Air Jordan 1 Anodized – University Blue – Black – White | Available on eBay

Of the colors we typically associate with the Air Jordan Legacy, University Blue isn’t the closest match to Dark Neon Royal.  But the UNC shade’s role as fundamental to Michael Jordan’s career is similar to the latter’s status as first ever Foamposite, so it was only natural to see a Foamposite-like Air Jordan redux come along in this colorway.  The Air Jordan 1 Anodized looks great with Carolina blue ‘armor’ and the black accents make for a cooler-than-cool look that’s perfect for the winter months.  The shape of a legendary basketball sneaker cast in the material of another, the latest AJ1 Anodized is available now from StepToRun on eBay.

Nike Air Max 90 – Black – Dark Shadow | Spring 2011

The Nike Air Attack Pack of 2010 featured a barrage of sick new colorways on a wide collection of Air-cushioned Nike silhouettes. Of course the Air Max 90 would be included, as it is regarded by some as the greatest Air Max design in history. One of the five colorways that released as part of that pack was a black/grey pair that gave off a faux-denim look – and this upcoming Spring 2011 Air Max 90 release achieves the same. The upper is fashioned with a canvas-like material but the difference between this version and the Air Attack rendition is the red trim on the Air Max badge on the upper as well as on the Air Unit, and a black outsole instead of the crisp white. You can expect this second go-around of faux-denim in Spring 2011, so take an extra look after the jump and let us know what you think.

Vans OTW Bedford Spring 2011 Colorways

Is the Bedford Vans’ favorite model from their recently launched OTW Collection?  You’d be up against a tough task getting hard data for that one but the Vans Bedford remains the first and only OTW drop to see a collaborative release.  And like the In4mation collabo, one of the new Bedfords for spring 2011 features a simple two-toned upper.  The other three have more of a ‘pack’-like feel to them thanks to each pair adding woven nylon beneath a largely monochromatic suede upper.  Check out black, gold and navy pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Vans OTW sneakers. via FnG.

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 – Tyreke Evans Kings Away PE | Available @ HoH

2010 NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans is finding it difficult to help the Sacramento Kings return to their playoff form of a decade ago.  Paired with fellow coached-by-Cal-for-one-year guy DeMarcus Cousins has yet to pay off in wins but the Kings have a solid foundation to build around and Evans himself has a firm base, whether home or away.  These Nike Hyperdunk 2010 PEs are crafted for games outside the Arco Arena and feature the ‘REKE HAVOC 13′ tongue insignia to finish off the purple/white-on-black look.  The closest location to SacTown is Daly City and there are now a total of 22 House of Hoops locations around the country where you can cop these.

Nike Air Max Courtballistec 3.3 + 2011 Australian Open Kit

“Rafa is one of the most dynamic athletes out there.”

He may not have as many Grand Slam titles as rival Roger Federer (yet), but Rafael Nadal is still easily one of tennis’ all time greats.  If the last several brilliant years are any indication, Rafa will be in the Australian Open finals wearing the LunarLon-equipped upgrade to his latest signature sneaker, the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 3.3.  Nadal beat Federer there in 2009 and both guys will have the added advantage of Nike’s superior tennis kits.  Click below to see a video with above-quoted designer Alex Chen discussing the Air Max Court Ballistec 3.3 and Rafa’s Aussie Open gear.  via EUKicks

SK8MAFIA x Kellen James x eS Square Two

Top pro skaters have had sponsorships with multiple brands since the mid ’80s, so it’s little surprise that the current wave of sneakerhead culture was spearheaded by collaborations with brands like Nike SB.  Here’s a case where you’ve got almost everything you need to slide and grind all in one package, the SK8Mafia x és Square Two for mutual repper Kellen James.  Everything on these joints is burgundy with gold accents, from the suede lowtops to the box they come in, matching tee or creepy half-robed ‘Dia de los Muertos virgin Mary’ appearing on the double-branded Sk8mafia deck.  Click below for closeups of each piece and look for these at select éS retailers.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Experience by Dsicle

According to the man himself, “My government name is Duane, my nickname is dsicle, I’m half Japanese, and I’m a graphic designer living in Dallas, Texas.”  Dsicle recently headed up north to NYC where he found out first hand just how engrossing the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience can be.  And this wasn’t just any Bespoke; Dsicle had help from perhaps the two most notable AF1-heads in the country, Mayor and DJ Clark Kent on hand to help out with refining the final product.  These joints came out super classy with ‘Edgy Veggie’ basetball glove leather ont he toe and eyelets giving way to waterproof wool on the rear plus some rubberized Nappa leather on the Swoosh and heeltabs.  It’s one of the nicest Bespoke AF1s we’ve seen and the photos are just sick so click through to see more and let us know how these rank against the other Bespokes we’ve shown you here on Sneaker News.
