Nike Hyperdunk 2010 – Trevor Ariza PE | Available @ HoH

Trevor Ariza’s first season with the New Orleans Hornets is off to a better start than most expected, and there’s no doubting the significance of a solid base.  Ariza’s game literally finds its foundation in the Nike Hyperdunk 2010, with the above pictured pair a player exclusive for Hornets road games.  A black HD2010 with bright blue accents and a ‘TA 1′ tongue label makes Ariza feel at home wherever the NBA schedule takes him and the calendar shows that Ariza’s Hyperdunk 2010 PE is available today at House of Hoops.  Click below to see more photos and be check out the sick new HoH website.

Nike SB January 2011 Footwear Releases

Your sneaker budget might be low from the insanely huge amount of high quality holiday releases this year, but resolve to save/earn enough so you can get in on Nike SB’s solid January 2011 catalog.  Let’s start with the Nike SB Dunk, available in Mid and Low this time around.  The Mids have been associated with Nike SB rider Theotis Beasley while the Lows are modeled after fictional character Kenny Powers’ jetski, but with Nike’s immortal Safari print in place of cheetah.  There’s a single Blazer this month, a blue and gold CS Mid, with the Zoom Bruin coming in with a nice deep red look with a brown sole.  The P-Rod series sees a new 2.5 and launches the V-Rod, there’s an all black, all leather Zoom Omar Salazar NFW, plus a navy/gum Zoom Stefan Janoski, and you can see all of them after the jump.

Nike LeBron 8 V2 Navy White

As Nike Basketball’s footwear continues to apply advanced technologies, it’s comforting to see that their signature products still look great, if not even better.  Look at this new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V2.  Now, if this colorblocking pattern was done on a pair of ‘regular’ LeBron VIIIs, it’d certainly be clean and a particularly fine homage to LeBron’s favorite baseball team if done with white Flywire, but the simple palette just looks stunning on this V2 thanks to the array of navy tones cast through the translucent sections.  We can’t wait to see more LeBron 8 V2 colorways; check out the navy/white joints and let us know how these compare to the rest we’ve seen so far. via MarcSJ.

Anta KG 1 Christmas

Big-men were never exactly marketable icons for footwear sales. The greatest signature basketball footwear lines were modeled for players on the wing, slashing into the paint to deliver monstrous dunks and unbelievable aerial acrobatics. Perhaps that trend could be pointed towards Kevin Garnett’s sneaker history, as his latest affiliation with Anta marks the fourth overall company he’s been in cahoots with. After showing you detailed images of the Anta KG-1, it’s safe to say that Kevin Garnett has finally found a home, because the design incited positive responses from our readers. With Christmas-themed kicks already lined of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Baron Davis, and possibly a few more, Anta has fashioned this sweet colorway of the Anta KG-1 in the classic Celtics colors – but with a acute splash of red and gold for the festive theme. Continue reading for a detailed viewing of the Anta KG-1 ‘Christmas’ and let us know what you think. via hoopchina.

Classic Kicks x Puma R698

According to VP Jennifer Haiken, Classic Kicks was founded on the premise that “In New York City, there’s supposed to be everything,” imaginable in terms of sneaker selection.  No doubt NYC is the global capital of sneakerheadism and another boutique has offered a collaboration from their spot in the boroughs.  NoHo’s number one sneaker destination designed a pack of brightly colored Puma R698 runners, each of which offers up some clear early ’90s inspiration in its colorway.  All three pairs are crafted of rich suede and leather with soft padded Lycra sockliners and each comes with a neoprene laptop bag bearing the Trinomic logo.  Click through to get some more images and stick with Sneaker News for the Classic Kicks x Puma R698 release date.  via HS

Nike AFE Lava Dunk High – Available @ 21 Mercer

The Nike Dunk could be considered as one of the silhouettes representative of this decade and if there were a ‘Sneaker Hall-of-Fame’, the Nike Dunk would be a first-ballot unanimous choice. Well, there is no Cooperstown for kicks, but there are certain design capsules of select tastes, like the Nike Athletics Far East Collection. If you need a refresher, AFE transforms classic into cool with an Eastern twist, using a camouflage print as its calling card and luxurious colorways in its arsenal. The Nike AFE Lava Dunk, for example, combines the aforementioned Dunk with another time-honored classic – the Nike ACG Lava Dome. The combination of Dunk & Dome equals a snazzy pair of weather-ready kicks, completel with nylon and synthetic leather uppers, rugged outsoles, and D-ring lace-hoops. 21 Mercer just got two colorways in so head there to cop a pair after you check out the gallery below.

Asphalt Gold x Nike Air Max 1 iD Two Year Anniversary

Nike has done plenty of collaborative sneakers with European boutiques, but interestingly enough, none have been from Germany.  Solebox and Overkill are both recognized leaders in the Deutschland sneaker game, but another relatively new spot beat these established stores to get their own Swoosh shoe.  The asphaltgold x Nike Air Max 1 was crafted through NIKEiD, a fact that gives this special makeup an imitable look.  But only 10 pairs of these were created and though the heel text option is probably replicable, there’s no way to get your hands on the special cracked sidewalk slideout box.  But you can get a better look, so feel free to click on the jump below for more photos and let us know what you think of asphaltgold’s Air Max 1.  via EUKicks

NBA Feet: J.R. Smith Air Jordan XI Cool Grey

is the clear and present frontrunner for best ‘Feet’ of the season, but last night, that crown went to another NBA player also known to wear flashy kicks from time to time. J.R. Smith of the Denver Nuggets helped his team to victory over the Orlando Magic while wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ during the game. Though not an exact match with the white, powder blue, and gold colors of the Nuggets flag, the Cool Grey is pretty much a neutral colorway, allowing it to match just about anything. J.R. Smith is best recognized for his eye-catching Kobe V iD’s, but his latest sneaker switch definitely caught our attention. Take a look at J.R. Smith in action with the Cool Grey XI and let us know what you think! via ESPN.
