Nike Dunk High – Bronze – Pecan – Black – Polka Dot

If you can’t get enough of the Dunk, 2011 will be one helluva year for you. With the ‘Be True To Your Street‘ Collection dropping one by one and all-new SB Dunk colorways headed our way, it’ll be tough to stray from your true love. Here’s a look at a Dunk High in Bronze, Pecan, and Black, – part of the aforementioned ‘Street’ Collection. The upper features a woodsy mix of Bronze and Pecan with a black midsole nad the polka-dot treatment on the center panel. Further contrast lies in the upper synthetic leather texture (smooth and tumbled). Slap some green laces on these and you have yourself the Dunk High version of the Air Force 1 Low ‘Superbowl’ of 2006. Like what you see? Cop a pair now from 95soleman on eBay.

Nike ACG Lunarstorm – Blue – Beige – Tartan Plaid

All Conditions Gear’s take on the classic duck boot, the Nike ACG Woodside earns a LunarLon sole upgrade to become the ACG LunarStorm.  The first pair we saw had that classic Nike Lunar look with a neon sole bottoming a black boot and the second pair for ladies was all black, so with its vaguely patriotic colorup, this new ACG Lunarstorm could prove to be the very best from the line so far, its nubuck upper again a sign that this model is more of an aesthetic study than a hardcore waterproof boot.  And yet the plaid ankle and lining serve to give ‘em a real hearty feel, so click through for a better look and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release.  via SF

Nonnative x New Balance CM1500 ‘Coyote’

The rough-as-ruffage Nike SB Dunk High ‘Skunk’ earned a spot on the Sneaker News Top 30 of 2010 list with its outlandish inspiration, and while this latest New Balance collaboration lacks similar controversy, they’re definitely an early contender for 2011′s nappiest suede.  Japanese streetwear brand Nonnative collaborated with the Boston-based brand to create this New Balance CM1500 ‘Coyote’, a runner whose look is anything but ‘ugly’.  They’re pretty similar to the Timbo-inspired ‘Wheat’ colorway we see from time to time, but the extremely nappy suede signals right off the bat that these are a bit wilder than your average golden brown kicks.  Check out more shots after the jump and call on your Japanese connects to be a part of the January 3rd launch at Tokishirazu and other select retailers.

Nike Dunk Low 08 Icons – Grey – White

Nike Sportswear’s upcoming ‘Be True To Your Street’ collection echoes the classic BTTYS aesthetic but instead of just the Original 7 colorways, we’re getting a bunch of subtle new designs that could one day become legends.  And as is the case with several of the motifs in this huge set, we’ve already seen a Dunk High Premium with similar embossed circle pattern, and now the look is repeated on a soon-to-drop Nike Dunk Low 08.  This pair is blocked more like your ‘standard’ BTTYS look and keeps the circular dimples on its grey leather overlay.  Another simple yet solid look for spring, you can see more photos of this latest Dunk Low after the jump.  via mita sneakers

NBA Feet: Kicks From Around The League – 12/29/10

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a look at LeBron James’ newest colorway of the LeBron 8 V2, but here’s a complete look at all the NBA kicks from last night. Kobe wore the Black/Del Sol Kobe VI once again and Chris Paul wore his Jordan CP3.IV. Other notable kicks included Russell Westbrook and Blake Griffin in the all new Air Max Hyper (think Max Air + Fuse + ankle strap), J.J. Hickson’s sweet Hyperdunk 2010 PE, Steph Curry’s royal/yellow Hyperfuse PE, and Gerald Wallace’s Jordan ‘Ol School IV PE. Some older varieties like Rip Hamilton’s Black/White Air Jordan II, Thabo Sefolosha’s Nike KD2, Nazr Mohammed’s Zoom Kobe IV (yes, IV), Wade’s sweet AJ2010 PE, and Joe Johnson’s Jordan Pure J. Continue reading for a complete look and let us know who takes the top spot. via ESPN.

