2010 has been nothing short of massive and we already knew next year would also be a big one for Nike Air Foamposite technology, but last week’s preview showed even more crazy pearlized colorways on tap! The pair above is one we already knew about before it popped up in those photos but the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Electric Green’ is undeniably crazy in its own right. These joints have some Kryptonate DNA in them, which apparently also bestows the power of time travel for the purposes of creating sick basketball sneakers. This is our first look at the Electric Green Foamposite Pro on a person’s foot and they look quite impressive next to dude’s blonde hardwood floors. Nike started its outdoor unit in 1989, two years after the Air Max 1 shook up the running world with its visible Air unit. So when you see the All Conditions Gear branding on the Nike Air Max 1 ‘ACG Pack’, you might think of older friends taking you out to celebrate your 21st. This particular Dark Shadow colorway has the quality of being all at once vibrant, high-contrast and yet somehow there’s a subtle perfection. Maybe it’s the pink laces, and the ACG-style ruggedization is a big plus, but in any case these are clearly one of the more energetic Eighty-Sevens we’ve seen in 2010 and they’re available right now from shaolin8 on eBay.

We’re already talking about one of the most outrageous and unconventional basketball signature sneakers ever, so when we say this could be the craziest Nike Zoom Kobe VI colorway we’ve seen so far, that assertion carries a lot of weight. Heavy enough to make your eyes bug out like a cartoon character, the ‘Glass Blue’ Zoom Kobe 6 is a palette befitting a superhero. It’s unlike anything we’ve seen in the Zoom Kobe series but maybe if you took the Shannon Brown PE and both Chaos editions and put em in a blender this is one of the possible outcomes. The Nike Air Royal Mid ‘Workboot’ releases of late 2009 were certainly some of the most underrated drops in recent memory. For Spring 2011, an all-new colorway of the Nike Sportswear lifestyle-inspired Royal Mid arrives – this time in a wheat leather upper with a gum mid-sole, reminiscent of Timberland’s Classic 6-inch boots. The upper features workboot-style lace eyelets with roped laces and a pebbled leather upper for a hint of rugged in this overall clean look, and a ‘Your Time Will Come’ label appears on the tongue. After seeing a deservedly robust retro run by Nike Sportswear and giving birth to the Flywire-equipped upgrade, the Nike Air Trainer SC has been rather quiet in recent months. Right in time for Christmas and a possibly miraculous playoff run is this Air Trainer SC reppin the only NFL team Bo Jackson played for, Daaaaa Raidaaas. These joints have a rugged look thanks to their steely colorway, the infamously massive midsole and a waxed textile mudguard that vaguely resembles carbon fiber.
