Nike Sportswear has done a great job resurrecting forgotten models and cult favorites in recent years, and here’s another Nike Ruhning gem you might know of but have never seen, finally set for a new round of colorways.  The Nike Air Kukini takes its name from swift-footed Hawaiian messengers but the shoe was actually designed for triathletes, from its lightweight, breathable and quick-drying materials to the ease with which you can pull ’em on your feet.  One womens and two mens colorways are split between tonal and contrasting application of their proto-Flywire enclosure, with the tonal black joints adding a ‘+’ pattern to the neoprene layer and the ladies joints going for a checked base.  These are the first Kukinis to be released during Sneaker News’ years online, so be sure to click through to see more shots and let us know if you plan to cop any or all of these upcoming colorways.  via SF
