day’ on Saturday the 25th at Eastbay.

Nike Air Max 1 – ‘Terra Huarache’ | Available Again @ Nikestore

Don’t rub your eyes – this is indeed the Nike Air Max 1 in Olive Grey, Chutney, and Grape that released back in 2006. Inspired by classic Nike ACG color-blocking, this Air Max 1 was a popular release when it was released at select Nike accounts over four years ago as it featured a rugged outdoors-y colorway and a speckled midsole, which, to some, deemed these a gotta-have-it release based on that design feature alone. Somehow, somewhere, a number of sizes re-appeared and were then made available on Nikestore one full presidential term later, so if you’ve been looking around for these, head to Nikestore now and pick up one of the select sizes available.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Black Varsity Red White | Detailed Images

With the recent availability of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI on Nike iD, you may have been contemplating some crazy colorways of the Kobe VI, but all you need to do is check out some of the GR colorways. The ‘Grinch’ colorway, Glass Blue, or even this Black, White, Varsity Red, and Dark Grey colorway serves up some nice varieties of head-turning combinations, but chalk that up to the polyurethane snakeskin upper. This colorway of black, red, and white is quite simple and has been a common one for Nike Kobes, but as stated before, the snakeskin shell provides an outstanding pop never before seen on any other sneaker. Celebrity Feet: Drake Air Jordan VII (7) Bordeaux

During his performance at the 94.9 Wildjam in San Jose, CA, Aubrey Graham Drake aka ‘Drake’ wore the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ to match his all-black ensemble. Likely to be the upcoming Retro version (the OGs would probably be unable to handle Drake’s animated performance style), Drake’s kicks matched just fine with all-black and managed to stand out with the charcoal grey and hints of Bordeaux as well as the other bright colors seen on this colorway. Drake’s been Jordan-friendly with his 2010 appearances and he certainly ended the year on a high note regardless of whether he was rocking Originals or Re-issues. Check out Drake’s kicks after the jump and let us know what you think. via mercurynews/wild94.9.