Air Jordan IV Pony Hair

One of Michael Jordan’s many nicknames is ‘The Black Cat‘, and we figure that’s the driving force behind this all-black Air Jordan IV made up of pony hair. Yes, pony is by no means a black cat, but it sure does capture the fierce animalistic vibe. We first caught a glimpse of this uncaged beast at Kicks Lab Vol. 5 out in Tokyo, and whether or not they’re a Jordan Brand commissioned pair or the handi-work of a sneaker customizer is up in the air, but these are certainly one of the most peculiar Air Jordans we’ve ever seen. Take another detailed look after the jump and let us know if you’d ever rock a pony-haired Air Jordan – or if it’s strictly a display piece. via gallery2.

Nike Air Max Closer IV Jermaine ONeal Away PE

He’s the second biggest O’Neal the Boston Celtics signed this offseason both in stature and legacy, but does anyone have more incentive to help the Cs get back to the Finals and beat the Lakers than Jermaine O’Neal?  The best year of his career was wasted in large part due to Ron Artest’s season-long suspension, a twist of fate (or splash of beer, as it were) that resulted in the East-favorite Pacers not meeting expectations in ’04-05 and Jermaine hasn’t been quite the same since.  He’s averaging about five points in fifteen minutes a night for Boston, and when the Celtics are out on the road battling for playoff position, the six-time All Star rocks these Nike Air Max Closer IV Away PEs.  The Nike Elite tongue tag is slightly ironic at this point in his career, but no question the AM Closer 4 provides a solid base for what could be key minutes for a new-old champion.  Click through to get a better look at the latest Nike Basketball player exclusive and stick with Sneaker News for the latest NBA Feet.

NBA Feet: LeBron James Nike LeBron 8 V.2 Black White

During the Miami’s second game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James wore the Nike LeBron 8 in the ‘Blackout’ but with a white swoosh – perhaps a way to attract some attention to the sneakers (the one drawback of ‘Blackout’ is that it’s completely blacked out!). After debuting the LeBron 8 V2 on Christmas Day and following that with the White/Sport Red colorway on Tuesday night, LeBron James wore a third colorway of the V2 in as many games – but this one we’ve yet to see. This particular pair features a black upper with a white swoosh, outsole, and Air bag; will this be a released version, or should we expect a Blackout V2? Take a look at the newest colorway of the LeBron 8 V2 after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for all NBA Feet coverage. via ESPN.

adidas Woodsyde – Blue – White – Red

If you read the title of this post and thought, “Wait, isn’t there already a ‘woodside’ sneaker,” you were right.  The Nike ACG Woodside is an Air cushioned waterproof boot whose name evokes memories of the landscape in Duck Hunt, so what are we to make of the adidas Woodsyde?  This Three Stripes model actually predates the ACG Woodside by about a quarter-century, its initial drop falling between the Japanese and US releases of the NES.  The combination of mid ’80s basketball aesthetics and patriotic colorway is a real throwback and you simply cannot go wrong with suede this lush.  Check out more shots after the jump and if you like what you see look for these at select adidas Originals accounts like RiceandBeans.

Gourmet New Releases @ Primitive

The start of 2011 means every sneaker brand you’ve heard of and even some you haven’t will be releasing their spring ’11 lineup.  Gourmet is probably somewhere in between on average, with savvy sneakerheads admiring their subtle mashups while others might only remember them for the early ‘Ape Jordan’ silhouettes.  Here are three new Gourmet models for Q1 that drop all the AJ styling and stick to lifestyle designs with some Nike Air Max running thrown in for good measure.  The Gourmet Quadici returns with its Duck Boot-meets-Air Max 97 look, a style that’s modified with a moc-toe and chukka-style lacing for the new 28 midtop.  Last but not least is an UNDFTD-designed Cinque that takes its mudguard from the Nike Air Max 1 and loosely borrows the OG Varsity Royal’s colorway.  Check out all three pairs in more photos after the jump and look for these at select boutiques like Primitive.
