From the Bin 23 Collection of once-forgotten design concepts comes the latest Air Jordan V release, one that instantly ranks near the top of the ‘most versatile Jays’ list. The Air Jordan 5 Premio is decked out entirely in black leather, even down to a faux netting panel that replaces the traditional translucent plastic. That substitution along with the super-simple colorway and luxe leather construction makes for an Air Jordan you could almost get away with rocking to formal events, and we’re pretty much expecting to see these show up as one of this year’s prom season sleeper hits. The only question is, will you be able to get a pair from this tightly limited run? Avoid the rush and lock yours up today courtesy of air-randy on eBay.

Pro football’s annual tradition of gathering the best players of each conference and sending them to Hawaii to participate in a fun-filled exhibition game has another tradition within itself – Nike PEs. Here’s a look at a 2011 Pro Bowl PE of the Nike Dunk Low; it features a grey, black, and white upper with a translucent blue outsole and Hawaiian graphics stitched on the outer heels of both shoes – similar to that of the Nike Air Force 1 2009 Pro Bowl. The heel tab also features ‘Ohana’, which signifies a ‘family’ in Hawaiian culture. Check out the extra images of the Nike Dunk Low 2011 Pro Bowl below and let us know what you think. via NickDePaula.

Team Sneaker News has been sitting pretty at the number 2 spot heading into Week 13, and a match-up against League Commissioner FLuD Watches of the “Barksdale & Bell” fantasy basketball league would be a true test to the Team SneakerNews roster as Eric Gordon, one of the best players on the roster, went down with injury. Unfortunately, Team SneakerNews could not overcome the injuries as Week 14 resulted in a 3-6 loss to FLuD Watches. While the #2 spot still remains in our possession, our Week 15 match-up against IM KING will determine if we lose or maintain our position as the #2 squad in the league as Emeka Okafor, another big contributor, will be sidelined with an ailment as well. Check out the Team SN roster and league standings after the jump and check back next week for the latest results.

At yesterday’s event at The Vault in LA, Nike brought us a look at a showcase featuring the All-Star 2011 footwear collection and much more. In addition to the Los Angeles-themed Zoom Kobe VI’s and Hyperfuse Lows, we also got our first introduction to this year’s All-Star Air Force 1 pack as well. The pack will feature three new colorways of the Air Force 1, each one coinciding with the three aspects of LA honored by the All-Star collection. Like with the performance basketball line-up, the three AF1′s are inspired by areas of the LA region – East LA, Hollywood and Orange County – with all three featuring the same “LA” logo branding found on their respective Kobe/Hyperfuse counterparts.
The “East LA” edition features a simple black/white color scheme with the East LA branding found on the tongue label and inside the shoe on the insole. The “Orange County” installment sports a white upper with hits of aqua blue and hot red providing some OC-appropriate splashes of color. The Hollywood edition of the All-Star AF1 pack switches it up a little from the 3-D theme in favor of a classy white/metallic gold color scheme featuring some decorative graphics on the heel. Keep reading after the jump for a look at all three and look out for these to arrive at retail around All-Star Weekend.

Sneaker News is happy to report three brand new Air Jordan colorways on three of the most popular AJ Legacy models. Oh wait, they’re just tee shirts? Ok, that’s fine and we’ll take em all the same. Check out the new Air Jordan III, VII and XIII Technicolor tees. These joints seem to hint at a trend that’s bubbling up in our recent previews: the world might be poised for another run of ultra-bright and high contrast colorways. The three palettes depicted on these tees are somewhere between a wax etching and one of those late ’80s iridescent surfer pullovers and their rainbow designs mean you should be able to rock with quite a few footwear options. The black and red editions were obvious choices for a couple of previews we’ve seen, but don’t forget that Nike Sportswear plans to release no fewer than a dozen Nike Sky Force ’88 Vintage colorways in the coming months. These follow the same basic colorblocking pattern as the aforementioned pairs, but instead of red or black, we’re looking at classic varsity style shades of royal blue and kelly green on the accents of these otherwise white leather Sky Force 88s. In an age when the Dunk, Air Force 1, Blazer have become defaults in the streetwear world, it’s particularly refreshing to see this model emerge from the Beaverton vaults and simply smack you upside the head with their quintessentially old school look. Those of you who pay extra attention to detail (and really, isn’t that one of the key characteristics common to nearly all sneakerheads?), you might have noticed Swiss sneaker suppliers Titolo recently redesigned their website. That clean new look definitely didn’t go unnoticed and Nike Switzerland sent the shop an equally aesthetically pleasing gift in the form of a bundle of Nike Air Max 1 iDs. These joints are done in a Pittsburgh Steelers-style colorup to match the Titolo store logo and made only for the store’s staff. Click through to see more and let us know how they compare to other AM1 iDs you’ve seen or made, like AsphaltGold’s recent pair.
